    I think maintaining while waiting for your appointment is very good. It would be so easy to just stop being careful with your diet until the appointment and gain weight. Your bbq sounds amazing. Not just the food but getting together with others. I know I said this before but reading about your guys get togethers gives me hope that it will soon be happening here in Ontario.

    Keep the faith - hopefully it won't be too much longer. People are social creatures and it's amazing how much of a toll the long-term inability to be around others we care about can impact your outlook on life. The USA has pretty much moved to the 'mask optional, if you've been vaccinated' approach everywhere except being at medical facilities and public transportation and it's been surreal to not be wearing a mask anymore. Being mask-less, out in public at first came with a sense of both guilt and fear and I have to admit we're still getting used to it but it really is wonderful to get together with family and friends again in a safe manner and I hope everyone that wants to be vaccinated is given the chance to do so soon.

    I got a question for you guys today. I think I'm going to move Bicep Curls to back day today... Cause between the Low Rows and the Lat Pulldowns, I'm pretty sure both also use a good portion of Biceps (as I could feel my biceps Tuesday/Wednesday after back day)... So, if I move Curls to today, and then I can Add Lateral Raises for my Deltoids to Chest/Triceps day?

    I'm not sure what the current best practices are now but back in the 'old days' the recommendation was to split the major muscle groups over different days and include complementary smaller muscle groups. For example combine Chest and Triceps one day and do Back and Biceps the next, etc. I used to include shoulders in my Chest days but if you find that you can't maintain the intensity you want you could always mix shoulders in with your leg day. Just remember to have at least one rest day for muscles to recover (so don't work your shoulders after a heavy chest day). Now that being said, that was the 'old school' approach so you may want to see if modern thinking recommends something different but at the end of the day, listen to your body.

    UPDATE - I just saw your later post after I wrote this so glad to see you found out the same thing. I used to work the major muscles first on the respective days followed by the smaller groups for the same reason (they're already warmed up). Good luck!

    Good Morning Guys and Gals! 🌞

    It's Two Thumbs Tuesday!!! Get your arses out of bed and shake that booty. 😆😋

    It's a non-lifting day so just some cardio this morning. I didn't take an Aleve last night before bed, and yeah turns out it was the Aleve the day before that made my walk painless from the start yesterday. This morning the ole aches and pains were back, but were largely gone by the time a half a lap was completed. 👍

    Nothing to eventful this morning... Rest was meh, but fairly adequate. After lifting last night, then supper, and MFP update, I pretty much went straight to bed not much after 8pm 🤓. Woke up in the middle of the night, and tossed and turned for about an hour, and eventually fell back to sleep, whereas my fiancé was pretty well up for the next 3 hours MoooohahahAHAHAHHAh.

    Walk was good, did another 6 laps this morning... Hopefully it becomes second nature soon, I'm not completely made up I want to do 6 laps, so it's all a Matter of Will over Matter, and that's 2 matters to 1 will so I better find some more will soon. 🤔 😅 😋

    Oh, I haven't been posting my blood tests lately.. But I still do them, and can be found in my food journal notes if anyone was ever interested. Today's tests look good.

    Blood Ketones 2.3
    Blood Glucose 106
    GKI 2.56

    And with that I bid you guys and gals a fantastic day! Love yourself, and let yourself be loved! 💖

    Nope. Sadly not even my kids wanted to go for a walk. I had a feeling that they would prefer to stay with their cousins.

    @Beverly2Hansen
    Another incredibly high step day 👏🏻👏🏻 way to go! Great work staying under your calorie goal and drinking all of that water. You're doing amazing!

    @Poobah1972
    It's amazing how the body regenerates itself, with the aches dissipating by the time you got to the half lap mark. Congrats on doing six laps! It sounds like your matters are winning out, it looks like your habits are forming- HA, you are a six lapper!

    I'm going to finish draining this cup of coffee, and then get outside for a quick walk (the cousins don't like staying quiet, I have a feeling they are going to wake up my littles again too early). Have a great day everyone!

    CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THE STEPPERS! Over 3.3 Million Steps and Growing 🎉🎉🎉

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 I would like to join the step challenge with a goal of 10k. Could you remind me what is easier for you - do you like for us to post steps daily, or weekly?

    Great stepping for the day. I can’t wait to start swimming again. Which stroke do you do when swimming laps?

    @beverely2hansen
    Great day! For some reason I tend to drink most of my water in the evening. I end up with a bunch of extra steps running back and forth to the bathroom after I go to bed. Sloshing is good.

    @roz0810
    Nice stepping! I am going to try and add you to my Fitbit today.

    @Z10Rtza
    Nice loss! How are you enjoying the strength training?

    @Poobah1972
    *kitten* is out of bed and the ritual of waking myself with coffee has begun. With walking I find it’s a habit you have to work on just like any other. You are doing very well with walking. Those 6 laps will become natural to you after a while. Then on to 7. Maybe your heart rate was still high and you were moving around the house could be why Fitbit picked it up as a longer walk. 🤷‍♀️

    @363days
    Welcome back!

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    You will be on top of the leaderboard before you know it!

    I am hoping to beat 3.90 miles today :) Okay we are off to our walk :)

    A little more movement yesterday and did my boxing workout. Knees don’t feel too cranky yet. After 4 gray cold rainy days it was starting to affect my mood. Thank god for a little sun this am. Eating was decent yesterday but not perfect. 🤞for loss tomorrow!

    We are on our second week of rain - the temperature has dropped 15-20 degrees - I hear ya!! Sunshine makes all of the difference for me.

    Good Morning Amazing Downsizers ... Yes I am up before the sun .... I want to get out there early to go for our walk .... My daughter has classes today at 9am so we are about to go on our walk :) I had so much energy yesterday it felt great ... no headache and no naps ...it is amazing what happens when you don't eat convenient food and a bunch of crap :) Steps yesterday was 14,230 :)

    I love that motivation to get up early to go for your walk. That’s so fabulous that the headaches and tiredness went away once you went back to your Keto and routine. Absolutely amazing high steps!

    @363days
    Congratulations on your soon to be here granddaughter 💐
