Sounds awesome, thank you Susan for offering to build the website! Yes Linda, we have seen many twists and turns and yes all Stems from wanting to help the lady get known…
Yes I believe we can find people in our community to donate money for our website! We can overcome the “Twist” and Turns of this saga and find donors of our website. And I will donate the first $20.00 for our cause! Anyone else want to donate?

Susan, I am impressed that you know so much about websites but it makes sense if you already developed one yourself. As for the money, I will look in my huge piggy bank to see how much I can contribute. This whole thing is really picking up "steam".

It "seems" to me that we could get the news out about our tea lady if we also put it on the radio and TV. What do you think?

Yes Linda, sounds good to me, Radio and TV adds are a good way to advertise but it may be too pricey for us to afford. If it works out that we generate enough funds through our fund raising efforts we can look into getting more funds to help our Tea Lady. Let’s see how our Fund Raising goes and see if it MEETS our needs!

Good idea, Linda and Judith. Maybe there is a community radio and TV channel who would advertise our friend's story for free. Then we wouldn't need any more funds. But fund raising itself would allow us to spread the word about our friend's business! Maybe we could ask a local butcher to donate some meats for raffles?

Excellent idea Linda, I like that idea. People would love to win seats on Colin’s boat for a nice ride. Yes having a raffle Beats trying to think of any other prizes to Win!

We need to cover all "bases" to make sure we have enought prizes so we can get enough money from the raffle.

Yes, that's what makes a raffle attractive - all the possible prizes! If the butcher donates a prize, maybe the grocer will as well. The tea lady herself could provide some tea prizes. We'll need buses to collect all the prizes at this rate!

The tea lady said she would give away some of her tea as prizes too. She will meet us at the bus station. We can identify her because she has a big truck that has the word "beast" written on the license plate. Her truck is huge so I understand the word on her license plate!

Thanks Linda, having a Big truck with License Plate BEAST we surely won’t miss it! So BIG is Better than having LEAST

Our tea lady having a truck named Beast made me chuckle. Yes, a big truck would be the least of what she needs to deliver tea to all her stores and customers. Imagine us with a feast to serve at our fund-raiser. We might need to borrow the Beast to pick it up!

Having the beast available does take away our "fears" of not having enough room to transport our feast!

Indeed the Gears are turning smoothly. We have seen Fears, Tears gone, as we are all Dears to be helpful! Yes we have learned a lot! And as we go into unknown territory we need to watch out for BEARS, Mr Green Jeans told me to be watchful and alert everyone else about the lurking dangers!

I am so glad the Mr Green Jeans gave us the warning. We do not want to disturb the bears while they are still hibernating. I am glad that he "cares" about our safety.

Eek! I am always wary of bears and hope we do not meet one while we are travelling. In Australia the Koalas are called bears but that is not their correct lineage and they are much smaller and not dangerous. They live in gum trees, not ones with pears in them.

I would not mind meeting this type of "bear" in the woods - keeping my distance of course. I wonder if it "hears" me walking would it run away?

Koalas generally are sleepy, shy and move slowly, so he might just freeze and hope you go away, Linda! People go to zoos to hold Koalas and have their pictures taken. Koalas are leaf eaters. I have never heard of them biting a human, but they do have strong tree-clinging claws so you might need to watch out for scratches. Have no fears! Koalas are pretty benign.

Indeed, I have watched these sweet and cute Koalas they are gentle but yes long claws for tree climbing is good but not wrapping around our bodies, but that’s in the wild, however in the zoo they have handlers and are well trained and I would be the first one to get my picture taken! So I have no Fears! Don’t mind if they stay to the Rear of us to be our “Guard Rears” as we travel along!

Haha, not correct grammar but I’m going with it…it really should read “Rear Guards” for correct Grammar!

The long claws might be a problem if they thought I was a tree and tried to climb me. Maybe to hold one, I will need to go the the local "Sears" store and buy a leather apron to protect me from scratches.

Lol! I can just see you in your new leather apron, Linda! People usually don't need specialnprotection during the few minutes it takes to get a photo. The handlers help to position the Koalas just right so they feel secure and you feel secure. They just cling where they are put. I'll come to Sears with you though. I haven't been there in years and would like to look around ☺️

Yes Linda, the Leather Apron will keep the REARS protected. And yes Susan I too haven’t been to SEARS for ages. It will be fun to look around and maybe find other things to buy! I can hardly wait to put on my Apron and see the DERS and get my picture taken with these Koalas “DEARS” with their Sweet faces!

Yes the Koalas are dears but that reminds me that as we came over the mountain a few days ago I saw some "deers" and some Elk. It is a good thing it is not hunting season because there were a lot of them and a hunter would have fun shooting them. (I know that is not the way to spell plural of deer but it fit.)

Ooh, I remember my Dad hunting deers back in California. We always had deer jerky and meat for a season when he got one. As a kid I always felt sorry for the deer. I now know it was a big help to our food budget to have deer meat. Our peers always went hunting too.
