Good evening, Friends!
As I predicted, this morning's Heather Robertson workout was a sweat sesh! A crazy 50 minute Cardio & Abs HIIT combo. But I'm glad I did it.
A late start to the day, but then straight to work. A home baked potato with bacon and grated mozzarella for lunch being the only interruption.
We're having red lentil dahl and cauliflower for supper, then some reading 📚 and then bed.

@MandiSaysHey I've been in the same boat - thank you for revealing yourself. It's hard to share when I'm in a low place but then I remember that my difficulties won't injure you and vice versa. So, share away! We can reclaim the day.

I'm back! Thank you all for your wishes and encouragement - it turned out to be a bit harder than predicted, but I'm home again now. I got home Wednesday afternoon but had to go back into hospital Wednesday night after a bad bleeding episode, and I was there most of the day today. Things are looking better - the crazy bandaging fairies got creative and managed to get things under control. I might have to go back for a second drain but at the moment things seem all right. I'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed. I sure ate some crazy hospital food today though - I was so hungry I would have eaten the pillowcases, so I put up with it! Tonight I got to make my own supper with lots of veggies so now I'm ready to just float away to sleep land after a very very long night last night.
I'll just post the heads up and get back to everyone tomorrow!

Today it was pouring here the whole day. I forgot to wear my Fitbit for the entire morning. I am really hungry tonight and have already had an ice cream sandwich. Pretty sure my problem is not enough water or protein today. Not many steps, but I did make marbled paper with my granddaughter today using shaving cream and paint. It was so cool.

I don't feel like I have managed to claw back my loss from last week, had a bit of a blow out weekend (nothing horrendous) but the scales showed a gain again on Monday which I havent been able to rectify this week. I have been eating within limits, but maybe need to refocus a bit and prioritise protein and water. Feeling anxious about my weigh in tomorrow!4 -

This is an average for the week that I am going to try to use to be more stable. I'm not sure who else does that but my weight this week has fluctuated from 159.0 to 156.4. My weight this morning on the scale was 156.4lbs! Which is the lowest I have seen it in years - so YEAH! To get a good idea of where I really am and not focus totally on the scale results each day I am going to use an average each week. But I still excited to see the results this AM

Happy Friday y’all!!! It’s a long weekend for us bankers whooo hoooo!!!! I am sooo excited to have an extra day off! Hope you all have a great weekend as well!! And a happy Valentine’s.. my anniversary is Monday and we are going to an Italian restaurant I have been peeking at the menu to try to figure out how to indulge but not by too much.. however it’s Italian there ain’t NO healthy Italian 🤣 but it is SOOO good to have on a special day such as my husband putting up with me for all this time (FYI it’s only our 3rd anniversary butt I’m sure it feels like our 20th to him 🤣) ok well that is all folks. I have done enough Friday morning rambling it’s off to work I go.6 -

@Steph1498 - I'm like you in that I weigh every day (after my shower) and I take an average for the weekly weigh-in. But for the past two days, I've been weighing in a couple of pounds higher than I'd like. Probably the muscle that I am gaining during this month's workouts.
@jugar - so good to hear that you're out of hospital. Hoping that you continue to heal without further incident.
This morning's workout was a Pilates Fusion from Heather Robertson. Wish my balance was better! Anyway, I'm so glad that it's Friday - seems to have been a really long week, for some reason. Long but productive!
Last week I started a new house project, but I've hardly done anything this week. I plan to do some more of that this weekend.

I'm tired but feeling OK today - and since I have instructions to SIT on the thing so that the drain works well, I get to sit here and read all the messages and enjoy the news from everyone. I think I need to learn how to make the marbled paper @micki48 - it is so beautiful!

Happy Anniversary coming up! You go to that Italian restaurant and enjoy yourself Third year - that is great! I wish you many, many more years of happiness and all the other stuff that goes with it. I recently found an old Valentine's greeting from my (not usually very romantic) taller half - from way back when. It was very funny and sweet. We'll be enjoying our usual quiet time just the 2 of us at home, but it feels great for both of us to have found the person who will put up with the other. We're hitting 31 this year

Good for you for trying out the weekly average thing. I think it works really well if your weight fluctuates a lot. It makes it a lot easier to see if the trend is going in the right direction and helps relieve the weigh-in day panic if you hit a high that day. It's ok to keep doing the weekly thing even if this happens, of course, because the trend will always become apparent, but the average can be a good way to have it in perspective quickly. And bravo on the lowest number you have seen in a while! Well done

It's a pretty chilly day here today but I got another 1.5 miles in on my lunch break. Up to 13/22 miles ran in Feb. I was so jazzed to send all my teams my emails today, letting them know I am out of the office all next week. Nobody email me, I will not be around!! I will be hiking in the snow and watching rom-coms with my mom.
I do hope the vacation doesn't throw off my weight loss, as I think I am on track for a good loss by Tues. We are celebrating my brother's birthday tomorrow by making chicken souvlaki for dinner. I think if I skip the pita bread, it will be pretty healthy. But, there will be a cake. Luckily, I signed up for a 90 min Zoom workout class + self-love chat for "Galentine's Day" tomorrow as well. That can offset the cake! And since I will be in a rural area, my daily runs and walks start off steeply uphill. Let the thigh burn commence!

I didn't get back here earlier today - but I'm feeling quite a bit better. I was really tired most of the day, but for some weird reason, I'm feeling more energy tonight. My blood pressure must be getting back up to where it belongs!

Hi all! Quick check in. 15 minutes of Pilates this am. Did well with my steps. Logging was sloppy. Water could be better. Feeling a bit cruddy right now. I don’t know what’s up. About to go get some mint tea. Hopefully that will help.

Today I was over calories but I did get a one hour workout in. I have been working on my macros and getting more protein in. I just end up with too many carbs! I will keep at it.6 -

I think last weeks weigh in must have been an anomoly as no matter how hard Ive tried this week I haven't gotten below 149.7, and my weight the week before was 151, so I judt dont think I truly got down to 148. Maybe my scales were playing with me. Its been such a disheartening week and Im so sorry that Im adding a gain!!3 -
