Thank you Susan for sharing everything about the StampinUp Conference. It’s exciting to be able to meet so many people from all over the World. The Demonstrator I buy from would of gone but her daughter just had serious surgery so she wouldn’t be able to leave her home with her hubby as he wouldn’t be able to care for her without his wife help. Let me know if any Canadians or even others from BC attended. Look forward to hearing about the new things you learned in creating Cards. Your Hotel you are staying in is awesome, the view is spectacular.

Linda, hope the Lab you got your Blood work at meets the Doctors approval and no issues with the Insurance. Hope you are not penalized for using a Lab that wasn’t on the list your Doctor gave you. I would think in light of the seriousness of why Blood Work is being done when it comes to your Liver they would be accommodating. I am praying. Thank you for your concern with my back yard patio by back door with wet muddy splatters all over; I have great friends who live closer to me then my family are always ready to lend helping hand. So all good!

Barb, thank you for your encouragement; and yes I had a lovely visit with my friend Susan who drove a distance with all the rain, so special she did that for me. She left in good time to get home before dark. Sorry your weather is colder and very windy by Friday and on the weekend. Hope your Doctor has a good report after he looks at your baby toe and has a look at the sores in your mouth. Hope he can offer some guidance or medication to help. Sorry you are not visiting family this time but hope you enjoy visiting Arkansas, Texas, & Alabama. I have a few very close friends in Arkansas, Mountain Home. Not sure if you will be anywhere near Mountain Home Arkansas? Hope you enjoy your Bible Study before you see your Doctor. Let us know what he says about the mouth sores and your toe. Safe Travels when visiting Arkansas, Texas, & Alabama.

it’s getting later and I have a huge day tomorrow travelling the highways to Vancouver to my Surgeon’s appointment.

    So it’s Good Night 😴 & God Bless! 🙏🤗

No time this morning. Need to be put the door in 5 minutes (7am) and then will go through to about 10pm. Just checking in yo say all is well except for the unaccustomed rush in my life these few days.

Some brief points: 650 attendees, no interpreters other than for the deaf. There would have been many more attending but numbers were capped. Many missed out.

    Sorry, have to go!

She gave me Valacyclovir which is used for cold sores, shingles, chicken pox & herpes so hoping it goes away & does not come back The medicine she prescribed is expensive, so I used GOOD RX still expensive but better I take one pill every 12 hours with water, which I drink my way so no problem She told me toes month but I only got 15 days worth so we will see

It has been very cloudy today and we are expecting snow during the night. It will probably not accumulate but will melt when it hits the ground. We also have a lunar eclipse tonight but I do not know if we will be able to see anything with all the clouds. I heard back from the doctor about my liver tests. He said the number did not change from three weeks ago so I am to stop taking my cholesterol medications and get an ultrasound of my liver. Hopefully it will show what is causing the damage to my liver.

Susan - I am hoping that your are having an inspiring time at your conference. It it always nice to have some fresh ideas and to be able to discuss thoughts with those who are doing the same thing as you are. Praying for Colin to have a good time with his buddy at home.

Judith - I hope you are getting a respite from your flooding. Praying for your medical appointments that are coming up.

Barb - How long are you going to be traveling? You will be covering a lot of territory and seeing a lot of interesting things.

    Good evening All

I am better tonight but all last night I was up all night sick with pain in face lips and mouth and had to cancel my appointment. Today it took me all day to bounce back. I was given new appointments for all my specialities. I listed the dates and Doctors I am seeing in March April and in May in the Prayer Request thread. Appreciate your prayers. Our weather is about the same, I forgot to mention in my Weather update that this morning it was very windy besides the rain.

Susan, so glad you are enjoying your Stamping up Conference. You have a pretty group there and it’s nice you have someone signing in the meetings for those who are deaf or hard of hearing. In all the rush of getting out and travelling to the Conference we appreciate your prayers signing in here and letting us know you are having a great time.

Barb, how has your weather been like? You said it was supposed to be windy but I think you said a dryer time for you. Hopefully it has warmed up for you. Anymore Spring Blooms? How long will you be away and travelling to all the places and people you will see? Let us know how the x-rays turned out for your baby toe. Toes are so sensitive when we hurt them. Glad your Doctor gave you something to put around the toe to support it. I’m sure it will feel better in time and hope the swelling comes down. Glad you were able to get your prescription filled using GOOD which helped with some of the cost for the expensive medication your Doctor put you on. Hope the medication helps you. Nice you had a great Joy Group today, what were you decorating for? But glad you were able to help.

Linda, sorry it was so cold overnight and you had snow. My son and family live in the Hope/Yale area and the forecast was calling for snow there. No sign of snow in my area. Hope you don’t get too much and it doesn’t get too cold for you. Sorry about your liver tests, hope the ultrasound is able to show what is going on with your liver. You said you were having an eclipse tonight, that would be awesome if you can see some of it. I will keep you in much prayer regarding your liver.

Take care all, love and hugs….see you tomorrow evening. 😴❤️🤗🙏

All is well for Sharon and I. The Convention has been interesting so far. Fun too. But there was a tragedy. One of our number died. It was shocking, sudden, no one knows details about whether she was sick etc, only that she was in the room, tried to walk out and that was it. The staff drew a screen over so first responders in the room could help while medics were called to administer CPR. We could hear them working. It was awful. And my heart felt every sound. I prayed in shock. The lady's death has cast a pall on all the rest of the event. We're clubbing together supplies to make the family cards of sympathy. We don't know how else to show we care.

I must go now to the last day of our event. I'm sorry for leaving it here like this but am sure you understand. I'll be glad to be home tonight. Colin has been not too well either and is looking forward to our return. He has been sleeping the days away.

Susan. Prayers for the lady’s family. So sad. I wonder if she was sick or her heart suddenly maybe suddenly. I hope you are hime now & had a nice welcoming with Colin. Enjoy your Saturday which it already is.
prayers as you use what you learned with your crafting cards.

Judith I wrote down all your drs appointments coming up. Many prayers. And as you recover with what all they did to, you on Thursday.
Has your foods or water from all of your rain gone into the ground. I hope it’s not to muddy out there for you & if so it’s easy to clean up
    Many prayers for you

So sorry for all my typos when typing quickly before craft group it was fun I had to rip,out and restart my other side as it was the same & I need a left and right side as this side I make buttonholes for it. Today was our last warm day as this weekend we will be close to normal not as warm today so that is nice The storm, wasn’t too bad though many lost power & we had lots of sticks & several branches come down we might, after we get home have the city check, our silver maple tree out it is old & somewhat hollow.. The city has a tree man who can let us know.
The meds my Dr gave me for my mouth sores have really taken it so that the sores are almost gone of not gone I don’t feel other one coming it’s strong meds used for shingles, chicken pox and herpes .

We got a bag Walmart on our tree branch high up not sure how we will get down plus my Lenten rose is blooming I’ll send pics of it & the bag

Linda. Any idea when you will have an ultrasound on your liver? Prayers for you also, with not taking your cholesterol meds sorry for you.

They closed I 70 down between Colby Ks and Goodland Ks, due to dust Goodland is by the CO border & Kansas

Lenten Rose, you can tell I need to rake but I prefer waiting till mid April. There will be some cold days here while we are away.
Oh Bua, neighbor is walking some without her walker. Still a bit wobbly but it’s coming back. Praying I gave the, 2 cherry tarts to celebrate that I made them. Praying for their salvation. Opening her heart maybe asking me questions or I will ask her? Wisdom and boldness in witnessing bit her heart needs to be tender. So prayers for that.
    Have a great weekend.

Susan, I am sorry to hear about the member who suddenly died. What a shock for you and everyone. My heart goes out to the Family and to all the members who have been affected by this tragedy. So kind of you all to gather together to make sympathy cards for the family. I am sure Colin will be so happy to welcome you back home. Hope you have a loving welcome home celebration as you spend time together.

Barb, you have had quite the weather, hot temperatures especially for Marh. Then your windy stormy weather. With high winds it’s amazing what blows around. I see the bag in the tree. It’s so high up, not sure how the bag can be brought down. Thanks for explaining where Mountain Home is where my friends and their daughter and 2 sons live. You said you are back Sunday and you look after Mariposa on Monday. Enjoy your time away seeing all the sights. Safe travels where you go. Your Lenten Rose is beautiful. It shows up nicely in the midst of all the leaves. I have grown many kinds of Roses in my day but never had a Lenten Rose. Are they native to your area?

Linda I continue to pray for you that you will have the ultrasound soon regarding your liver. My prayers continue my friend.

Have a blessed Lord’s Day everyone. Enjoy your Sunday Services! 😊🙏📖✝️

We did not get to see the lunar eclipse last night due to the clouds. A friend from Denver did see it and put pictures on Facebook so I did get to see them. I looked at the sky at 1am but it was raining at that time and then when I got up, it was snowing huge flakes. It melted as soon as it hit the warm grass but it was pretty to see. We got .04 inches of moisture so it was not much.

Judith - I am so sorry that you were sick and had to cancel your appointment today. Maybe it is good that you got a break from what the surgeon usually does for you and you are in severe pain after it.

Susan - Oh my! Having someone die at your conference would definitely put a bit of a change in mood for everyone. I pray for her family as they face this surprising episode. I am sure that her family will appreciate the sympathy cards you make for her. I also pray that Colin will feel better with you being with him and will have more energy and be able to be more awake.

Barb - I would not worry about removing the sack from your trees. I can't imagine anyone trying to climb the tree to remove it. Maybe the wind will remove it or a squirrel will use it for their nest. I don't know if your have squirrels but we have plenty at our house we would be glad to send to you. LOL Your Lenten rose is gorgeous. I have not seen one like that one. I do understand why you want to wait for a little while to start raking leaves. I do not have the appointment for my ultrasound yet. The hospital is supposed to call me to make the appointment. In the meantime I am trying to find foods that will help my liver be healthy. I am glad that Bua is walking better and am praying that her heart softens to hear the gospel. God will help you have the right words for her. I am glad that your mouth sores are better with medication. Is is true that that your idea that tomatoes were causing the sores verified by the doctor? I would hate to give up tomatoes from my diet.

    Good morning western hemisphere.
    Susan Good whatever evening maybe?

susan. So sorry for the lady who died many prayers for her family.
so I assume back, home with Colin? So has everyone recovered from the cyclone? Prayers.

Judith. Your asparagus quiche sounds yummy. 😋. I just finished cooking our asparagus in our air fryer. I usually use Bisquick to make my quiche, as no pie crust that way. I wonder if it would work? I assume it would.
Prayers for your healing & all you do.

Linda. I am hoping the bag will come down. Not sure a squirrel, which we have lots of wcouldmuse it. Who, knows maybe a bird would want some of it for a nest?
It is still there after all the rewind we had. Praying somehow maybe God gets it to come down, after all He used the wind to put it up there, thenit wrapped itself with the strong wind.
We had a huge tree west of us come down while a man was driving along, and the tree landed on his car. He was sent to, the hospital. Last night he was in critical condition I have not heard anything about him.
So today and tomorrow highs in the 50’ our normal temps. Then 70 on Monday &;Tuesday, while we are gone then cold on Wednesday with a low of 27*. So I wonder if my daffodils, will be frozen I won’t be here to cover them. Then the temps go back into 60s. Crazy.

Praying for you with your liver. I ono they too me more veggie & fruit. Mediterrane diet. No sod & alcohol, which imdont do. I’ve never drank any alcohol either. Plus stay away from fruit drinks and tea. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
i May try mandarin oranges on trip & tomatoes just watch the amount I think.
I hope you can get a call from the hospital for you ultrasound asap.

Just A quick check in as we have church this morning. Yes, I am home. The rest of the conference was fantastic and we all drew a little closer. Colin is breathing a little easier since I am home. I will not go away without him again till he is feeling better.

I'll hopefully have time to visit longer soon. Sharon and Barry are staying with us till Tuesday. They are at a car show this morning while we go to church.

I hope all will receive a blessing & Susan already did at church tomorrow or today.
inmynwalk I saw 2 blooming daffodils & forsythia. Our forsythia is not blooming yet. I hope with some warm days maybe Monday Tuesday but then Wednesday it’s cold again

Right now we are getting some rain with snow in it.
On the news I just saw the wind we had was turning trucks cover. So it was very windy. Lots of tornadoes. Mainly in Missouri & Arkansas. Lots died too so sad.
I’ll send pics of our forsythia.
I did see some purple crocuses which I knew I had. Plus hyacinth with bloom at the ground so I put more leaves on them.
so we plan on going to,SS & church then leave for Arkansas.
I heard from our old neighbor Thant the azaleas are blooming all over so we should see some! Hoping to catch them in several States.

We may see our Branson and Andover families. I got Resurrection eggs for them. Other families get the, next year. Kind of expensive.

Praying for Judith & Linda that you are having a good day.

Hope Susan and Colin just enjoying the Lord & each other having been separated .

    Prayers for all.

Today we have had rain and snow on and off as we did yesterday. Tonight I am getting ready for the Irish potluck we are having at church. Our Bible study group is hosting it so I have to go early to decorate. All the tablecloths and table ware are green and we will have leprechauns and chocolate candy coins wrapped in gold foil and shamrocks decorations. Everyone was told to bring an Irish dish, a green colored food or bring it in a green container. Our group will be wearing green shamrock necklaces for the women and the men have green hats. I also finished a big project today that I had gotten in the mail. A few weeks ago I did a survey about what books, magazines, etc I read and was paid $25. This time it is a "book" that has 96 pages of questions about what we shop for and minute details about what brands we use of gas, automotive products, food, TV, movies, health and beauty aids, medications, beverages, restaurants, travel, my opinion on multiple subjects, etc. and they will pay me $50. As I finished it, I was thinking about how much work it was to do and realized that I spent 10 hours answering these questions so I got $5/hour which is below minimum wage. I do not plan on doing a survey like this again for a long time.

Judith - I hope you are feeling better today. I tried your egg drop soup recipe and really liked it. I also like to make quiche but I usually put in broccoli. I think asparagus would be a great vegetable also. We make our quiches without crusts to avoid some of the carbs.

Barb - happy and safe travels for you this coming week. I am so sorry to hear of all the damage and deaths from the tornadoes especially the man that had the tree fall on his car and is in the hospital. I bought a recipe book for Mediterranean cooking quite a while ago but did not do much with it. I will need to get it out again to try some recipes for my liver. I do not need to stop alcohol because I never started it. Tylenol is hard on livers but I do not take it because of my kidney surgery.

Susan - I am glad that you are home safely and that Colin is feeling better. I agree that until he gets to feeling better, maybe you need to not travel away from your home and leave him there. I'm sure your presence has a calming effect on him.

Here in BC many areas those who have Azaleas Bushes some are blooming and many are loaded with new leaves with small buds all over the branches so they will start blooming here in April. Mine are so full & lush in green leaves with small buds even with all this rain we have had. I can hardly wait. I have several Azaleas Bushes across my front garden in front of my two large evergreen trees. Then on edge of the garden are my daffodils Crocus and Tulips but nothing I see yet. I have my huge Variegated Hosta that is beautiful when it comes up. It is planted near my Bird Bath!

Barb, Hopefully the plastic bag will come down on its own. You are getting some wild weather with cold and hot temps and high winds. While you are away hope your daffodils and other flowers and shrubbery and your Forsythia survive. Thanks for sharing pictures. You mentioned about the tornadoes that have wrecked havoc all over and sadly many have died. Our news have been reporting the situation. When I read the one state you mentioned Arkansas you got my attention with having friends living there. Safe travels Barb. Enjoy your time and hopefully you meet up with family.

Susan, so glad to hear Colin is breathing better since you got home. Enjoy your Sunday Services my friend. Glad your Friends Sharon and Barry are staying until Tuesday.you will be able to have some more time with them.

Linda, so sorry you didn’t see the Lunar Eclipse due to the clouds. Nice your friend in Denver did. And a plus that she posted them on FaceBook and you did see them. You are having quite the weather too. Rain then snow. Thanks for your kindness, so much going on with treatment not working, complications guess it all caught up with me. Appreciate your prayers.

I am so tired so heading to bed now. Good Night 😴 and God Bless!

God’s Blessings on your Lords Day, enjoy your Sunday services. Be back tomorrow evening. 🙏📖✝️🤗

No rain or snow today with a high of 59F (15C) today. We had a successful potluck for church with only minor problems. They were not big enough that most people did not even notice which was good. I am attaching a picture of the pretzel shamrock and also a picture that I said I would send a while ago of the coffee table that Glenn's grandfather made of sliced rocks. The round ones in the middle are the dinosaur bones.

We had lots of the onion gravy left from the potluck so we will be eating it for a while with different starches to put it on. We almost ran out of mashed potatoes but there is enough to use for one meal and then I will need to go with rice or some other substitute.

Barb - Thinking of you traveling today. I hope the weather stays nice for the drive. Down south there should be more flowers blooming since it should be warmer there.

Judith - your description of all the flowers you have in your yard sounds beautiful. I have seen some pictures on Facebook of your gardens and it looks like you have a professional gardener helping you. Do Azalea bushes have a smell and what color are the blooms? I probably have seen some but I can not remember what they look like.

Susan - Thinking of you and the time you are having with your friends visiting with you. We will have a couple staying with us 4/22-4/25 but we do not know them. They are the leaders of the campus leaders from The University of Colorado Springs. Each year students from different universities that are on spring break go to other universities to help out the campus ministries while they are still in session. Since different campuses have spring break at different times, it is easy for them to travel to different campuses on their own spring break. It builds friendships with different universities and they get to learn about different cities. I think we will have 10-12 students here at different houses.

in Arkansas now. In way to motel. We are seeing more flowering trees.
saw some daffodils blooming too in southern MO.
I am having a hard time pulling up my book markers. The link is hard to her on my cell phone. I hope I have access on my iPad.

Linda. The pretzel shamrock is cute. I am glad your potluck went well. It is spring real for a lot of the schools back home & it worked out for us to be away. We hope we catch some of our hrs flies on way home.
Got to looking for place to eat so I must say good bye.

    Prayers for all.

Barb, my mother was born near Little Rock (Alicia) and I still have relatives in Benton that I know plus many more I don't know. My great grandpatents lived there nearly all their lives. I've never been to Arkansas but feel it's pull. Our Pastor grew up there too. Enjoy your stay.

Linda, the pretzels are cute and clever. I really like your sliced rock table and am glad you posted a picture for us. Sounds like you will have a busy time ahead too. Our friends are off doing their own thing today for awhile. I have cancelled my plans as Colin doesn't feel well again. I hope you can find good recipes to help with your liver.

Judith, glad you are starting to feel a little bit better. I hope you don't get any more nasty bugs. You certainly have a huge schedule of appointments and treatments to get through. Colin felt up to coming to our morning church service with me yesterday and it was good. I hope you enjoy your services.

Unfortunately Colin is back to 'normal' with chest pain and breathing difficulties. We don't know the cause of them so he lays down, we turn the air conditioning on, he takes pain killers and antacids, then we rest. If the pains don't ease we go to the hospital but dragging him there is a huge job as they keep him for 6 hours minimum and so far it has not been his heart that is causing the symptoms. it seems to happen after he does anything and today he brought the washing in. That's enough to trigger all this. He does things when I'm in the shower or something as he wants to help and knows I will object, but he shouldn't be helping at this stage. It's a daily battle. Having a few days away was nice but also a big concern. If I hadn't bought the ticket, paid for accommodation, arranged for my friend to drive 7 hours to go there with me, etc etc, months ago, I wouldn't have gone. It was only that Barry stayed with Colin the whole time and Colin urging me to go that swayed me in the end.

Susan. So you have relatives from Arkansas. It’s hilly they call the mountains here the Boston Mountains because of the challenging terrain. They are pretty. We are seeing some white blossoms on some trees. Not sure what they are. I thought maybe Bradford pears, but not shaped like a pear tree. Hard to tell while driving. We did see some daffodils. So that was nice. We will be in Tyler Tx tomorrow

So I can access the book markers only on my iPad. Not sure why they took that away from us. Prayers for you & Colin. So:o sorry That he is having issues. When is it he sees the dr? Plus ou see a hearing clinic. The hearing clinic is this week. Many prayers.

Judith. Praying you get feeling yourself soon. You don’t need any nasty bugs.
Prayers for Dr to have wisdom in treating you. You do so much for us so thank you for that too.

Linda. The table of stone is neat. I wasn’t sure then my screen went blank. I got to pull up 2 chit chat 2 times on my cell but it would disappear very quickly. Such a pain.

Hope all had a goon Sunday & all plus Monday for Susan. Maybe you will get some answers for Colin. Have a good week all.

Linda, No professional Gardener I do my own gardening have done for many years. You learn how to do things from a manual wheelchair, it’s good exercise for me. My daughter and family set up my garden furniture and put out the planters I plant my own flowers in. I have flowers in the ground gardens and have planters. The azealea bushes have different colors as 1 bush has a hot pink flowers and the other one is a peachy shade… Both bushes are loaded in buds and flowers. Never noticed any scent. Mothers Day both daughter and son and family but 2 hanging baskets for me. Love your pictures Linda of the pretzel shamrock and also the picture of the the coffee table Glenn's grandfather made of sliced rocks and dinosaur bones in the middle of the table. How cool and the Pretzel shamrock is so unique. Thanks for sharing.

Barb, It’s kinds interesting that I have friends in Arkansa, Mountain Home and you and Susan have family other places in Arkansas. My brother Chris lives in Boston. And I have family in Ruston New York, Toledo Ohio, and family in Miami. Then of course family and me spread all across Canada. With your sister in Victoria BC and be having a cousin and 1 Aunt there. Enjoy your stay in Arkansas and the other places you said. Safe travels!

Susan how’s Colin doing? I am sure he is glad to have you home. Have you had the appointments you were waiting on. I am feeling better it’s just my face mouth and lips that are causing a lot of discomfort. This will pass and it will soon ease.

Ok it’s late and I have to get to bed. Good Nite all. Prayers for you all! ♥️🙏

It's interesting that we all have family in the US, Judith and Barb. I have a lot of relatives in California, Oregon, Washington, Arkansas and Michigan but I have never met the Michigan ones. My paternal grandfather came from Texas and my paternal grandmother came from Kansas, One uncle came from Alabama, so there are a few in those states as well. Barb, if you are seeing daffodils, it might explain why my Arkansan mother loved them.

We just said goodbye to our friends. They have a 7 hour drive to get home.

I did get my hearing aid yesterday and am going to take awhile to adjust to it. It did make sounds clearer though. I only need an aid for my right ear.

We're about to go see the GP and get some more test results for Colin. He also needs to tell her about his chest pain and tightness. Will let you know what happens tomorrow.

Judith, there was one wo.an from Canada at our OnStage event. I didn't get go meet her. There were also women from New Zealand, USA, England, and a few European countries. Most were Aussies.

I can't share much of what they showed us at OnStage because of their rules, unfortunately! There were things I am allowed to share. This is the stamp set they gave me during Prize Patrol for example.

Today we went to our tax advisor to get our income taxes done. We had given her a lot of information but she said we were still missing things. For the last few years I have worked for hours on getting things itemized but she had told us that it did not help us much. She neglected to say that she was only talking about medical items and not our self-employment taxes. I am back now for the next week or so looking at the past year to see what I can claim. Without it, we will have to pay taxes so it is worth the time I will spend.

Susan - I am so sorry that Colin is still having chest pain and trouble breathing. It is so hard when our husbands feel like they need to help but then it causes them problems. It is nice that it does not appear to be his heart but very difficult not knowing what it is that is causing his distress. It is true that going to the hospital can take a long time and there is a balance between going for everything and not going enough when help can relieve his problems. Making that decision can be very difficult. I pray for your patience, wisdom and support with Colin. I am also praying for your visit with the GP for test results. Hopefully the results will give more light on what will work for him. I'm glad that you got your hearing aid and can hear better.

Barb - I am also having problems with things disappearing on here. I am sure some days that I wrote things in the threads but they will be gone when I look the next day. At least some of the threads are still appearing so MFP knows I have been here and I can keep my streak. I had not heard of Bradford pear trees so I looked it up. It sounds like they are beautiful but also smell really badly and are an invasive species. I think that I am glad that we do not have them in our area.

Judith - I am glad that you are able to work in your garden yourself. I love the smell of soil as I work in it. Hanging baskets are so beautiful. That is a wonderful Mother's day present. Maybe I need to ask for that when they want to know what they can get for me this year.

Judith. That is so neat that your family has made it so, you can work in your own garden from a wheel chair. Good exercise with wheelchair or not.
Judith, you got family all over I only have one sister in BC who married a Canadian, and is a missionary out there.

Susan. So you got some hearing aids. Prayers as you adjust to them. I love your pic. I pull my hair back like you. Looks like you got a small car head like me too.
praying for Colin I hope the drs today could help him.

Linda. Hope you found all you need for your taxes. We have 2 states to fill out as Harry works on Missouri & we live in Kansas. We always owe, but are getting some money back. Harry feels it’s better to, owe as that way you are getting what you need. I like getting money back. Oh well. It all works out.

Today we saw some tulips, lily of the valley and azaleas. We did a Quite ana few azaleas were azalea walk in Tyler Tx, which Friday is to have a big azalea walk weekend. Quite a few are still in bud so maybe more will bloom by the weekend.
We are in Center, Tx for the night. Hoping to get to Louisiana tomorrow to see more azaleas. I hope we see some rhododendrons as I like them. I did see a few but only in buds

    Good night from here.
    Daffodils from Sunday

Wedid see Bradford pears in bloom & white Dogwoods. We have a pink one back home. In Pennsylvania the white dogwoods are wild.

Susan, loved your picture from the StampinUp Conference. The Stamp set is so nice. You will make some lovely cards with those pretty Floral Stamps. That was nice that there was a woman in attendance from Canada. I have been to a lot of conferences but never to a StampinUp but perhaps one day. So sorry about Colin is having chest pain and shortness of breath. Hope your appointment with your GP brings some answers to help Colin. So happy you got your hearing aid that is now helping you.

Barb, yes I have Family all over the USA. And you mentioned visiting Louisiana, what city are you visiting? I ask as I Lived in Lafayette before going back to Canada and got married. The pictures of the beautiful Spring flowers. So very nice, I love the Spring time seeing new growth. My Azealea Bushes are filled with buds. They look so healthy. Barb, my family didn’t make my yard wheelchair friendly, when I moved here my condo was wheelchair friendly. The Azelea were planted by a friend that the Church was donating. They were pulling out all the shrubbery as they were changing their landscape and I was asked if I’d like them, of course I said yes. I have 6 across the front garden. I planted the Hosta when it was tiny now it’s huge. My son planted my trees when they were few inches now they are towering over the front of my condo. My kids put my patio furniture away over the winter and put it out nearer to Mothers Day. Hope I answered all your questions. Enjoy your time away. Safe travels.

Linda, I hear you about the income taxes, it can be so frustrating trying to bring it all together. And this year there are new rules on what and what not to claim. So much to fill out but I sure don’t want to be owing the government anything. I usually get money back not a lot but every bit helps. I hope you find all the info your tax advisor was asking for. I agree about taking the time to hunt for documents itemized items so the government isn’t coming back to you asking for it or having to pay a penalty. Thankful I have never paid a penalty but have heard of some who do. My kids always asked me what I’d like for Mothers Day. Because I love gardening so much I said if they would like to buy me a plant or flowers for my garden I’d like so they began buying me two hanging baskets.
I think it’s a good idea Linda. Tell the family you would love a hanging floral basket. Maybe you will get surprised! 😊

off to bed I go now. Have a good night sleep. Be back tomorrow. Prayers for all! 🙏🤗

This morning "Mother nature" is not sure what she wants to give us so we have a variety. It started out with rain this morning then about noon we had large hail that bounced on the patio, covered everything white and was pretty loud. After that we had rain and thunder followed with snow. I was planning to stay inside today cleaning for the Bible study group so with the weather as it is, I definitely will stay inside!

Susan - wondering what the GP had to say about Colin. I hope she had some clarification about what is causing his chest pain and difficulty breathing.

Judith - It was so nice that your church gave you Azelea bushes and your children planted trees for shade. Both of our houses have large trees that are so nice in the hot weather. We sit in the shade in the swing and listen to the birds sing.

Barb - safe travels. I am so glad that you are taking us along with you to see the spring flowers in pictures. I am sure they are even more beautiful when you see them in person. I did not realize that you have to pay taxes in two states. That must be hard to figure out. Do you have a program that helps you or do you have an accountant who can help keep things straight?

Yesterday we found out there are no lung or thyroid issues for Colin. Yay! Our GP still thinks his symptoms are heart related, so she disagrees with the Cardiologist a bit. She urged us to call the booking clinic at the hospital to see if his Angiogram was anywhere near being scheduled, so we did. We got no joy but updated the file to show our GP says his symptoms are heart related. Our GP will also send them her reports. The squeaky wheel gets the oil?

My one hearing aid is working out fine. I don't need one in the other ear. Yesterday I wore my hearing aid for 11 hours and it was starting to bother me so I took it out. I cam wear it for up to 20 hours when I get used to it.

We said goodbye to Barry and Sharon this morning. They bought a new Isuzu twin cab Ute yesterday so each are driving a different car home. They have a 7 hour trip to do today. We're cleaning up, as you do after having house guests.

Barb, the Bottom picture of the Azealea is the same color of one of mine. The other one is a Peachy/orange color. Will take pictures when flowers out. Yes so blessed the Church gave me the Azelea bushes they were pulling out to do something different. I have enjoyed them for about 15/20 years now. And my trees my Son put in we’re way back in the Spring of 1996 the year when I moved in. Yes a Long time ago now. Thank you for sharing your travels and your pictures. It’s fun to travel with you via your pictures! Safe travels and enjoy your time there!

Susan, I Praise God the Report came back as No Lung or Thyroid issues. Such Good News. I rejoice with you! This is good you went to the hospital and found that the angiogram was no where near being scheduled, so sorry 😞 but at least you could let them know the report from GP saying he thinks it’s Heart related. Here’s hoping the hospital gets on this right away and Colin gets the appointment he needs. So glad you are hearing better with your hearing aid. I have heard it takes time getting used to wearing one. Sorry it made your ear sore after 11 hours of wearing. Hope that improves in time!

Linda, was on the Weather Thread and saw you are getting pretty much every kind of weather. Please be safe. When you mentioned about the hail it brought me back to 2 days ago, the sky turned very grey almost black then it really came down in a mixture of rain, hail and snow showers and then a sprinkle of sunshine. As fast as it came it cleared. Such crazy weather we had and you are having. Tonight it’s minus 1celsius degrees. It is chilly.

It’s now 12:22am and it’s bedtime now. I came on at 11:00pm and now I am back and leaving now at 12:23am!

Good Night 😴 Sweet Dreams and God Bless! 🙏🤗

Judith, I hope you had a good sleep after staying up so late! Yes, praise God for the things Colin doesn't have. When we called the hospital (it is over 30kms away so we didn't vidit) they said his files were with a scheduling doctor who would decide how urgent his case is. We'll see if anyone gets back to us. I'm getting used to my aid. Yesterday I managed 13 hours with no problems at all.

Barb, those Azaleas sure are pretty. I used to have pink ones in a house I lived in long ago when my daughter Elizabeth was only 2. I think it's neat we both have daughters with that name! Enjoy your travels. Our friends got home safely but had to wait at one point while a fatal accident was cleared away 😔 They were sure sad about the fatality. Life is precious. Enjoy your travels and be safe.

Linda, thinking of you and praying for you.

I have a card class today. The first card is a technique card. We're colouring foil with alcohol markers then we'll dry emboss it. The second card is a fancy fold. I'll show you what we make tomorrow.
