I keep losing and gaining the same 0.5 - 0.75 pounds. I am going to trust the process and keep on task but I am so close to the 20lb mark and getting frustrated. I decided to go back to posting my daily goals to keep me more accountable.

    How annoying is that?
But most of the times, when we are following consistency, one they we finally drop a lot

I would like to know, for those with more weight on, what kind of shoes do you use for sport? And to walk long distance?

I swear by my Brooks. I paid a lot for them but it made walking much easier.

I didn't knew about Brooks, I took a test and they are offering me this model

Sorry I am late in introducing myself. My name is Stephanie and in a couple of days I will be 44. My 24 year old son moved back home so food has been not so healthy. My passion is my dogs and hiking. My husband and I have done the Bataan Memorial Death March and have a passion for teaching people about it. I am looking forward to getting control over my weight and eating habits again.

Sorry I'm a bit late in introducing myself. I'm Jessica, I'm 29 years old, and I'm from Michigan. I'm recently engaged, which is helping me keep on track (for the most part) on trying to lose this weight. I'm attempting to get into weights, but think I'm going to stick to some bodyweight exercises for now. The weekends are the absolute hardest for me. Usually I have my long hike then (10+ miles), so it doesn't harm me as much as it could. This month, I'm working on bringing it under control, maybe with making Fridays at maintenance and Saturdays going over a bit more since those are my hiking days. Just gotta make the changes slowly.

Today, I did W1D3 of C25K. I've kept within my caloric limits. Tomorrow, I'm going to try and get up early to do an ab workout.

For the person who asked about shoes, as others have said, Brooks. I love my Brooks, and they are so worth the price. I also hike in Oboz boots, and turned one of my hiker friends onto them, and she took some of their lighter hiking boots and use them even for walking and working in.

To those who don't know me, I joined this group last month and found it very helpful in me staying on task.
I am a mom of 4, basically adult children. Youngest will be 18 in December.
Grandma of 5 grand daughters and 1 grand son.
I will be 50 in November and decided better late then never to get healthy. So as well as doing the weight-loss journey, I am currently working on quitting smoking. I haven't went a week yet without cheating so can't say I quit smoking yet.

Please feel free to friend me on here if you would like. I enjoy getting to know others on the same journey as me.

Exercise : nope - had a bonfire with 2 friends over tonight because I have to take advantage of the fairly warm weather before the snow flies.

Can I change my weigh in day? New weigh in day is Saturday.
CW 196 (please change this - I thought I was thinner...)

I worked hard all day for my job. Two friends came over and stayed 6 feet apart in the backyard with a outdoor heater and a bonfire going. I didn't exercise, but it was a lovely visit. Tomorrow will be better! My water intake was good, so there's that!

@lindamtuck2018 what part of Scotland were you going to. We live an hours drive from the border and going up to Scotland for the weekend for my husbands birthday. We are not allowed to see family or friends at the moment so need something to look forward to

I was going to St. Andrews! My calendar keeps giving me reminders of the flight.

My family live near there at Cupar. Hopefully you will get there soon

I just was taking to my daughter. They used to live in Cupar.

my uncle runs the local Plumb Centre and a few of my family work at the local Tesco supermarket. Small world

Hi my name is Darleen Turner and I did introduce myself last month but thought I would do it again for anyone new.

I am 52 and live in Northumberland, England.

I have been fighting with my weight since a very young age but as I have gotten older my health has declined and I have found it harder to regularly exercise. I have Fybromyalgia and Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

I work part-time and live at home with my disabled husband who for the last 10 years has had multiple operations for spinal issues. He is my second husband and his issues started 6 months after we go together but by then I was hooked. We had known each other for 10 years before and we married 6 years ago. I also have a 25 year old son who lives at home and has Fragile X Syndrome, who is an amazing young man.

I have another son who is 27 and lives just outside of London and works in London. I want to get the weight off for his wedding which is supposed to be next July. With everything so restricted here, we don't think it will be happening till 2022. Presently you can only have 15 people at a wedding including bride and groom and no reception after.

I love t9 travel and am always jetting off to somewhere new with my family or by myself.

I am determined to get this weight off and keep it off and love the encouragement in the group.

Yesterday was a good day all around. Got a ton of steps cleaning the house while the kids had friends over. They conned me into ice cream before our local Dairy Queen closes for the season. I tracked everything and still came in under which is exciting. Dinner tried a new recipe for Asian pork tenderloin from the new skinnytaste meal prep cookbook wear the leftovers get turned into ramen tonight.

Never heard house hippo ... it’s very fitting. We lost our sweet, 11 yr old pibble last month. She was my second pibble and I just love the breed. There is no sweeter dog. We have 2 other senior dogs and one of them will not adjust well to a new dog due to his declining health. But we will one day rescue another house hippo 🦛💗

@lindamtuck2018 - I’m sorry that you are missing your big trip. Just keep thinking about how fit and healthy you will be when things open back up to help with those binges.

You will get past the scale not cooperating. Don’t let it get to you. Maybe mMegan already asked you but your steps seem low for you. I am thinking it’s a typo.

That’s a great idea for a goal for me!

Weekends can be tough. I had a good system of averaging my calories over the week. This allowed me to eat a little more on the weekends. It worked really well when I wasn’t having binges. Great job on your exercise! Do you follow a particular ab routine?

    Monday’s check in
    Calories: over
Exercise: walked in 5 minute chunks total 15 minutes, walked 24 minutes
    Water: ✅
    Steps: 7,623
    DBF: 0

Just finished a FaceTime chat with my adorable granddaughter. She is one today! It was not the same as being there but I got to see her have her cake. I walked my other granddaughter to school today. It was a bit rough even with the dilaudid but I survived. I won’t do any 5 minute walks today as it was a 40 minute walk. I was slower than usual on the walk and I didn’t get any zone minutes on my Fitbit.

It is new recipe day today. Sweet garlic chicken and I can’t wait to try it. I did make pulled pork using a new sauce I made yesterday. I couldn’t bring myself to eat it as I am not a big pork fan. My husband did enjoy it. I ended up just having a salad. I know it is in my head but I only will eat ham and pork tenderloin. 😜

    Happy Tuesday!

    Goals for week
    1. Walk 5 minutes at 5 times daily
    2. No binge eating
    3. 70 ounces of water
    4. Try a new recipe every week
