    @megan_smartiepants1970 when was the last time you replaced your calibration solution? I haven't used a monitor in a while but used to have to recalibrate mine several times a year. Maybe , take it to the pharmacy and have them check it? Hope you recover quickly and comfortably.

    @icfa5317 hugs to you and hope your daughter is feeling better.

    @lindamtuck2018 great job on all the green check marks. Wishing you a successful appointment with your dietician and better sleep.

    Steps 15,856

    Big step day and I didn’t even workout. Did a neighborhood walk with friend and short dog walk then a 10 min stretching video.the kids had a virtual pto fundraiser of pizza bingo. I was determined not to eat pizza but I did try the cheesy garlic bread so I am not such how much a success that was. I did have my planned healthy leftovers and completed day 3 no sugary snacks.

    @Tazaria87 I'm very excited to see your pictures - I always find pictures VERY motivating

    Does anyone else have pictures to share? I've seen some significant weight losses on the weigh-in posts and if you feel like sharing - I always like to see them. It encourages me a lot

    @lindamtuck2018 Is it my imagination or do you have pep in your step now that you are sleeping? Hope so!
    @Bluetail6 Ugh - I don't like to hear that tickets are starting to cost more - I should have purchased tickets for the future. I'm sure coming from Alaska is a pretty penny. What a nice time to head to the southwest! Hope you find the house in good shape.
    @Megan_smartiepants1970 Ouch, ouch, ouch. I'm sure it is hard on you to not be able to take your long walks and I bet your dogs are snuggled right next to you, concerned. Can you tell yet if anything is better?

    @icfa5317 - I got the wrong name - I know you are not new to the team, and I am also hoping your daughter is recovering.
    @lmf1012 Glad you are here!

    Things that make me mad - why does Kale have calories?? It doesn't taste good at all (to me) and although it has a lot of vitamins, it is sure hard for me to spend my calories on it!

    Welcome Back!!! So glad you’re back 👏👏👏

    @rlaskey2
    Wow! That’s an impressive step day🎉🎉 especially with that not being the goal.
    Now that’s self- control not partaking in the pizza night. A bit of cheesy bread was a great compromise. You are proof that planning out your meals work- you having your healthy meal. Awesome dedication to no sugar DAY 3🥳🎉🎉🎉

    @363days
    YES!!!! I agree! I gave up on kale. Not a fan. At all. More power to everyone who not only eats it, but enjoys it. That’s not me though. Sticking with the veggies that I enjoy- my favorite right now are those cute, mini bell peppers. Wash the whole lot from Costco and then I snack on four of five of them throughout the day (crunch and sweet).

    Thanks for the warm welcome!! Also, have you tried Baby Kale? Regular kale does not taste good to me either, mainly due to its very rough texture.

    To me, eating kale seems too much like chewing on wood😝

    Weigh Day Thursday
    CW: 228.4
    PW: 224.8
    I'm still paying for my last weekend of indulgence.
    This weekend is now an unexpected trip out of town that could easily turn into lots of eating out and little exercise.

    Hi beautiful people! Quick stop here to post my step and my weight!
    Tuesday I had my appointment with the diëtist and that went bad!!!
    She gave me a worse diet with less calories (less than a 1000 calories, insane). Only one piece of fruit a day, only once veggies... Real bad. I ended completely crazy after the appointment. I feel really bad because I´m putting all the effort I can and I feel unheard. And paying a shiit lot of money for it.
    Anyways; I´m doing quite good with my steps and quite bad with the scale. But someone told me that my body is thinking I´m starving and therefore it produces fats and everything...

    Daily Post April 28
    Tracked Yes
    Under Calorie Yes
    Water 104oz
    Steps 9206
    Exercise 45min jogging/walking on treadmill

    Not much to report! Did some house cleaning in the morning. My nieces were here for the afternoon/early evening. My husband made red curry with butternut squash for dinner, that was fantastic. He needed to get some extra work done last night anyway (he's a computer programmer) so I saved my workout for the evening and used the treadmill after putting the kids to bed. It ended up being a 20min jog with a walking warm up and cool down. Felt great.

    Today my nieces are here again. My brother had to go into work on his day off so he called for some help with his girls. They are napping now and I just got the lawn mowed. It's almost time to go pick up my son from school. Have a great day!

    Your units for measuring blood glucose is different here in Canada. What is normal with your units? Here you aim for your A1C to be below 6 and with my meter my fasting should be below 7.

    Awesome steps! I would call it successful.

    @363days
    I will post some at the beginning of the May challenge. I just got to get Garry to take a picture. I do have one that was taken last year and I was at the same weight as I am now so I might use that. I hope after a few more nights sleep I will be back to myself. I don’t have much get up and go.

    Will get to rest of posts after supper.
