Yes we are very organized and precise. Those who do sloppy work are so surprised at our efficiency. It kicks their "socks" off in surprise.

I have some sacks for their socks. Socks are handy in winter but I will wash them first.

That is a good idea to collect the socks in sacks and launder them. Be careful about putting them in a hot setting in the dryer though because it "sucks" the elasticity out of the tops of the socks and they will sag.

Very true Linda about drying in too hot dryer, it does Sucks the elasticity out of the tops of socks! Thanks Susan for donating the Sacks for the Socks. Yes Linda the Cusks on the elastic line threads would wear out over time and not keep their elasticity.

I would not like the socks to become husks of their former selves so will dry them on a line instead of in the dryer.

yes Susan I sure Hear you as we don’t want the Socks to become Husks of their former selves! So drying them on a line is wise choice! Good drying the so drying them on a line is a good plan but I sure hope they get dry before the Night Dusks settle in!

We certainly want to get them dry before Dusk because the night wind might blow and the "dusts" that come off the wildfires might get soot on them.

That wouldn't be nice at all. Where I live, the sun is strong and we have a place to put the clothes rack under cover at night. The dust is a problem here though. I will keep an eye on the socks. I couldn't stand to wash them again.

Re-washing the socks would be a chore to do. I think with all the soot and dust, if the socks were left out for a while they would have really "stank".

indeed Susan we can’t Stand to wash the socks again and if we leave them too long the socks would of Stank And if we leave many Socks out Linda we might have Tanks of Socks to rewash, not fun!

I learned about getting g socks whiter in Far North Queensland where the soil is volcanic red. One of our sons used to wear his socks outside in the dirt! I often wushed we lived closer to the clean white sands of the ocean shore so the socks would not get so dirty.

We need to keep our hearing good so we can learn more each day and make our brains work. It is amazing that when you look at the wool that the workers "shear" off the sheep is dirty and yellow. But it can be made into socks that are so beautifully clean and white. - the process is so interesting.

That's right. Wool is purified and it turns white before it is made into clothing. A sheaf of paper isn't white when it starts out either, but manufacturers know how to make it so.

it is so amazing to see what comes off the sheep when the Farmers Shear them Linda, wonderful how the wool can be turned from yellow and dirty into white beautiful socks, and Susan you are right, I hadn’t thought of a Sheaf of paper not being white when it starts out either! It’s amazing with putting some Shade around the Sheaf of paper we can eventually make it shine bright white!

It's a shame that our brains cannot take in all the knowledge un the world, isn't it? I didn't know shade was important in making paper white.

Yes we learn a lot from this team but I would not like to know everything about everything. Life would be boring if we did not have something to make our minds work. I "shake" my head at those who think they know everything and brag about it. God needs to get the glory for how our minds imagine or our eyes see or our ears hear, etc.

Yes Susan, but I love the way God made our Brains and I love learning the things God wants me to know. I feel sad when I see people think they know it all, they miss out on so much about really learning new things that only God knows, yes, He deserves to receive all the Glory! I am with you Linda with Shaking my head!

The hake bake was usually one portion of fish per person, baked in foil with a cover of mayonnaise then drizzled with lemon juice. We didn't make fish cakes though that would have been nice, too. I think Hake is an ocean fish? No fakes accepted! Lol!
