Bagpipes and drums are very LOUD! If it causes me a headache when I am near them when they are playing, I would have to take many fluid "drams" of medication to get rid of the pain.

Yes, that's for sure, bagpipes and drums are loud! I wonder how players keep their hearing. I have never had a headache from hearing them, though. If I did, I would take grams of painkillers in tablet form instead of liquid drams.

Glenn's grandfather was almost deaf from working in the early 1900's with tractor engine noise for so long. They did not have mufflers to make them quieter. I do not want to be deaf from loud music so I will do the "smart" thing and use ear plugs.

Good idea, Linda. The piper uses earplugs. Maybe he has some spare ones that haven't been opened yet that we can use. I'll ask him to start looking.

Spare ear plugs would be nice. If they are still in the packages we can "trust" that they are unused.

Yes. That was my rusty thinking on the subject of ear plugs. I want them to be unused!

I am going to inspect all the ear plugs that are not packaged to make sure they are sanitary. I do not want to see anyones ear "crust" on my ear plugs.

If there was a problem, we could get help from either of you as you could nurse us.

Yes we have been retired and have let our license lapse but I believe that we do remember a lot of stuff if you find yourself needing nursing care. Of course, I can not "speak" for Judith as to how involved she wants to be with her busy schedule.

Not too worry, I’m all in even if my license is not intact I am sure between Linda and I will be able to provide Nursing care if needed. I Spoke to the Community Council and they said it’s quite alright if Linda and I provide basic Nursing care if needed until the Local Doctor can get to us to take over,

Hopefully no one will need care, but it is nice to know we are all in safe hands! I might bring some bandaids in case one of us gets a spike injury from a rose bush though.

Bandaids are a good idea. In "spite" of us trying to be careful, there are a lot of thorns to avoid.

yes good idea as getting a Spike in our hand from the Rose Bush will need a bandage maybe a few! And yes Linda in spite of us being careful there are a lot of thorns especially when you think of the driveway is lined with rose bushes, ouch ouch, that’s all I can say! I just hope we all can spare the thorn from hurting our hand!

Appreciate your Share Susan of the Bandages that you Found from our First Aide Kit! Hopefully the Hares don’t hear that we have bandages and come and raid our first-aide kit!

Yes, the hares don't need our bandages. They would be better off with the tares of the fields.

The hares are not bothered by the tares because of their hairy skin. Not safe is the "nares" of their tender noses.

If it rains we will all need some shelter. Does anyone have a tarpaulin we can put up?

yes Susan I have one, by the outskirts of our town there are some Ruins and just behind them is a cave we can take shelter in from the rain.

A cave is safe from the threat of rain but what if it is the home of a bear? If we get cold and start a fire, the bear may be friendly as he feels the warmth of the fire as it "burns" and knows we are trying to help.
