    @Cornanda Awww, boo! I wanted to see your fur baby in his donut bed! We still had fun on our night out but yes, we can (and will!) try again. I hope you got your plants potted.

    @laurelfit57 Yeah, we have been recluses for the past year so it WAS nice to get out. The mediocre food didn't spoil things too badly, it was still fun! The weather was really nice, it is a little colder today: high of the mid-60s. It sounds like you had a good day yesterday. Do you mountain bike or ride on the streets? A picnic in the park sounds wonderful. I love to do that. I'm sorry your losses are small, hopefully, when you start biking again, it will kick them up. Congrats on the numbers going down! WTG!

    @eahrenee Those are some great NSVs, I would focus on all of your NSVs. I like to keep track of my NSVs so that when I am struggling, I can look back at those and it makes me feel better/see progress. I keep my NSVs in two places: in a journal and also in a Google Docs document so I can access it anywhere. I hope you are feeling better now.

    @TeresaW1020 Two different IT guys came to my office to work on my setup yesterday. I think they made progress. We'll see today! I super want to sit on your porch with you and drink a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! :) I hope you can get it ready so you can sit out there. That's a beautiful puzzle and looks challenging, congrats on not giving up!

    @TwistedSassette Sorry about your body being vengeful. I hope the supplements help. It does sound like you did some wonderful self-care yesterday.

    @raleighgirl09 I'm glad your job is going so well. That's great you are scheduling breaks and walks. Keep taking care of you!

    @raleighgirl09 Glad to see you Maria!

    @TeresaW1020 That's a gorgeous puzzle! Do you save them or break them up and put them away? I hope you feel better soon.

    @eahrenee Way to go on feeling stronger for 5X5 and on fitting in the clothes, that's such an amazing feeling!

    @TwistedSassette I love that you're doing yoga and meditation, I've let that go recently and need to get back to it. What do you take for inflammation? I take a lot of supplements but can't say they've made much a difference. I need to reevaluate soon.

    @AustinRuadhain Honestly I think it's what your state of mind is when you're doing yardwork as far as if it's self-care. If I'm gardening and I'm in tune with nature, how great the sun feels, and basically in the moment I think it's self-care. If I'm overthinking everything in my life it's probably not!

    Check-in
    I'm still here, I'm hurting from Sunday so I took it easy yesterday and didn't do a lot outside, just my workout then things around the house and picked up more potting mix. I managed to get 15lb weights off Facebook marketplace which are perfect for a few arm exercises the 20lbs are a little too much for, my arms definitely weakened not going to the gym. I'm getting my hair colored in a few hours so I need to work out and water, I started a bunch of basil for the food bank garden at home and need to water that and all my other stuff. My boyfriend and I had it out but he just goes back to acting like nothing happened afterward which is what my mom did growing up. He's not the type to go to therapy or get in touch with feelings, he grew up in foster care (had a great foster mom though) and is pretty rough around the edges but he's a good guy overall. He made a lot of effort yesterday so I'll see how it goes over the next week. I was looking at succulent arrangements and I was thinking if I could get him interested he may enjoy that as he's a graphic artist. I wanted him to make the cats a catio but I don't think that's going to happen. I pulled up a bunch of oak tree saplings and a teacher came by and picked them up to give to her students on Arbor Day. We just got a quote on the huge oak tree and smaller ones for a couple thousand dollars, if I have to spend a couple hours digging up all their babies to avoid that it's worth it! I rent from my parents so I don't have to pay for it but still, I don't want any more trees hogging up the sunlight!

    Have a beautiful Tuesday, think of what an amazing person you are and take time to smell the flowers!

    @TwistedSassette My smart scale is a Renpho as well and I love it. It was $60 CAD on Amazon and arrived in 2 days. The ones in the stores here were more expensive and had less features.

    Love the Toddler pics. It's so fun that we get to watch him grow up.

    @Katmary71 after reading your post I have the song "I'm Going to Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair" stuck in my head. Enjoy your hair appointment. Maybe they have a shampoo that will take care of the boyfriend.

    @laurelfit57 I just got my bike out too. Hubby made a few adjustments so I can sit up straighter and take some pressure off my arms and shoulders. I've missed riding it.

    @raleighgirl09 I HATE logging. I stopped a while back too and it felt like a huge weight was lifted. Not logging is my reward for eating healthy and not gaining weight.

    I do write my meals, exercise, sleep, etc in a journal but don't stress if I miss a day. I put little hearts beside exercise or anything else I'm proud of as my own personal little pat on the back

    I got my first Covid shot yesterday. Since most people don't want AstraZenica they aren't administering them at the government sites but we can get one at our local pharmacy long before we qualify for the others. Seems a little sketchy but I thought I'd rather take my chances with blood clots than Covid. So far all I have is a really sore arm. Hopefully that's the worst of it.

    Phew I barely squeaked into the green. I lost 1.2 lbs this week which was enough to cover the difference between my old and new scale. I'm going to start using my weekly average since my weight is so erratic with IF

    @TwistedSassette Your life sounds very nice in your small town. Maybe someone will realize the childcare need and open up a nice business for themselves. Take care of that foot of yours! I hope the supplements can help with the inflammation. :)

    @raleighgirl09 Is your new job going to stay this crazy or is this a temporary thing until you get more people to help? If it’s the way of the job then I hope you won’t experience burnout with that kind of stress pulling at you all the time. It’s good that you are at least getting in the walks. Keep your lunches healthy so you can fuel your brain! As you know I am very interested in your maintenance experiment and I’m rooting for you all the way that you will find a way to eat, enjoy, and NOT track it! :)

    @trooworld Well, if you ever take a trip to GA there will be a porch and beverage of your choice waiting! <3 Fingers crossed that between two IT guys they knew what to do.

    @Katmary71 I don’t save my puzzles. I take a picture and then tear them down. I have three piles at the moment. One for those I will do again, those that go to Goodwill, and those that I might try to sell. This one is something I would consider selling. That is great that you found 15 lb. weights! Yeah, we had to have a tree removed and it is very pricy. :#

    @Jactop That is great that you got your first shot. I’m still waiting to go get my second one. There is a lot of merit to taking the average for your weight. I’ve been thinking of switching to that approach too. I use the Happy Scale app and it does the average for me. When I look back at the last several Fridays, which are my weigh-in day the number for the average is lower every time than the Friday morning number is. Hmm? :|

    Hi Team! Well, I’m finally feeling better today. I only took meds this morning and I even sort of did a workout. The first program I turned on was a yoga flex workout and that felt great. Then I thought I would do the next one which was cardio, but I didn’t make it past the warmup and realized that was too much for me. :grin: I did go grocery shopping and came home and cleaned the kitchen. The countertop gets removed tomorrow afternoon, so I had to remove everything on top and underneath the cabinets. It going to be a bit of a pain to not have a working kitchen but hopefully so worth it in the end. I will be posting pics! :)

    @AustinRuadhain I love the Snoopy pic :smiley:

    @raleighgirl09 I love that you are looking at the long-term when it comes to eating habits. You're right, we need to work towards a more intuitive way of eating, especially when we get to a healthy weight range. Portions are sometimes tricky!

    @Katmary71 After I had my son, I suffered terribly from DeQuervain's tenosinovitis, which is also known as "mommy thumb" (and "texter's thumb" I think) - basically there was inflammation in my wrists which constricted the tendons and nerves, causing a whole lot of pain whenever I needed to use my thumbs which is, of course, all the time. The only "treatment" apart from surgery is complete rest (wearing a brace etc.) - which of course is not possible when you have a newborn to care for! Around the same time, my mum was taking some supplements for her arthritis and they were helping a lot. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I gave them a try and to my surprise I got almost instant relief. I took them for a few months and then tried coming off them but the inflammation and pain returned, so I stayed on for a few months longer and tried again, this time it was fine and I haven't had an issue with my wrists or thumbs since. The two supplements were red krill oil, and glucosamine chondroitin + turmeric. I really have no idea what they do, but it did help me before so I will try them again!
    Sorry that you're still hurting, but glad that you were able to get some stuff done. I hope the haircut turns out nice!! Sorry about the argument with your boyfriend, men can be so difficult sometimes. But hopefully this opens the door to some communication going forward that may help.

    @Jactop Thank you, I love sharing pics of the toddler! Amazing job with your loss covering the difference in scale calibration!
    I had the Astrazeneca shot too, and had only very minor side effects, just a few body aches and tiredness over the few days afterward. I heard that the clotting issue is worse if you get the actual virus - something like you're 8 times more likely to get blood clots from the virus than from the vaccine. Our problem here in Australia is that we only ordered a small amount of Pfizer and we're producing Astrazeneca on shore, so it's much more readily available but now they don't want to give it to anyone under 50. I'm not sure if they will be able to get more Pfizer or where that leaves us on our rollout schedule!

    @TeresaW1020 I'm glad to hear you're on the mend! How exciting for the new countertops! We had our kitchen completely remodelled last year - it took them about a week and a half to do it so we struggled without a working kitchen for that time! We set the microwave and coffee machine up in the games room so we at least had that but no oven or cooktop. To make it worse, at that point I was working from home so I had to go and work at my sister's house instead and she looked after the toddler while I worked. It was a hectic couple of weeks! But totally worth it. Can't wait to see the new countertops!
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Well, I did not rein it in yesterday as intended. There was a morning tea for a colleague's birthday and I snacked too much. Then my parents were visiting so we ordered Chinese for dinner and I ate too much again. I wish I knew how to stop myself in the moment! I have all these notions about reducing portions etc. but instead of serving myself up a portion, I ate it from the container and polished off the lot. The last week has been terrible, and the scale is definitely showing that. The only positive is that I did (attempt to) track everything so I am accountable for it. I can do better than this, I know it!
    @Jactop I'm primarily maintaining the good habits surrounding food choices and being very mindful of portions. I tend to want to eat a larger dinner than I need and then have snacks before bedtime. I've learned so much from calorie counting and logging food - and now I want to apply those lessons to behaviors that are not logging-dependant. I can't do the all or nothing of "if I don't log it, I can just eat whatever I want" type of actions.
    Changing behavior without depedancy on something else - behavior for behavior's sake. It's a theory - will keep you all posted!
    Wednesday check in
    Good morning! It sems MFP had an update and these forums are improved! Anyone else notice anything....?
    I had a pretty good good day yesterday but tipped the balance with a snack after dinner that was not needed - making the after dinner snack urge a focus today. It's ok if I'm tuly hungry but I wasn't. Choice wise, it was not bad at around 150 calories of a few cheese cuts and Triscuits. Nothing terrible but the reality is, I didn't need the food and that energy will be stored on my body until I use it in place of taking in more energy. I need my reasonable morning voice to pipe up when I'm making night decisions!!
    @TwistedSassette - it's so true, the portions are tricky! I can't trust my eyes on what's enough so I'm working to portion out what appears to be too little without being a toddler portion. Although, I'm sure the toddler portion is more reasonable for some foods..... :smiley:
    @TeresaW1020 the job is likely to stay crazed to some degree - and I love the work and responsibility so I have to work on managing it without letting it make me insane or unkind to my desire for good life habits (exercise, sleep, good food choices, lowered stress). I AGREE - I have found that a good lunch is actually pretty key to my day! Especially if I can prepare a hot lunch that feels very filling and satisfying... :smile: Hey - what a gorgeous puzzle!
    @trooworld and @Katmary71 - thanks so much, it's good to pop in and I'm happy to see myself making the effort!
    @Katmary71 I'm glad you are taking it easy. I'm sorry about the boyfriend drama, that's good he made effort. That would be awesome for your cats to have a catio, I love those!
    @Jactop That's great you got your COVID shot. I hope you don't experience any side effects besides the sore arm. Congrats on the loss!
    @TeresaW1020 Thank you! I would love that. ;) I talked to one of the IT guys again yesterday about something and he suggested restarting my router. That seemed to help. I'm glad you are feeling better. It will be worth it, I can't wait for you to post the pics!
    @TwistedSassette I have the same problem, stopping myself in the moment. I'm not sure what the solution is? Practice maybe. Maybe making it a rule: no eating from containers. That's good that you tracked everything.
    Hi all. I'm really enjoying the challenge this week, which is all about self-care. I'm finding I am doing new things/things that I don't normally do so I can meet the challenge. For instance, this morning, I started my day with a big glass of water instead of reaching immediately for the coffee (don't worry, I did reach for the coffee after that lol. I'm not a crazy woman! ;) ). My knee is bothering me this morning so I may do some stretching or yoga.
    I’ve been more diligent lately and working on reducing the late night damage meals/snacks.
    After reading lots on the matter, I splurged on a new scale, a smart one and it’s coming Friday. It’s been forever since I got anything for myself and I’m so excited. I love data and this should be my new toy😁.
    I love this week’s challenge - self care is always slipping through cracks and this is a great reminder.
    As a result I’m exploring the local park more and even dusted some books I got a while back. One in particular I need to read and digest: “Mindless Eating- Why We Eat More than We Think” by Brian Wansink. When I’m done, I’ll let you know how it went (with bullets).
    @TwistedSassette A birthday and Chinese! That would have me overeating for sure as well. The good news is that you did track it so you own it and now you can move on and do better for the rest of the week. :)
    @raleighgirl09 I agree that it can be hard to cut the snacking. For me, it becomes a habit and not about me being really hungry. It’s actually something I’m really trying to focus on lately. Yup, you love your job and that is awesome. Now you just have to make it work in your life and not take your life over. ;)
    @trooworld I’m glad that you are enjoying the self-care challenge. I made the challenge and haven’t even tried to do it, which was not my original intention. I’m blaming the cold and not my laziness!! :grin: Take care of that knee!!
    @19shmoo69 HaHa!! I’m offering up my belly fat too! :D
    @GabiV125 Have fun with your new scale!! I’m glad that you are doing the self-care challenge. Yes, please let us know about the Mindless Eating book. That is one that I’ve so often struggled with. :#
    Hi Team! It’s been a pretty good day. My cold is better, so I was able to do a workout this morning. I went to see the contact specialist today and she gave me multi-focus contacts to try out. The good news is that I see great far away, but now I can’t read anything up close. She said I could wear readers but why would I want to do that? She also said that we can try other options, so I will call her on Monday. I just want to see all the things!! The countertops are out and I am so excited for tomorrow!! :grin:
    @raleighgirl09 I don't know about those toddler portions...you haven't seen how much my little guy can eat! Sometimes he eats more than me lol. I just wish I got the growth spurts that he gets as a result...
    @trooworld No eating from containers, sounds like a good rule lol. Will see how that works!
    @TeresaW1020 I'm glad you're feeling much better. Sounds like your new contacts aren't multi-focal enough lol - hopefully you can find a good solution so you don't have to wear readers.
    My day started well yesterday. But I ate cookies in the afternoon and had a can of soft drink with dinner. Basically ate at maintenance level for the day, which is not as bad as it could have been. I did eat a smaller dinner as I wasn't really hungry but knew I would be by morning. My parents stayed again so no exercise again. I need to get better at this!
    On the bright side, a bunch of water weight dropped off again. It's crazy seeing the daily fluctuations at the moment - they're not usually this big!
    I've not had enough sleep this week and I'm really feeling it. I'm so tired, my brain is fuzzy in the mornings, I feel like I have no energy. Today is my last day of work for the week so I'm hoping for a nice sleep in tomorrow.
    Thursday check in (will do the weigh in this evening!)
    Yesterday was a good day for getting two walks and food choices and portions were reasonable. Like @TwistedSassette I am fluctuating, I have had losses every day this week, somewhere about 3.5 pounds. While that's good, I feel like it's water weight so I shouldn't get too attached to the absence of all of those pounds....some of them may come a knockin' in the next week! :D Part of my reasonable approach has been in avoiding sodium in the way I ususally do when I'm logging the foods; I think I'm seeing that pay off.
    I'm glad I didn't ditch the no logging idea as soon as it got hard (again), I feel I just need to give it the same effort I gave logging. I know calories inside out and I know when enough becomes too much - I know these things from years of doing it and being successful and getting to a point of wanting to lose 15 pounds instead of 100 or 50. Last time I tried this, I gave it up as soon as it seemed hard and I went back to what I knew. That worked well - it usually does if I am true to it.
    Have a wonderful day - and if someone figures out where I can dump off my fat burned offering, lemme know, will ya????????????? B)
    @19shmoo69 AMEN!!!
    @GabiV125 That's great that you are working on reducing the late-night stuff. What is helping you to do this? Congrats on the new toy! That should be fun!
    @TeresaW1020 LOL...that's funny that you made it and aren't doing it but I understand. When I'm sick, I don't want to do anything! Yeah, that knee, that's a problem lol. I can't have it acting up on me. ;) Today's the day...good luck with the countertops! :D
    @TwistedSassette Good luck! Yes, you could have eaten way over your calories for the day so well done! I hope you get some good sleep.
    @raleighgirl09 I hope those pounds don't knock on your door wanting in lol. I'm trying to figure out something for my offering too haha.
    Hi all. Man, I am so bloated this morning. I've eaten entirely too much sodium and a little off track this week. It's not good. I'm going to try to drink a bunch of water today and see if it helps but I may be in trouble for tomorrow's weigh-in. Usually, we have one indulgent meal a week but my husband and I have already decided no indulgent meals next week. Time to get back on track.
    Check in weight (4/27):
    I wanted to let you all know, I do read everything everyone posts everyday .I am more of a lurker than a contributor even in real life.
    This month has been weird and very trying. My birthday was good, but started with sugar and the craving has not stopped. I seem to have gained an aversion to vegetables. Even the thought of a salad makes me nauseous. I'm not sure what is going on there, but I am going to have to try to just stay in calorie without them until it goes away. I am using it as an excuse to eat more of what I DO want to eat.
    I had a diagnostic mammogram and ultrasound yesterday. Everything has felt very uncomfortable, swollen, itchy, painful. They told me everything was fine (thank GOD). I am guessing that maybe it is hormones?. It is time for the dreaded menopause stuff to start. I am 48 now so........
    While I am unhappy with my weight trend, I will not give up even though I feel like I want to. I am committed to this process!
    Have a great weekend everyone :smiley:
    @TwistedSassette Girl, I ate cookies today too and now need to compensate with a smaller dinner. Why is it so hard to say no to tempting foods? I hope you get some rest this weekend! :)
    @raleighgirl09 Well I hope the weight doesn’t come knocking and that it will stay gone for good. It’s interesting that you have to watch sodium where I shoot it back like it’s a shot of tequila. :D That is because of the Keto though. If I don’t get enough salt I totally feel it in my body. Do you have any fun weekend plans? :)
    @trooworld I just wrote above to raleighgirl that how I have to take extra sodium when I’m sticking to my strict Keto. But when I was on WW I did have to watch my sodium. I think it has to do with carbs and how the body retains water with them. But I don’t know! The body is so weird. :)
    @leonadixon Lurking is totally fine! But I do like it when you post as well. <3 That is weird about the aversion to veggies. Is it all veggies and no matter how they are cooked? I find roasted vegetables to be the tastiest. I’m so glad that everything went well with the mammogram. I hope the uncomfortableness you are experiencing passes soon. I hit perimenopause when I turned 48 and the first couple of years weren’t the best but mostly manageable. And now I’m loving menopause so hopefully, it will be fine for you too. Just keep focusing on doing what works for your body and you will get the scale to move down again. :)
    Hi Team! Well, the countertops are in and they are so gorgeous!! The pictures don’t really show them off as well as they are in person. They are so sparkly, and I love how it brightens up my kitchen! Best decision EVER!!! <3 I went to work this morning and cleaned both buildings so now I don’t have to go in tomorrow, which will allow hubby and I to clean our porches from all the pollen and get them ready to enjoy again. My eating was pretty good except that I ate two chocolate chip cookies that were NOT on my plan. I really hope tomorrow’s weigh-in will not hold it against me. :#
    Wow! Your kitchen looks gorgeous, especially those lovely counters! 🤩 I am SO inspired!
    @Leonadixon
    Hugs as to the misbehaving hormones. 👐👐👐
    Salads can be challenging. Are there other ways to eat veggies that work better?
    If you want to work on it, you could try doing some of the things that moms do with kids -- grated zucchini and/or carrot added to the morning oatmeal, soups, things like that?
    @raleighgirl09
    Great that you had a good day. It is being super helpful and interesting to me to listen to you cogitate on the maintenance seesaw and doing what works. All of that being stuff I am working on! 👐 💖
    @TwistedSassette
    It's kinda great that your off day ended up as eating at maintenance. I hope that makes sense.
    @trooworld
    Stopping myself in the moment can be so hard.
    No eating from containers is a GREAT rule!
    I love all your self car adventures! And I do want to hear about the Mindless Eating book!
    Booyah to that great weigh-in!
    @KatMary71
    I love your pointing at mindset, at that making the difference between something bing work and something being self care.
    _ _ _ _ _ _ _
    Today went well. (Wednesday was, well, an off the ranch day. We'll see if I can make up for it by Monday's weigh-in. All I can do is get back on track.)
    ✔️I started the day with *writing out* my food plan.
    ✔️I stuck with it.
    ✔️I ate an early dinner to extend my fasting hours. @TeresaW1020 keeps reminding me of the value of that.
    ✔️I managed to do some self care yard work today.
    ✔️I got in my steps (8K) and about two hours of activity, including the yard work. I even managed to switch over to treadmill during a long Zoom class.
    I am about to go do my self care bath. I am so loving this challenge!
    Tomorrow's plan
    ⚪ Prelog my food again.
    ⚪ Early morning grocery shopping so I can eat on plan. I just moved this to AFTER getting that plan down, as the shopping trip needs to include walking past a couple of problem foods (things I would eat out of the container, @trooworld !)
    ⚪ Fill a yard waste bag
    ⚪ Exercise will be an evening walk with my husband
    @leonadixon - I feel your pain as I’m in full peri tornado (49yo). Apparently the sugar cravings can be a “symptom” as well😞. Out of the weird ones, I get vertigo, which annoys me to no end, because I win nauseous and cranky in a flash. If you want a good read about it check the thread “Is it Over Yet? “.
    Hurray for keeping at it, regardless of what yesterday looked like- we only fail if we give up, right?
    @trooworld - my evening eating is all emotional so here are my spring strategies to keep/bring my mind in one place:
    -I’m going for a walk at 6:30 and I keep walking until I’m no longer antsy, and when I start noticing smells and songs start popping in my head I know I’m done. If the dog is too loud and agitated, he only gets one loop and then I continue by myself.
    -I have 2 energetic neighbors and I told them to check with me when they want company on their walks and when they do, I never say no.
    -I started journaling 2 weeks ago. It sounds fancy and indulgent but basically I let the pen flow however it wants for a good 15 minutes or so every day. There’s no plan and no language is off the table, and once I close the cover, is like my vision improved.
    I guess it could have been easier to just do yoga
    @leonadixon Don't feel like you have to post but it's nice to hear from you when you do! Hopefully the aversion to vegetables goes away on its own. It's hard to make yourself eat what you do not want to eat. I'm glad the mammogram was okay. I started menopause a few years ago. It has not been fun. I had a gain this week, too, and I know it's disheartening but we have to keep fighting for health. I hope you have a better week next week.
    @TeresaW1020 Yes, the body IS weird and I'm really not happy with my body, or my mind, right now. :( Your countertops, I'm in love!!! Congrats on the loss!!!
    @AustinRuadhain I'm glad you had a good day yesterday.
    @davidj82 Great weigh-in!
    @GabiV125 Wow, that's a great plan! I hope it helps.
    Hi all. I'm so very angry at myself for this week's weigh-in. I'm disappointed in myself and angry. I know what needs to be done but this week was a total failure. I've already planned healthy meals for next week with no indulgent meal so next week, theoretically, should be better.
    My phrase for the year: CHANGE HAPPENS
    Happy Friday all. Posting a day early as my sons and I are heading out camping this evening. Might rain tomorrow during our camping trip but always a good opportunity to be in nature and get away from technology if only for a couple of days. Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.
    @leonadixon I know it's supposed to be a bad habit but I read or play Candy Crush when I'm eating foods I'm not thrilled with or if I'm eating a big salad. Salads seem to take so long to eat that I get bored if I don't have a distraction. You'd think that would be a good thing but not eating enough at mealtime doesn't stop me from wanting to eat junk later.
    @TeresaW1020 beautiful kitchen. I love how bright it is. Nice loss this week and glad you're feeling better. This is turning out to be a good week for you
    @trooworld we all backslide at some point but instead of being angry with yourself you should give yourself a pat on the back for recognizing that you had a tough week, limiting it to only 1 week and making plans for improvement moving forward.
    This wasn't my most active week but only had 1 zero day (the day after my vaccine). I managed to catch up on my workouts so I'm back on track to hit 150 workouts in 150 days.
    I talked myself into trying a longer fast yesterday but that went out the window when Hubby came home with pizza 😋. Thankfully the scale was down this morning.
    I picked up a new book from the library (The Cancer Code by Jason Fung) so I'm heading out to my front porch to read and ride. Hope everyone has a good weekend
    week 4 weigh in (Thursday 22Apr2021) late @broncobuddee
    Previous weight: 184.2
    Current weight: 182.9
    LTD (from 300 many years ago): 117.9
    Lost 2nd MFP Apr2019 from 235: 52.1
    Wow, just looked at my weight for the last year - it's within a couple pounds of today, from Apr2020. Was down to 167.1 in September but it was very short-lived and there has been some ups (obviously), downs and then back to about here. I have unceremoniously maintained my weight for about 7 months. A month or so ago I decided that rather than feel bad about not doing what has always worked (logging calories) I was going to work on maintaining this weight - and try to lose slowly by eating reasonably - watching portions and being mindful of caloric values and not taking in too much BUT not logging the exact foods and values. But no foods off-limits - unless I don't want them. I've been working on my continued redefinition of what I want, such as I don't want something because it doesn't support my goals. Not too different from what I have thought and written about in the past with the difference being I am not logging every bite. I don't know - we'll see what April of 2022 brings, right?
    Sorry I missed the check in this morning. Had some vein work done yesterday and was up in the night a few hours and then overslept. Whoops. Did eat a little in the night, after being awake for awhile - I had a small snack at about 200 calories - just enough snack that I could have had more but was able to decide not to. Vein work = vascular surgery...I am such a weenie but have a good doc. Still got a short walk today, made good food choices and watched portions - should drink more water, will work on that tomorrow.
