I ended up taking a rest day yesterday. I was feeling a little tired and off after the vaccine on Monday - nothing big deal but I decided to let my body focus on MAKING ANTIBODIES!! pretty excited about that.

This week has been a struggle. Long, busy days at work not leaving my computer mean no steps. Winter returning for a few days doesn't help. Expecting almost 2" of rain between today and tomorrow. π I thought April was supposed to bring the rain. π€·ββοΈ

Yesterday was all set for a perfect day and then hubby tempted me with a marshmallow egg at bedtime and I ATE IT and went over calories by 33. I really ate it slowly and mindfully though, new thing for me, and discovered it wasn't really all that great. So it will be easier to say no next time.
I had a great checkup with my new PCP and she said my weight was fine for my age and BP and other stuff looked good. Somehow that made me feel better about my body, and now I feel better about being committed to getting healthier. The mind is a weird thing. When I am feeling in opposition to my body, it is harder for me to be motivated to make healthy improvements.
