WOW! How do you do the virtual marathon

I found one online (Alien Escape from Area 51) and mapped out a course at the park that I usually like to hike at. It ended up being 12 fairly hilly laps, and then I walked around the grassy area because I couldn't handle anymore hills! Since it's virtual, it's all on your own. I'm gonna submit my time and then they'll mail me by shirt! It took about 9.5 hours!

    Check-in for 10/5

    Steps: 8144
    Calories: 1040 (304 remaining)
    Rings: all closed
C25K: 2/3 complete for the week
    Water: 94 0z

Down 0.2 but still over last week's weight. I think that I have had too much sodium lately and need to reign it in. No popcorn tonight!

    Check in for 10/4

    Calories: 1252 (134 remaining)

    Rings: all closed
    C25K: 1of 3 workouts complete

I keep losing and gaining the same 0.5 - 0.75 pounds. I am going to trust the process and keep on task but I am so close to the 20lb mark and getting frustrated. I decided to go back to posting my daily goals to keep me more accountable.

@lindamtuck2018 - I’m sorry that you are missing your big trip. Just keep thinking about how fit and healthy you will be when things open back up to help with those binges.

You will get past the scale not cooperating. Don’t let it get to you. Maybe mMegan already asked you but your steps seem low for you. I am thinking it’s a typo.

That’s a great idea for a goal for me!

That number is certainly incorrect, thanks for noticing. @Megan_smartiepants1970 my steps for 10/4 were 8649

My treadmill broke on me today, right at the mile 2 mark. I really had to push myself to get going and just when I was in full stride, BOOOOM! Some mechanism snapped. Hoping I can get it fixed before all the cold comes our way.

230.2 is my weight. I just can’t seem to bring these numbers down.

I have been tracking, I have been working out. I just have to try harder.

I would like to know, for those with more weight on, what kind of shoes do you use for sport? And to walk long distance?

I've been using Asics gel contend all the way down the scale, even at 300 lbs. I love my shoes
