THE BREAD HAS RISEN... THE BREAD HAS RISEN...
BY GOLLY JEE, THE F'N BREAD HAS RISEN!!!!! 😀😀😀😁😁😋😂😆👍🤗🤗
So it turns out that the reason my bread went for a crap for like the last month it seems was the Yeast. And it just turned out the yeast we went and bought at the store a few weeks ago was DOA (Dead on Arrival)... Cause this third batch of Yeast just worked. I seriously was getting pretty PO'd with all the brick loaves.
Tomorrow we have breakfast with a gorgeous Toast.... FINALLY!!!
Sunday was great... I totally lazed around and slept entirely to much. I'm wondering now what kind of concoction of drugs will be required to allow me to sleep through the night. lol
Oh and we had a good friend over today... As in Ontario we can actually have a friend over now. It was Louise... We love Louise. She's the kind of person you meet, that at least for me, seems like she's my favorite cousin. She should be related somehow? And she gives the best hugs, and I'm all about big glorious HUGS.
That's about it... Sunday fast was so easy today, it's weird. It's 7:09 and i have yet to feel a moment of hunger today. 20 Straight weeks, and it's really become normal. Heck I don't even need to run to the toilet on monday mornings anymore. Whatever!
Missed all you guys today... Hope your Sundays were great!!!4 -

Yaoowzaaa! That's an incredible loss 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That's a tough one (for your NSV), we are always our own worst critics. I admire your resolve and determination to look up resources and strategies to keep you on your path. 🤗 Thank you, before reaching my goal weight I began listening to podcasts about maintenance We Only Look Thin, and Halfsize Me, to give me additional support and advice.
@lindamtuck2018
That's an impressive daily goal (later to be used as a NSV) 7,000 steps! Love that 🤩
Thank you, it's been so wonderful having him walk and TWO days in a row. Yes, I'm sure someone has me on video walking like a duck. Hello America's Funniest Videos.
Oooooohhhhhh wowwwww! Linda! 10,596 steps! Congratulations 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 That's amazing!
Your bbq salmon sounds delicious. Mmmm. I need to add that to the shopping list.

Had a great morning walk with my hubby. We were going to go for an evening walk, but it kept thundering and raining on and off, so... we decided to just stay in. I was supposed to meal plan today, I don't know where the day went- but I didn't get to meal planning. Busy day tomorrow.5 -

My step count was low because I deep cleaned my entire appartment. I didn't go for a walk I just got down to buisness. We lost most of our furniture when we moved and lots of home items that make your place feel like home. Over the past half a year I've been working hard to find us all the things we need furniture wise and so our place looks warm + inviting and I am nearly done with cleaning until I assemble, install and add the things I've been ordering. Between now and July 1st we will be getting a lot of things I've worked hard to find. I do love my walks but I want our home to be a real home my family can be proud of and host get togethers at. I don't just want to look and feel better my journey is about taking back my whole life piece by piece and elevating my family with me. Hopefully my steps end better today but it's been raining buckets so I'll have to get my steps from watching TV now that I'm done cleaning. I hope everyone's day has been as great as mine. 🙂7 -

So many steps out there.
Check in for 6/13:
Steps - 6591. Decent amount but I thought it would be more.
Calories - about 1750. Have to guess on the cake, but I spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out. Wound up cutting it into 6 pieces. To small for 8 pieces. Scrimped on dinner a bit to stay under.
Exercise - 1.1 mile walk this evening with daughter. Walked around a tourist trap in the morning. Where else can you spend 12 dollars on 6 small cookies.
I'm expecting a gain tomorrow but it's ok. It was good food. Also, I've lost 5 lbs in two days.7 -
15,209 today's steps
Ate within deficit
Drank 2 litters of water
I slept poorly last night so I'm really wiped out. It was still a good day even though I'm tired.6 -

I'll be done real quick.
I'm so stressed if I get a mini break I will write longer. Promised.

Hi all, here for Monday check in.
Nice to have a green week again and hit the milestone of 2.5 stone gone! (35.8lb). Saturday I was 221.8, yesterday 222.8 and now this number. I thought Saturday's weight was quite a drop that seemed a bit much to lose for me in a week, but can work towards those lower numbers in next few weeks for sure💪.
I had my first covid vaccine yesterday afternoon, thankfully only appearing to have mild after effect symptoms so far. Arm is quite sore and can't fully lift my arm up without pain so, weights etc is gonna be off the cards in next few days at least.
I had a large diet coke and mcflurry from McDonald's yesterday, first time that I had anything from there in over 6 months. I was proud of myself for not getting anything else.
We've got Father's day this week so I'm expecting to be having 'offplan' sweet treats towards the end of the week however.
Have a great week everyone!5 -

Monday morning and pouring rain...
Weigh in Day TODAY!
With the pouring rain, I wasn't quite feeling like going outside, but since I'm only 0.8 pounds away from 400 I'm close enough to the Operating Capacity of the elliptical, that I won't break it. So Elliptical time has come this morning. 😆
Elliptical is hard. lol. I only managed 10 minutes. My Fitbit did not work, as it read a steady 109 the entire time. Even though my heart was beating out of my chest and sweat was pouring off my head by the end. I'll have to fiddle with it and try different positions on my wrist. Kind of hard to relax my wrist when I'm holding onto the handles for dear life. Once I got off the elliptical and adjusted my fitbit and sat down, my heart rate shot up to 150+.
I figure I burned around 200 cals...?
It's suppose to rain again tomorrow, so I will likely be using it again. So I'd like to work on the following things.
Learn to pace myself better.
Extend my time by at least 5 minutes
Trying to get my fitbit to work better...
Other then that... With any luck, this will be the last week I'm officially over 400 pounds!!! WHoooo HOooooooo 😆😀😁💪🙂🤗
Have an amazing day everyone!!! 😎7 -
@Beautyofdreams
Great post! Overcoming fears and mental hang ups is so hard. Weight loss is not just about calories there is a big mental component. I am so glad you worked through it. After more than 2 years I am still working on this so your post really helped.
@rwood566
Glad you kept all your fingers. That is so scary to almost pass out. I hope you get answers soon. I hope I can be as strong as you on Tuesday and not eat everything.
@888Angie888
Great job on staying on track. Weekends are my Achilles heel.
@littleflutterby
Great week of stepping!
@Tazaria87
Holding babies is so nice. With a busy weekend like you had I think I would be going to bed myself after I put the kids to bed.
@rlaskey2
Awesome steps!

Temps hit 99 yesterday so glad I got out in the morning for my walk before it was too awful. I made myself go at 6am this morning for that very reason. Looks like early morning walks for the next few months as summers are brutal here.
Scale was so nice to me yesterday and then laughed at me today. I am skirting the normal/overweight line on the BMI scale and while it is not the greatest measure by far, I still want to get into the normal range.
@Poobah1972 nice loss this week and how exciting to be so close to getting under 400!! I am just thrilled for you!

Yay for your bread rising! Doesn’t it feel so good that there is a sliver of light after our long lockdown. I know I am excited for a backyard bbq with my kids and families this week. 20 weeks of Sunday fasts is amazing!
Fantastic loss this week.
@TheresaM787
There is a lot of green in your day. Well done! Three days in a row walking with your husband. You guys are on a roll.
@Beverly2Hansen
Your steps may be lower than usual but deep cleaning would burn a ton of calories. When we moved in January we brought hardly anything with us and started fresh. It is a slow process to make it home again. It sounds like you are a good decorator. Next days steps are fantastic.
@amymartin555
Great steps!
@rwood566
Great job staying within calories with a birthday celebration. Tourist traps are fun even if you spend too much on things.
@Z10Rtza
Nice loss!
@mszoueb
That’s so awesome you hit your milestone. Congrats on your COVID vaccine.
@Poobah1972
Fantastic loss! You are darn right the elliptical is hard. I am not coordinated enough to use it.

Check in for Sunday
✅Steps 7,153
❌Sleep 6 minutes short
✅Walk
Steps are higher than I thought. I guess shopping and a short walk did it. I have physio very soon. It was pouring when I got up but the sky seems to be clearing. I am walking to physio and I am going to attempt to walk to Tim Hortons after. Wish me luck! I am nervous about staying in control of my eating this week with celebrations. It’s been so long since we ate in a restaurant I will probably want to order the entire menu.
Happy Monday.

YES!!! You did it, you had a feeling it was the yeast. Great work bread detective. I'm so happy for you both. Enjoy that delicious warm bread. Hope you had a great visit with your friend.
CONGRATULATIONS on your terrific loss this week 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 that's huge! Oh yeah, the elliptical machine is a toughie. It takes time to learn how to pace yourself, develop your lungs. Slow and steady, yada yada, work your way up. Be careful, don't make me get Lynn after you 😆
@Beverly2Hansen
Amazing that you were able to get in over 4,200 steps while deep cleaning! You're a high stepping machine, sneaking in those extra steps without you realizing it 😆 Great day for you!! Lots of steps, deep cleaned, drank A LOT of water and you ate under your budget 👏🏻👏🏻
She's baaackkk, over 15,200 steps! Another stellar day hitting all of your mini goals! I'm sorry you slept poorly, hopefully tonight you sleep like a bear.
@amymartin555
Phenomenal step day Amy PLUS kettlebells AND ate under your budget 🙌🏻🙌🏻 You're doing amazing!
Congratulations on your loss Amy 🎉🎉 all of that work has been paying off!
@rwood566
Another huge stepper! Roger look at you 6,591 👏🏻👏🏻 You have some serious will power with that birthday cake for Mrs. Roger (that's her new name). I love how you ate a bit less of dinner to enjoy the cake, that's brilliant. Great morning walk - yes, the cookie people have overtaken the cupcake people here too. They are selling the Levain-style chocolate chip cookies for $4 each- insane! Oh, love the way you just snuck in at the end that you lost FIVE pounds over the past two days 🤣
@Z10Rtza
Tremendous step week for you!! I'm sorry you've been so busy and feeling stressed. Hoping all of that walking helps you 🤗
@mszoueb
CONGRATULATIONS on your overall phenomenal loss👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! I'm so happy for you 🤗 Well done, only getting the drink at McD's. You're doing incredible 🙌🏻
@lmf1012
Another spectacular step day for you!! I'm super impressed by your extremely high steps, but also by you starting your walk at 6AM 🤩 99 degrees sounds brutal, I'm glad you found a way to get in walks - even if it is at an indecent hour to be walking 🤣. Scales are just terrible inventions, one day they bring joy and another they bring the desire to take a hammer to it.
@lindamtuck2018
Linda! Another over 7,000 day 👏🏻👏🏻 7,153 🎉🎉 You're doing incredible! You crack me up, six minutes short on sleep. You hit that sleep goal in my book. Good luck with physio and your walks. Enjoy your first restaurant since the pandemic. You got this!!

Steps for 13/6

So I finished work and had supper, and i was just full of beans. Then I saw the group challenge on the main page (the 70k steps in a week challenge) and I thought "you know what, Tanya, go for a walk" So I did!
There's a nice walk- 4.25km ish around my area and it was a lovely evening.
So I use "Map My Walk" and after every mile it tells you what your split pace per KM it is. After the first mile, my split pace was 10min 55sec per KM. and I thought "noice, that's the fastest I've ever been" but then came the uphill struggle (literally, it's a pretty steep incline for a while). Anyway after the 2nd mile, I was over the worst of it, and its mostly downhill.
Well, "she" (the timer woman lol) said "split pace, 11 minutes, 1 second" I said "oh like hell you are" and just bombed it home! haha. I was all red-faced and sweaty by the end of it- but finished with an average of 10min 44 seconds per km!
I was looking back at my previous times of doing this and I actually shaved off 6 minutes and 45 seconds from the first time I did it about 6 months ago! So I am really happy
Anyway, just wanted to share that lol. Back to my studies now. Have a great day all!!8 -

Happy Monday!🍀🍀🍀2 -
hi all. happy monday. i'm hoping everyone enjoyed their weekend.
i only gained 1.8 lbs yesterday. that was expected since i had a late dinner, late dessert with lots of sugar and an early bed. went to bed on a full tummy. got up expecting to hit the gym but daughter wasn't feeling well. so i went on a walk. i had to burn off a lot of sugar calories. 6.18 miles in 2 hours 1 minute, according to google maps. fitbit said 5.74 miles. we all know fitbits conspire with our scales to keep us fat. so far i have 12,725 steps.5
