Good morning, all. We are going to see my daughter perform in a play this morning. She is touring the state with a theatre troupe as they were funded to do this play about the history of the CWA (Country Women's Association). It's called "Not Just Tea and Scones". Here's a publicity picture of a scene from the play. My daughter has a blue head scarf on.

We got to have dinner with her last night. I love seeing her as she lives 1695kms from me. Visits are few! Please pray for her safety as she travels home by air this afternoon.

Later today we have a Vet appointment for Jasper who has something wrong with his bottom. I am concerned for him
He developed this problem over the weekend and this was the first appointment we could get.

Linda, I am glad you have an ice machine and are not pushing yourself to go to church. The swelling takes time to go down. Praying for your complete healing. Yes, church was lively yesterday and I even felt up to playing glute fir the service. We had a short business meeting too that we stayed for.

Judith I am sorry you have to go.back on that cream. January is awhile away. Hopefully they will stop the use of the cream if you get too sore and if they see it isn't working. There have been many break through with cancer treatment recently, I believe. I hope one of them helps you. It must be hard for Drs to stay up to date with new developments but it is so important for you to have them know...hugs!

Barb, Marilyn, JC and Sandi, you are all on my mind and in my prayers.

    Love you all too.

Linda, it was so good to see you on here today. My prayers continue as you are recovering and healing. Glad you can watch your service online. Have a good evening and May your week go well.

Yes Linda I am back on the treatment again. In 6 weeks I’m back to see my Oncologist to see how my face and lips are responding and they will check my blood to be sure the Liver and enzymes are alright. Trusting God for His Protection! I am feeling it tonight and have an appointment tomorrow so will call it a night.

    Good Night Everyone…😴🙏🤗😇

Barb - safe travels today as you return home. We are expecting a cold front with rain to come through Wednesday. I hope the front stays stable and crosses over your area to give you rain. We will be picking all our leftover vegetables from the garden before that happens. The tomatoes that are too small to ripen will become fried green tomatoes for me. Yum!

We have the gas fireplace going today. Having the ice machine cooling my hip every 20 minutes for 20 minutes also makes me cold. It does help with the pain and swelling so I am not complaining.

Judith - did you get your ramp fixed yet?

Susan - how is Jasper doing? I added him to my prayer list.

    We are home.
I have the Bible study tomorrow. Looking forward to it.
Trying to get some gray pants as I’m off, as it’s our son’s bday so he’s taking the day off so many stores do not have my size. So I may have to pass. I like to try them on so rather not order them.
Warm again tomorrow. Then I’ll get rain & cold temps.
I may call the electric company about yard too. So sad the way all ripped up due to dryness & big trucks.

Prayers for healing, Judith ramp built, & her mouth plus Linda.
How are you Susan & Colin doing?
    How are you Marilyn ?

Thank you Susan, Barb and Linda for Praying for me and asking after my ramps built. The answer is no. All I can say it’s all in a mess. I have to go thru head office as the ramps were here when I took my place on and everyone is basically passing the buck saying not my problem. Not sure what I am going to do but for sure I leave it in the Hands of God!

Welcome back Barb. Glad you enjoyed your visit with your family. Hope you enjoy your Bible Bible tomorrow.

Susan so sorry to hear about Jasper, my prayers are with him.

Linda, glad you have the fireplace to keep warm as you use ice for the swelling and pain. I can understand you would be cold.

I had my appointment today and back to Surgeon tomorrow.

Will update you on weekend. My prayers are with you all. Good Night & God Bless! 😴🙏🤗😇

Good afternoon, all. I am here a bit later as Colin was having a cortisone injection into his torn shoulder this morning. I'm praying it will help him with that part of his pain. He needed me to take over driving, then we finished a number of errands we had to do. He and the dogs are sleeping now. The poor guy has a headache from his neck joint degeneration as well as pain from his still broken tailbone. It must be so hard to always be in pain, and the high pain makes his blood sugars go high too. It's not a good combination at all. Thank you for praying for Colin.

Jasper, my youngest dog, has a burst anal gland and has been in pain with it since Saturday. He is on medication now and hopefully will healI truly hope something can be done . It looks like he will need regular monthly visits to the Vet as his gland will not function normally after this. The Vet could not say how it happened or much about what to do for it. The Vet nurses suggested I give him mashed cooked pumpkin a few times a week to help with fibre intake. I have to take him back to the Vet this Friday to see if he needs to be anaesthetised and have the area flushed out. Thank you for praying for our dog, too.

Judith, that is terrible about the ramps. Does your insurance company or church have any suggestions? I hope something can be done for your health and safety! You would think the landlord would want you to be able to get out in the event of fire. Will keep you in my prayers about the ramps and about the medical appointments coming up.

Barb, welcome home. Your photos are great. I saw your granddaughter has an Australian t-shirt on! I hope you find some Gray pants. Happy birthday to your son.

Linda, glad the ice therapy is helping and know it is necessary. I kind of wish you were going into summer instead of winter so you could stay warm. The fire is helping for sure, but it would not be a comfortable thing to have to do at all. I'm praying for you.

Thank you all for your prayers for us.

Archie and I are holding the Fort!

So sorry about no ramp? Is there away they can get that for you asap? Praying so. Plus seeing Dr & surgeon.

Linda continued prayers for healing in God’s time. Guess you will have some cold as I’m to get it Thursday. Prayers

Susan so sorry for jasper. Prayers for vet too. Ai am also praying for Colin too.
    Are you all better Susan

Had Bible study today. So I’ve got some reading & questions to answer.
I have misplaced a library book & I cannot find it. I finished the book last night I thought I put it by my purse but it wasn’t there when i remembered it. Which was after the Bible study. So I am asking God to, help, me find it.
Well that’s about my day. Tomorrow I watch Mariposa & Thursday too.
Please keep praying for Hong Hong with diabetes while pregnant. They like her to take a class but there is no one I know who eats as healthy as Hong Hong. She eats so much more healthy than Americans. Lots of veggies I never heard of & lots of fish.
Oh well c section scheduled. 12/6.
    Prayers for all.

We had a huge rain storm during the night and it was windy and colder today. More rain was predicted but it never happened. Muscle spasms kept me awake during some of the night but a friend who gets up really early (5am) texted me so we had a nice conversation that took my mind off the spasms for an hour. I did take some medication and got to sleep at 7am and slept most of the morning. I am glad because I know how important sleep is to the healing process. Pain at night seems worse when there are no other things to distract. The pain is getting less so I am glad for that. I do not blame my muscles for wanting to spasm. My thigh and down to the bottom of my knee is pretty bruised and sore to the touch.

Judith - Does Canada have a department in the government that looks out for right of people who have disabilities? I hope you do because they need to intervene with your needs. It is a safety risk for you to not have multiple exits to your outside in case of fire or other problems. That is just my opinion.

Susan - you do sound very busy. I hope that Jasper gets to be feeling better soon.

Susan, so sorry to hear about Jasper’s burst annul gland, poor Jasper, I am so sorry to hear this report. I hope something can be done to bring healing and recovery. I am praying for him that Pain will be minimal and for a speedy recovery. I hope the cortisone injection helps Colin, praying for Colin too. Hope you get your card kits done and your classes are all good. You said you had a rehearsal, is this for your Christmas concert?

Barb, praying for Hong Kong that the remainder of her pregnancy will go well. Praying her diabetes will stay under control and for her c-section in December for a healthy baby and a healthy Mom. Enjoy your time with Mariposa. Hope you find your library book!

Linda, sorry about your rain and wind storm and it being colder there. So sorry about your spasms during the night, they are so painful. It was so nice you were able to text with a friend who gets up early to help you take your mind of it. Glad you were able to sleep most of the morning. You are right sleep and rest does help the body to heal!

Linda, Susan and Barb, thank you for your concerns over the ramps and my safety; just last night I had a passing thought that I feel it was from God as I was thinking of getting in touch with my MLA; Member of Parliament and tell him my situation and see if he can help. I will contact my Community Health Unit also as I think they can help also. So Linda when you mentioned wondering if there was someone in Government in Canada who could help you were being nudged by God. Actually everyone’s comments were all nudged by God! We serve a Mighty God!

Thank you all! It’s my Bedtime now! Good Night 😴 everyone, God Bless! 🙏🤗😇

Judith, that's so good that you have a couple of avenues to try and maybe get your ramps restored! You definitely need them. Praying for them to be returned to you swiftly.

Jasper is still not himself but seems a little better. We return to the Vet tomorrow for the next part of his treatment. I clipped away some matted fur yesterday to make him more comfortable and he was very protective of that area which made it hard to do.

Colin hasn't had any relief from his cortisone shot but they said to give it awhile. He had Physio yesterday and they can"t work on his shoulder till 2 weeks out from the injection.

I still have Asthma as lots of trees are in bloom right now including one just over my back fence that drops little spikey blossoms into my yard. The blosdoms then dry into powder which floats on the air. The bronchitis and sinusitis has settled down a lot but Asthma seems to be hard to shake.

This is the tree over my back wall:

    puq6r0bkzmou.jpg

It isn't mine to remove and management won't. It will bloom another few weeks.

The practice yesterday was for the storybook play we're putting on Feb 1st.

Barb, praying for Hong Kong and the new baby. Wow, she only has about 5 weeks to go! Enjoy Mariposa's company.

Linda, I feel for you with your hip replacement. I am glad your friend called you last night. You are right to sleep when you can.

Card class is today so I am getting the table ready for them all.

Susan - I feel so sorry for Jasper. He does not understand that what you are doing to him is supposed to help. I pray he heals quickly with a minimal amount of pain.

i had therapy today which was a little tiring. She told me to stop wearing my support hoes because it keeps the lymph system from draining away edema. i also need to massage my leg. She was very informative.

Susan, thank you for sharing the picture of the Tree that the Blooms are falling over your fence. So sorry nothing can be done about the tree. I feel for you having to endure the asthma and sinusitis from the affects of these blooms that are causing the symptoms to worsen! And I am so sorry Jasper is going through so much with the burst annul gland, it’s hard when they don’t understand that you trying to help him by removing some of his fur near the area, of course he would be protective while you were near the area that is making him “hurt” so bad. Praying he will recover quickly. Sorry that Colin is enduring so much pain; hope he gets relief soon and the cortisone injection helps. Thanks for letting me know what rehearsal you were practicing for. Sounds so interesting to do a Storybook Play in February! I will look forward to hearing all about it and maybe some pictures of the practices you do. I am praying for you, Colin and Jasper. It’s good that you and Archie are holding down the Fort as you said.

Linda, sorry you are so tired from your physiotherapy you had today. Has it helped alleviate some of the pain? I realize you were told to stop wearing the support hose but thinking of what they do I would think it helps cushion the area and help with the pain that movement causes, however I hadn’t thought about them keeping the lymph system from draining away the edema, but it does make sense thinking about how support hose could be restrictive!

Praying 🙏 for Marilyn, Hong Kong with only 5 weeks to delivery, Sandi, JC and all our Members! Love and Prayers for you all! 🙏🤗😇

Tomorrow I’m back to Cancer Clinic early morning appointment, good thing I am home early afternoon, time for a rest then I’m posting Novembers Team Monthly Challenges (Goals) for us. Wow, October went by so fast!

Hi. Hong Hong, has 5 weeks Friday so a bit more than 5 weeks. It’s due to heredity that she gets gestational, diabetes her last trimester. She eats so healthy & sweets are too sweet. They make her drink sugar water; which she doesn’t like so that maybe why her sugar count was high.
Oh we got your rain Linda. Haven’t seen it for long time. Then cooler temps as it’s been in the 70’s* before 7:00 AM.
I got a smell test tomorrow at a hospital for a Covid study then watching 🦋.
Still looking for library book. At least it’s a paperback. I’ve never lost a book before but have no way where it is. So I keep praying to find it.

    Judith
I hope that the MLA can help too. Prayers.
Plus for wisdom with your doctors too.

    Susan
So sorry about the spring with everything in bloom bothering you Susan. Does Zyrtec or anything help you? Prayers. We got everything falling here.

    Prayers for all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

October is almost over. This seems like a quick month in my head but logically it is the same 31 days as usual. Maybe it is because I have slept away some of the days since surgery. Tonight children will be out asking for candy but we will not participate. I think it is odd that if the saying were truly 'trick or treat' these children would be threatening the homeowner if they do not give out treats. Maybe in the earlier days of our country it was true. Glenn's grandma used to make the kids come inside and do a trick for her before she gave out candy. Does Canada or Australia have Halloween activities?

Barb - Both my daughter and I have had gestational diabetes when pregnant. Being pregnant with all the extra hormones and activities necessary for keeping another life prospering is hard work. I pray for the next 5 weeks of Hong Hong's pregnancy to be stable.

Judith - Praying things go well at the cancer clinic. I am excited to see that your weight has been up for several days now. What ever you are doing, keep it up!

Susan - I'm sorry that the tree that is so beautiful could be so worry some for those of you that have health issues.

Glenn pulled up all the beets and carrots from the garden so I am looking forward to beet leaf greens tonight. The beet roots on the bottom are not very big due to the really hot weather we had during the summer and them not getting watered properly when we were gone to Denver. At least the leaves will be delicious.

    Happy Halloween. 🎃
Well we finally got rain a bit over 1”. So nice. Rain is in the forecast this weekend & Monday. They say up to 4” maybe.
I am hoping where the trucks tires tore up grass the grass is a bit green & brown maybe like sod. Though I add grass seed too. So with prayers it grows.
May watch Evan who is almost 2 & has a fever tomorrow. Harry will help too with watching Mariposa. I will have lunch with my prayer partner. Plus I have craft morning at church.
I added more mulch on my roses so all ready So now I have a few annual pots to empty. I Amy out the dirt on some bulb’s sticking up in the ground.

Prayers Judith especially with the surgeons and wisdom for all the drs treating you. Praying. For them & you as you have suffered & lived so long with it all.

Yes be interesting to hear how other countries celebrate Halloween.

Prayers for all the crazy weather. Spain with flooding, & Taiwan had a typhoon today.

Linda. Praying for healing. Great you have slept lots that’s when we heal. Praying. Healing takes time. So you pleat beet leaves. I never nerd of that. Sounds interesting. we had a dry hot summer & September-October.
God is in control which I tell myself a lot during the day.

Susan. Prayers for you all. Hope the allergies with spring isn’t too bad for you.

Hello all. It's November here already and in a few hours it will be November for you all, too. Halloween is a bit of a non event in our retirement Village. There are no children here so no trick or treaters. It has become an occasion to celebrate here only in recent years, and Aussies seem to embrace more if the horror side of things, so costumes are all about blood and gore usually, or general creepiness. I miss seeing the cute fairies and princesses, or kids dressed as what they want to do in life (drs, firemen etc). That's how we used to dress in the US when I was a kid decade's ago. It seems more satanic here. That said, the Village did hold a Halloween dinner and fund-raiser where people dressed up in costume. That was last week.

Yes, sometimes I take allergy meds but they tend to rev me up, so I just usually battle through without them.

Our rehearsals take place in our Club House. Here is Colin being one of the 7 Dwarves while the rest of the cast waits their turn to get up and do their parts. Colin is to the left.

    zprhva9plcuv.jpg

There are no costumes etc yet. We read our lines and go through the motions though.

Jasper went to the Vet this morning and he is greatly improved, but we are not out of the woods yet. He will continue to take antibiotics and steroids and he has to go back to the Vet next week. I am adding Psyllium husk to both dog's food each day from now on.

Please pray for safe travels for Colin. He is flying to Cairns tomorrow to look after our 2 granddaughters and their 2 dogs for 10 days because their folks have work commitments out of town. He still couldn't drive up due to his pain. I wanted to go too but have to stay here with our dogs. It will be my turn next time. The girls are 11 and 9 and pretty self sufficient. Colin will just need to be around and supervise them, take them to school and pick them up. I will miss him but the girls are looking forward to having their Poppy take care of them. I expect lots of video chats with them in the next 10 days!

    Evening Hello Everyone.

I was at my appointment today at the cancer clinic. It wasn’t the best of appointments but I will push through. I saw my Neurologist and the report came forth saying due to so many surgeries and procedures for the cancer I have severe Nerve Damage. This is causing numbness in the right arm and side of my neck and jaw. They feel I should have injections to the spine and neck. This is being suggested to hopefully stop any further deterioration of the nerves in the spine. The Specialist would be an Oncology Neurosurgeon not for surgery but for injections to the Spine, I would be in the CT Scanner and the neurosurgeon would be guided to correct place to do the injection. I am still seeing the Specialist regarding Laser surgery on the face and lips.I leave it all with the Lord, He knows what’s best for me.

Linda, my prayers are with you for your ongoing recovery. Hope you enjoy your Beet Leaves, I grew up with Beets and eating Beet Leaves, so delicious, I loved mine with yummy butter 🧈 probably too much but ever so good. Here in Canada we have Halloween but I don’t celebrate it. Some of the Churches have an alternative and made it a safe Bible Themed event, kids would have games to play and dress up as Bible Characters. They were given candy and they had snacks during the evening.

Barb, I continue to keep Hong Kong in prayer for a safe delivery and healthy baby. Thanks for your prayers.

I am happy I came up in weight and today weigh 94.2 pounds. Trusting I will come up more.

I posted an announcement for our Coming new Team Daily Challenges (Goals) for November and will post our Daily Devotions, Bible Reading and Commentary Thoughts, Weight Loss and Maintenance Threads for November before I sign
    out!

Hope you will join me for another exciting and successful month.

    Let’s make November Great 👍

    And Let’s Finish Strong 💪

Let’s Keep the Sparkle ❇️ and Shine On 💖

Judith, that all sounds a bit scary but if the injections help preserve your nerves, I can understand why they want to try it. I hope someone can go with you for those treatments - a friend or family member. Colin likes me to go with him for cortisone injections. I know you will have someone who drives you there and back,. The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knoweth them who trust in Him. (Nahum 1:7)

We're getting ready to go to the airport since Colin flies out today. I will miss him for the next 10 days but we will be in touch several times a day by phone/video call. The dogs know something is up and are riding to the airport with us. They will be good company for me in Colin's absence.

The therapist told me today that she is satisfied with my progress. She likes the changing of bruising from purple to green and yellow. My thigh does not seem to be as swollen either since I am not wearing support hoes. The area around the incision is still pretty hard but part of it may be the staples they put in there. They will come out on the 7th.

Susan - Happy spiritual birthday! I am not sure what the date was because you just said sometime in the month of November. It is good to look back over the years to see how our lives have changed and become more like Jesus because of His sacrifice. I am so glad that Jasper is feeling better. It is fun that Colin can go take care of the granddaughters as their parents have work commitments out of town. Is he a good cook to keep them nourished? I am glad that you will get your turn at some time to visit them.

Barb - So glad that you are getting rain. Our grass is pretty green after all out rain but withe the frost last night, the plants are ready for their winter sleep.

Judith - I'm sorry about the nerve damage you have. Your body has been through a lot in the past few years as well as the damage caused from your work injury. Some day you will have a perfect body that will never have any damage and will last for eternity.

5 weeks today Hong Hong should have a new daughter a sibling to Mariposa. Please keep the prayers coming. HH knows that she has diabetes due to being pregnant & is he gets it her last trimester. All in God’s hands.
Tomorrow we will watch Blake, 4, & Evan almost 2. He turns 2 in 9 days.

Oh Judith. We are praying for you the shots sound painful. Praying the Drs can find the right program for you. I’m sure it must be frustrating for you.
Maybe the perfect bodies may be coming sooner than we think. There is a lot of talk that the Rapture maybe soon. So many signs we see. Even David Jeremiah is saying so. Plus the Dead Sea is blooming. Another prophecy come about. Prayers. All Asian God’s hands.

Susan prayers for you & Colin as he babysits your grands. Enjoy the phone maybe zoom or face time? Prayers.
Hope the program all turns out well. Got some time being a Christmas one.
Found out that our grandkids in Branson are in some programs too. One maybe the night the new baby is born. They are to let us know.

Linda continued prayers for your healing. How are you sleeping at night?

    Happy November all!
    Many prayers for all 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Susan, my prayers are with Colin as he heads out to help look after the granddaughters as the parents work out of town. I am sure the three of them will enjoy being together. Enjoy the Zoom/FaceTimes and phone calls you have together. So glad you have Archie and Jasper to keep you company. 10 days is long enough so I am sure you will be one happy gal having her beloved “Hubby” back home. Happy November Spiritual Birthday my friend. I celebrated mine on August 15, I invited Jesus into my Heart and Life on August 15,1977. I Never looked back after I surrendered my all to Jesus. Praise the Lord!

Linda, Good News to hear your therapist is happy with your progress. Great the appearance with the bruising is looking so much better and the swelling has come down. I will keep the 7th in prayers as you get the staples removed. Thank you for your kindness and comments about my nerve damage. I say a hearty Amen, what a day that will be when we all have a perfect body for all of eternity. Praise God! Soon and Very Soon we Shall See the King!

Barb, my prayers continue for Hong Kong and for a safe delivery and healthy baby Girl; Mariposa will be so happy to have a baby sister to love. Indeed as you said maybe the perfect bodies are coming sooner; looking at all the signs around the world, wars and rumours of wars, famines, earthquakes, crime and so much more it sure shows we are living in such troubling days, but we need to remember that it is only God who knows the Day and the Hour and what’s important is we are all ready when He comes back for His Church. In the meantime there is much work for we Christians to do with witnessing and sharing Jesus with those who come along our path.

God Bless you all; I so appreciate each and every one of you. You are such a blessing in my life, I am so thankful for your Prayers and Valued
Friendship in which I thank God!

Happy November All! God’s Blessings 🙏🤗😇

Today is starting out well. I had a good night's sleep which gives me more energy to do more around the house. We have our small church group tomorrow morning at our house. There will be about 14 people here. I am doing a potato bar and others are bringing toppings as well as salads. Today Glenn is going to help me clean the house. I do appreciate all he has done for me this week. Even as busy as he is doing things for the school, he is still available when I need some extra help. It is true that marriage can have "in sickness and health, richer or poorer, better or worse, etc." but I would not trade all the memories we have together for anything anyone could offer me.

Susan - how long is the flight that Colin had to take to go care for the granddaughters? I know sitting for a long flight can be hard when joints are not feeling good. I pray that he is able to take care of the girls well and that they will have so much fun as their parents are gone. Prayers continue for Jasper. I googled the burst anal gland and someone had posted actual pictures of what their dog went through. They said that the appearance of the wound did not match their dog's pain indicators. Once the gland burst and the pressure was released, the dog did not seem to have much pain. Is that what you are seeing also?

Barb - does Hong Hong have a name picked out for the new baby? Mariposa is such a beautiful Spanish name I assume that the next name with be as beautiful. Hong Hong sounds like a Chinese name is she also part Spanish?

Judith - praying for perseverance for your and wisdom for the doctors.

Sandy and JC and Marilyn - prayers for what ever you need - God knows so much better than we do.

Good morning. It is Sunday here and I have my basket packed for church with my flute, flute stand, music stand, hymn book, water bottle and Bible. We are also having a food collection drive for the homeless this month so I have some non perishable food to bring with me.

Linda, Colin's flight was 2.5hrs. He had a long wait at the airport as we went early in case of traffic hold ups. He had his donut cushion with him and his cane. He could check his bag in right away and it was on wheels. The granddaughters motivate him so much, he was going right or wrong. The only thing he forgot was his charging cable for his phone. It nearly went flat while he waited! Lol! He rang me several times from the airport and we face-timed with granddaughters and Don in law once he got there, do all is well. My daughter rang me too. She is already 5 hours drive from her family, ready to act in her production today. I sm so glad your hip is showing signs healing up. Once the staples are out, you will be so much better. Jasper's poor bottom hurt him for about three days after his gland burst. He worried at it and I needed to clean him up a few times. He sat quietly and sadly for those three days. He was protective if his back side, even when I was very gentle, so it must have hurt a lot. Guess it was a nasty injury, especially being there it is. The good news is, he's back to his bouncy, care free self today. Thank you so much for wishing me a happy spiritual birthday! I need to look up the exact date. It was a Friday night at the end of November, 1969. I was 15 and didn't take much notice of dates. I was just in awe over the transformation and blessing of being saved. It was a wonderful week. The Devil attacked a week later but I knew enough by then about battling him. I had been in church since I was 9, thanks to neighbours taking me there. Such memories 😄

Barb, yes, it's wonderful that we can video chat these days. I used Messenger mostly for Colin. He doesn't have Zoom but I do. Wow, Hong Hong is definitely in the countdown to her due date. We had a big blessing last night. I have a new great niece! My sister texted that she was born yesterday and is my niece's second daughter. Niece is so strong, she took the baby home last night! Nephew is over the moon to be a Dad again. They named her Clair. I love that name. They are a couple if hour's drive from us so I really hope to see them all soon. My sis and bro-IL will already be on the road driving down from Far North Qld, I expect, though their departure date was going to be Nov 20th. Clair was a little early! I'm just glad everyone is well.

Judith, happy belated spiritual birthday! I didn't have your salvation date before. Linda is so good to remember mine. I have written yours down now. I hope you are having a quiet day today and are processing all the new nefical information. It will be indescribable when our Lord and Saviour returns in the clouds. We must all keep looking up! Every cloudy day makes me scan the skies.... hugs.

So glad that you got the animals to keep you so, you’re not by yourself. I remember when we had a dog it was so nice they really can keep a house safe with their keen eyesight & hearing. Prayers. Also that Colin gets all better.
So today we go back to, standard time. Do you in Australia set clocks ahead for daylight savings & go back to standard time in the fall?
I hope I sleep, ok as last year I didn’t get much sleep. I wish like my mom we keep, it at onetime. Either standard or daylight savings time.
You play the flute Susan, my sister in PA, Cheryl plays it and our daughter oldest daughter plays it too. In fact all 4 of our kids can play an instrument. Even Hing Hing who has her doctorate in composition. She can write orchestra pieces.

Linda. Continue prayers for healing. Can you get out yet or are you still hoe bound? Can or when can you drive again? Praying.

Judith Hong Hong is from Hong Kong, she can speak 3 languages (4 if you count music); Cantonese which is Hong Kong, Mandarin China’s language & English with no accent. Mariposa is bilingual as she learning both Cantonese & English.
The 2 chose the name, thing our son, Harry 3 or 3, knows Spanish.
Mariposa’s middle name is Mei, which is May or Mae, Cantonese.
We won’t name till born just liege the last time.
Prayers for ramp & health. Plus wisdom for doctors.

Linda. Hank you for sharing the rain we are getting it & may have more tomorrow & Monday. Still praying some grass comes up from the grass seed where the trucks tires are.
We watched both Blake,4, & Evan almost 2, later this month he’ll be 2. Their parents looked for a car as their car will need to be replaced the motor will go in Ford Escapes.
Many prayers for a great Lord’s day. Sorry over for you almost Susan. Hope it was a good one.
    🙏🏻 for all.

Linda, Glen is so kind and loving in how he helps you with everything you are needing as you are recovering and healing from the surgery. It will be so nice when you get the staples out. You will be able to do more. But please be careful, don’t overdo things. Enjoy your Home Church group at your place tomorrow, your Potato Bar sounds so yummy, I can almost see all the toppings for the potatoes and of course I love the smell of Potatoes Roasting in the oven. I wrapped mine in Foil then put them in the oven and they baked so nicely. Enjoy my friend. Tonight we too turn our clocks back 1 hour when we go to bed. I really don’t like Daylight Savings time. Makes me so tired.

Susan, thanks for sharing all about Colin’s trip. Glad you had all the calls and kept in touch. He will hopefully be comfortable with his Donut Cushion and his cane to help with his mobility. He will enjoy being with his granddaughters. So sorry that Jasper suffered so much with the Burst gland but happy he is feeling better now. It’s great you can have Archie and Jasper to keep you company while Colin is away. As you posted today you said it’s Sunday there, you had your flute and music all packed, I guess you will be practicing after your service for the Play you will be apart of. Congratulations on the Birth of your Great Niece, Clair. Such a lovely name. With your family living not too far away I am sure you will be seeing your great niece soon. I would love to see some pictures when you can. Thanks for wishing me a Happy Spiritual Birthday. One that we all will never forget that glorious day when we invited Jesus into our Hearts and Lives! Praise God.

Barb, yes it’s Daylight Savings time here, clocks go back 1 hour at bedtime. Thank you for sharing that Hong Kong is fluent in 3 languages. It’s wonderful that Mariposa is bilingual with learning both Cantonese and English. Hope you enjoyed watching Blake and Evan? I am sure you have heaps of fun as you do the activities with them. Grandkids are such a blessing. Thank you for your prayers.

Blessings all on your Sunday Services and time you spend with your family! It’s late here so I am going to get ready for bed. It’s almost Midnight here but the good news is I turn the clocks back so it will be 11:00pm here. Yay for me. 😴🙏🤗

Barb - I have been getting outside to walk some and to go to therapy. The therapist told me it would be OK to go to planet fitness and do the bicycle exercise so we will start that this week. There has been no discussion about driving yet. My husband does not mind driving so I am glad to let him do it. I think I am still too sore to try it yet. If I had to step on the brake quickly, it would be too painful.

Our potato bar went well. We had several salads the multiple toppings. We also had a dump cake and pumpkin bread. We thought we would have too many potatoes but with the college students there, they took some home so we only had four potatoes left. I will make hash browns with them for another meal.

It sounds like all of us that do the time change, are not fond of the practice. I wish we could just pick a time and stay with it. It was originally supposed to "help the farmers" but Glenn says that farmers look at the sunrise not at the clock to go do the chores.

Susan - I am glad that Jasper seems to be back to normal. Does the doctor know what caused the gland to burst? We raised dogs and I do not remember it ever happening to any of ours.

    Praying for you all!

Hello all. I read your posts this morning then ran out of time to answer as I had to get to ukulele practice. I am back at home for a few hours before Starlight Singers practice now.

Barb, that's good news about the rain. It has been so dry. I hope you continue to get more rain in coming days. Yes, the bronchitis is gone and so is the Sinusitis but asthma continues. Other states in Australia have daylight savings time but not in Queensland (Qld) where I live. Queenslanders have voted against introducing it twice. Yes, Colin seems to be enjoying his time with our granddaughters.

Linda, I agree.Wait till your hip feels better before trying to drive. I wondered if you were getting physical therapy. The fitness place sounds ideal. The vet did not know why Jasper had this trouble. He said it was a little understood problem. I have added Psyllium husk to both dog's food each day on his suggestion. I have never had a dog with this problem before either and have had dogs all my life.

Judith, Thank you for replying to my last post. I don't have any pictures of Clair yet but will see if I can post one when I get one. My.
Nephew texted me back after I sent a congratulations text to him. Of course they are adjusting to no sleep again. They also have a 2yo daughter so have recent memories about how much work a new baby is!
