I did not get a full-time position I interviewed for two weeks ago with my current workplace (same library system, different branch), and a dear family friend passed away last night at age 100. With my waking up at 4:30am, it has been a long Friday.1 -

That’s all you can do. I’m in the same boat. Slowly creeping back up. And not only thanksgiving coming up it’s my birthday soon too. And my twin sister has been staying with me (she’s moved to NC from NY and living with me until she gets her own place). This will be the first time in years we spent our actual birthday together.

Hi everyone. I was in contact with a COVID-19 case last week and have been in isolation all week -and I don’t have a scale at home-hence carrying over my weight. Was swabbed last evening but I don’t have any symptoms so I should be good to go soon -but of course it’s my birthday tomorrow. I’m not one to celebrate anyway, but we ordered a 4 person thanksgiving meal from a restaurant in town so I will be celebrating with all of you from Canada.

The kids just made a decision that they won't be coming for Thanksgiving. I appreciate their decision but boy...... I will miss them. Thanksgiving is the one holiday that everyone gets together. We have two birthdays and had planned on celebrating a third one. I know that my concentration on healthy eating goes down when I am stressed.2 -
