For some reason the last few days I've been RAVENOUS! I just can't stop eating! Luckily we don't have cookies or chips in the house so I've been eating mostly healthy things. Still, I've eaten way too much of those, too much of a good thing. Need to get a grip!!3 -

Sorry I have been kind of quiet. I have focused most of my time here logging and have to say that is at least consistant. Next months goal will be to be more vocal here. Please know I am reading and silently cheering you all on.
I do have a kind of celebration.. After knee surgery in Aug 20. I thought in Aug 21 I would be good to go and on my way. Instead beginning of Sept I had a calf strain same leg which set me back to square "no walk". It is a wait it out and let it heal.
So after 5 more long weeks I tried the treadmill... got .9 mile before I felt anything. Then last week tried again and got .7 and felt something. Today while not the treadmill, I pushed myself out in my backwoods... and got a mile on rolling trails with a couple descent hills. By next week, I am hoping for a good outdoor bike ride. Once I can get this body moving, with no leg swell, I so hope to really get back on track.
Patience is not my best quality, but I have learned I have to listen to this body or it will sit me down.
While not the weekend yet, we are passing hump day so its closer. Hope you all have a great one!!1 -
