    Challenge

In @Kitty2Katz check in, one of her goals was to say two positive things about herself. I challenge everyone to do this today! If you feel comfortable post them here.

    1) I am a positive person who loves to support/encourage everyone
    2) I am a great mom

    Check-in 10/8:

Steps: 6914 (fell asleep on the couch early)
    Calories: 1219 (194 remaining)
    Water: 92oz
C25K: 3 of 3 workouts complete for the week
    Ring Streak; 31 days

I was starting to come down and was almost at my last weigh-in weight yesterday. Then today, I am up 1.1 lbs. I don’t know what is going on. I am staying on track, exercising and decreased my sodium. The only thing I can think of is that I haven’t been eating enough calories. A few days a week, I have to add “fake calories” to complete my diary and see the projected 5 week loss. So, I am going to focus on hitting 1200 calories everyday and she of that helps. I am getting really frustrated but keep thinking how great it will be to break through this plateau.

Are you eating at least 1/2 of your exercise calories back? ...Try making a fruit smoothie ...or fruit and PB or Celery and PB ...I do no think you are eating enough ...just my 2 cents ....You got this :)

    Tracked Yes
    Under Calorie No
    Steps 16,606
Exercise 39 min 10 rounds boxing workout and walk

This is late for me to post feel like I almost forget yesterday. Overall did pretty well, glad to get a walk in later in the day. I was almost at my calorie goal just 10 or so over so I will count that as a win.

    Thursday 10/08

    13356 steps today
    3 ltrs water
    Under calories.

Having an ealy night as have an early appointment at the hospital, then need to pack for a weekend away in Scotland.

First time having to do MFP when having to eat out. At least i won't get tempted with alcohol as from 6pm tomorrow night Scotland cant serve alcohol in pubs or restaurants for 16 days and where we are going all pubs, restaurants and cafes have to close. Only residents in hotels can get meals but no alcohol.

Fingers crossed for weigh in tomorrow

    Tracked Yes
    Under Calorie Yes
    Water 128oz
    Steps 10873
Exercise 60 min walk pushing stroller

My daughter and I went for our mid day walk again. Between that, grocery shopping, and getting housework done, I didn't have a problem hitting my step goal.

My brother went to a Dr appt for an x-ray on his chest to make sure he didn't break anything when he got hurt at work. No broken bones but they found a spot on his lung. No idea what it is but now he has to have tests done. Trying not to worry until we know something but it's hard not to.

No, I am really bad with calories. I have this mindset that I have to eat fewer calories. I’m trying to change that but it seems counterintuitive to me. I did change my activity level to lightly active and I am going to try to hit a minimum of 1200 calories as my goal this week.

So I in-synced my watch for steps. I actually chose ‘don’t sync steps’ but it’s still reading from my phone for some reason and thinks that I only took 92 steps today.

Sorry I haven't been around much. I just started a new job last week and I'm still adjusting. It's a physically demanding job, so my workouts at home have just been strengthening.
This week I'm going to focus on eating enough calories, since I've had days I haven't even eaten 1000 calories.

Everyone will give you various opinions on this one. I personally try to eat no more than half the exercise calories back. When I wasn’t struggling with binges like I am now I stuck to my calorie goal and if I was still hungry I would dip into my exercise calories but never more than half. No matter what you choose look at your weight data and see if it is affecting your weight loss. If you find by eating all the exercise calories you gain weight or the weight loss slows down dial back on the exercise calories.

Usually not, it depends on how much I do. For instance, if I lift heavy and burn more than 500 or 600 calories I do. I think it depends a lot on your current goals and your current weight/age stats too. That's just my opinion and experience, not fact.

    Weigh In Day: Friday

    Steps: 1505

I am struggling hard with the not smoking and weight stuff.... if I don't smoke I want to eat everything in the house, then I am way over my calories. This bouncing back and forth within 5 pounds is frustrating. I guess it could be worse, I could just be gaining and gaining and gaining.

I was diagnosed with another illness and I'm already loaded with them and they want me to go for treatment with another specialist and take more meds upon the meds I'm already taking it's just too much right now to deal with and keep up with my groups and everything else on mfp.

I've decided to take a break for awhile and try to concentrate on the new treatment and try to get better and when I do I'll be back.

Thank you @lindamtuck2018 & @Megan_smartiepants1970 and everyone else on wish you the best. I hope to be back when I'm doing better.

So sorry about you being diagnosed ......I hate to see you go for awhile but I completely understand ...I hope you get better soon and come back to our amazing group...Take care of yourself :)
