I kind of gave up last week, I felt really defeated. My daughter went to the store ( with my husband) and filled our fridge with fresh produce. She has been taking the initiative to make our lunches and reminding me everything I have taught her about balanced meals. She also uses her Japanese cookbook which promotes balanced meals. She likes to make Bento boxes. I'm really proud of her for wanting to eat healthy and reminding me to practice what I teach.
Eating well has made my body feel much better (specifically my digestive system) which makes me want to work harder toward my goals.

So, I am having a super busy weekend, and I realize it is the first of its kind for all of 2021!
Yesterday morning, I had a mani/pedi first thing and then I went to work for another farewell lunch for an employee that is moving on to another job. This is the fourth one since June. It sounds bad, but it really isn't; We actually had too many employees after our merger with another farm supply operation, so this helps the bottom line. I spent the rest of the day there getting caught up on filing. Today we have a wedding for the son of a good friend (and a good customer) of my husband's. Tomorrow is my husband's birthday, his brother's birthday (two years younger but born on the same day) and his brother's mother-in-law's birthday, so the whole family is going our for lunch and then back for cake and ice cream.
