Disappointed, but my digestive system seems to still be out of whack after Monday’s procedure. I’ve got to resist the urge to binge on junk food. Unfortunately I allowed some into the house this week and it has been tempting me.
We finally had our first cool snap of fall so I’m looking forward to heating up the kitchen again with our fall favorites.6 -

A little disappointed but I’ll take it. 🙂4 -

I don't think I could handle stalling out for weeks on end. I really don't think I could! The first week when I don't lose 2 pounds (and it could be THIS week, as I have been so tired I haven't exercised much) is going to be traumatic enough for me! Kudos to you folks who stick with it, when the scales show no progress. I honestly think that I would have got discouraged and wept into a pint of (vegan cherry/chocolate chunk) ice cream (at about 250 cal/half cup or something scary like that)). Sorry, too many brackets (as usual).

I wanted to get below 150 during the month of September. I did it, now I have to keep going in the right direction. This group has been so helpful and encouraging.

I'm doing okay. Need to go to bed earlier. So happy it's finally fall. Another thing I need to do is track. That lacked this week. I went about 2 weeks without soda. Switched over to Polar seltzer water. My biggest concern is if I drink soda again especially Pepsi or Sunkist, that I will binge on it. Those two things are ADDICTING. Ran out of seltzer at work and ended up having a Sprite. It wasn't so bad. Still not going to chance it. Another thing I'm doing is getting my Halloween costume ready. SOOOOOOOOOOO excited about that. This year I was actually able to buy one from Spirit Halloween. They actually had one my size!!!!!!
Still drinking my water and watching my junk food intake at work. Did very well this week. Keeping simple goals since my main goal has been reached. (Got out of the 280s)
Oh one last thing, does anyone have any suggestions for dinner? We love pasta and spaghetti but I'm getting tired of it. It's so simple to make. Thanks.4 -
Sooo… I forgot my scales in Georgia. I’ll be carrying over this week4

Happy Sunday, everyone! How was everyone’s weekend?
It was a gorgeous sunny day today and I was able to go on a little walk. We also did some furniture shuffling to make room for the baby crib next to our bed. Other than that, it’s been mostly napping and eating - lately it feels like the umbilical cord has extended all the way to my throat and the baby is stealing everything I eat without giving me a chance to get some of it. First week of maternity leave went by pretty fast, and I had something besides the naps and snacks to keep me busy every day. The upcoming week looks similar, with some plans almost every day. Less than one month to go until my due date!7 -

Welcome to the Shrinking Assets team @joburns69 and @BuddhaBunnyFTW!
Just let us know if you have any questions about the Shrinking Assets team or the overall Fit2Fat group. I’ve found this team chat area - and the Fit2Fat group’s weekly challenges - very helpful in reaching my nutrition and fitness goals. The ‘Habit Tracker’ has been a great daily reminder to help me stay on track, too.
There’s no pressure to use every tool available to us so just jump in wherever it feels most comfortable to you. As they say, ‘even a journey of a thousand miles begins with a first step.’ I’m just working on one step at a time and glad to be on this journey with such a wonderful group of Shrinking Assets teammates. Thanks, everyone!2 -

I'm starting a maintenance week today. I've set my goal to losing a half pound a week to give my body a bit of a break before I enter the next phase. I'm thrilled with my progress so far.6 -

Have you tried drinking 100% cranberry juice - it works wonders to get rid of water retention and good for you
Trader Joe's sell it for $3.99 large bottle. I love it. All you need is 2 oz in a 8 oz glass of water
I just love your comments, brings a smile to my face in the weird world we are living in today2 -
Can you leave me out for October - I am still dealing with my issues - serious gas. Some days are good, then I would have a day where is unbearable. If I take Gas-X, the problem goes away, but I cannot keep doing so for the rest of the my days
A friend told me that she had the same problem, drinking mint tea 30 minutes before eating really helped.
She also suggested drinking green tea. I will be giving it a try, otherwise I am thinking of having an MRI of my stomach - not looking forward to that - all kind of thoughts are going to my mind.
Anyway well done everyone4 -
