You know why is it that I can bend over backwards for everyone else, but when it comes to myself, I give myself every excuse in the book?
I haven’t been doing my daily posts because I kept forgetting and by the time I’d remember it’s in the middle of the week and I get the thought “oh well might as well not even do it.”
Lately I’ve been half way logging. Id log parts of my day but not the full day.
I know once I get into a routine I will start feeling better. It’s making the first step that’s the hardest.
I do miss talking to you all! I need to stop pulling away when I get discouraged and come on here! 💗
I hope everyone is having a good month so far!3 -

Every morning, in the bathroom mirror, I want you to look into your eyes, and tell yourself that You are worth it!! You deserve to have a good life, and you deserve to be healthy. Why would you make excuses for all of that?
I need to stop pulling away when I get discouraged and come on here! 💗
Yes. And don't you find that the feeling of discouragement disappears as soon as you do come on here? I know I do.

@ashleymullo6195 I hope your "day off" allowed you to clear your mind and de-stress and that you were able to refocus your efforts on Monday!! Yes, four or five days until your weigh-in; there is still time to post a loss!!1 -
So, I am "back" from my busy weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it!
Friday's farewell lunch at work was good, and I didn't overdo it, and I did get a lot done in the afternoon.
Saturday was an absolutely beautiful day for an outdoor wedding ceremony! And the reception was fun too because, for the first time in a long time, I didn't have to be the designated driver! We live about four blocks away from the venue, so we were walking, and I allowed myself to have a few drinks (and a few shots with the mother of the groom!)
Sunday was the all the birthdays (my husband, his brother, and his brother's mother-in-law) and we had lunch outside at the restaurant and it was another absolutely gorgeous day!! Followed by the family gathering, and cake and ice cream....it was just lovely!
So, today I have not exercised, but I have (so far) made great food choices. Three weeks tomorrow we get on a plane for the Czech Republic to go visit our son and to meet his girlfriend and her parents, too. I can't "get skinny" in three weeks, but I can get to feeling a little less puffy and a little more positive!4 -
@HASWLRS
I am so glad you enjoyed your weekend of events. That's crazy that all those birthdays are on the same day.
That is so awesome that you are going on a trip to see your son. I'm so excited for you. Not that getting to see your son and meeting his girlfriend isn't fantastic enough, is there anything else in particular you are looking forward to seeing/doing while you are there?1 -

I have the tendency to do all the same things. So, I understand. This week I am going to work hard to log everything, every day even if it hurts to see all the bad choices I've made.2 -

@brandi_84 Being on old European city, just walking around and taking in the architecture of Old Town will be one of the highlights. Charles Bridge and Prague Palace are also pretty famous landmarks. There are museums that highlight the communism and KGB influences of the past. From a food point of view, we will be sampling ethnic dishes whenever possible and, not than I am a beer drinker, but the Czech Republic is known for its beer! Then, my son's girlfriend is from Slovakia and in that country is a beautiful mountain range known as the Tatras which we will be hiking.0 -
Awesome job this past week, congrats to Mary and everyone else putting in a great effort.2

@kristiekay1962 Well done, Kristie!! Down 1.6 for the week, 3.4 for the month (so far) and out of the 90's and into the 80's!! You must be doing a little happy dance right about now!!3 -
Yay!! Of course, some self-sabotage setting in as I have slipped a little this week. Great weighin and then I 'reward' myself. So the circle continues...also been fighting a head cold that is lingering. Still have time before the next one so hopefully no damage done on the scale. Getting back on track today.4

The night off worked back to wanting to just smash it now even more so than before I had a night off, sometimes its just needed so you can go harder next time even more, I definitely won't have a break for at least untill halloween maybe so I can get the pounds off quicker and stay off for longer don't want to keep going back and fourth,3 -

Hi 👋🏽 hope everyone is well!😊👍
I have not been logging in, but I have been been doing my daily workouts and sort of watching my food intake.
My monthly tends to make me binge before I get it where I also always feel bloated.
We are at Alert level 3 now and so I am also getting back into work which is great! 😁
Determined to lose more this week! 👍
Keep it up team, even if you feel like giving up, reflect, rethink, reset🙌3 -

Better day yesterday. I have to be good the rest of the week because next week I'm going on a week long camping quilting retreat. There's always WAY too many temptations on the snack table at those things. Coupled with the fact that I won't have access to my home gym it'll be a double whammy!1
