I wore my sketcher hiking boots ... feet don't hurt but my more little toes have blisters on the top ....so I have decided to walk with Leslie Sansone until I can get thicker socks or different shoes ... I am not enjoying my walks due to foot pain /blisters ......We almost got attack by a dog this morning ...it kept lounging and barking at us ... at one point I thought it was going to bite my daughter or my husky ...taking a break from walking outside1

I am sad today. 😢 I should have been leaving for my trip to Scotland for my granddaughters 1st birthday today. I ended up eating my feelings and binged last night. The good thing is I got a voucher for my plane tickets and will be travelling there as soon as COVID-19 slows down or we get a vaccine.
I have 3/5 of my 5 minute walks done. I took pain medication about 15 minutes ago so I am going to try and go for a short walk. It’s stopped raining, it’s cool outside and sunny. Perfect walking weather!
I am up slightly after the weekend. We had a fairly high sodium supper last night and being over in calories for 3 nights contributed to this. I am going to have to be tight with my eating for the rest of the week to be under my calorie average this week.
I'm so sorry that you missed out on your grandbaby's 1st. I understand the emotional binge, I do it too. I give you so much respect for getting your walks in with so much leg pain, it's so hard to push through pain, so be proud of each and every time you get past it.
I had a bad eating weekend. This week I a trying to pull in my calories a bit to compensate for my over indulgences, but going forward I really need to try to control my diet and stick to plan over the weekends, it's so hard.
Hope you and everyone have a solid start to the week!1 -

My goal was to do a week of 'clean eating' but it is already busted. I was running late this morning and grabbed a package of tuna for lunch. Who would imagine that there would be sugar, xanthan gum, citrus fiber, yeast extract, and maltose in tuna?
I guess I'll try again tomorrow.
There’s always tomorrow. You can clean eat for the rest of the day. I hope it goes well for you!1 -
Awesome job for week 5!1 -

I find the weekends harder because my granddaughters are usually over for at least one night. They always convince me to get them treats. I guess that is what a Grandmother does. Lately my husband has been buying all kinds of junk. When I started bagging the groceries this week somehow he had slipped past me brownies, ice cream, chocolate bars and mini lemon cakes. I am putting my foot down and that junk is not coming into the house every week. 😂 Too tempting! I know it would be much easier to stick to the plan on the weekends and have more calories during the week. There is always this weekend.1 -

I would like to know, for those with more weight on, what kind of shoes do you use for sport? And to walk long distance?0

Hello!
I'm Jen, 50 yrs old, three amazing adult children and two adorable grand babies with one on the way I have two silly rescued pit bulls and volunteer with several rescues in the area. I love all animals and nature. My kids call me a hippy dippy lol. I live on the coast in Virginia and love gardening, running, biking, lifting weights and yoga. And of course being on/in the water:)
Looking forward to making this journey with you all! I started in October at 224 pounds and am down to 162.4 as of now. Let's do this!6 -

I swear by my Brooks. I paid a lot for them but it made walking much easier.1 -

I keep losing and gaining the same 0.5 - 0.75 pounds. I am going to trust the process and keep on task but I am so close to the 20lb mark and getting frustrated. I decided to go back to posting my daily goals to keep me more accountable.2 -
@lindamtuck2018 - I’m sorry that you are missing your big trip. Just keep thinking about how fit and healthy you will be when things open back up to help with those binges.1

I wear Brooks too... I like the Launch and Levitate, but I just bought a pair of New Balance Fuel Cell Propel for a lot less and they are very supportive and awesome!
