Awesome loss! I recently bought a recliner that helps manage the back pain. If you don’t find relief with the sports therapist ask to see aback specialist. I am being seen at the spine centre here in London. I am sure they have something like that in Sudbury/North Bay (know you are in Northern Ontario) They have several types of back specialist there. Right now I am getting injections in my back.
Erg... I sure hope life doesn't evolve to the point I need a back specialist. I do have an appointment with my family doctor on December 2nd. I'm hoping I get better long before then. But I'm open to anything really that will get me back on track.

Woke up around 2 am with a sore throat, achy all over, headache, chills and nauseous. It is probably from the booster I had yesterday. I am going back to bed very soon. My Fitbit is showing I have 80 zone minutes today. It’s weird as I just got up.
I will catch up on post later today.4 -

Goal Weight: : 140/150 lbs.
I want to include my inicial weight so i can really feel my progress 364 lbs (Started October 25, 2021), but before that i weighed 380 (Sep 1, 2020)
1. Tell us a little about yourself?: Hello, my name is Mari, i have never done this before, about talking about myself, so if my introduction is not the best so sorry, i promise ill try my best hahah. Well im from a little country named Panama, im 21 years old, currently in my third year of med school, and trying my best to get this weight off. If my post are not the best, its cause i dont dominate my english very well, so i get confused to hoy to write some stuff, sorry I hope in the future i can express myself better. It makes me really happy reading all our teammates stories and progresses, it inspires me to do better and dont give up, thank you so much for that!
2. Why are you on this journey? What pushed you to start?: My breaking point was, when i was trying my scrubs for the hospital, to do my medical rotacions, and i couldnt find my size. I started to realize, how someone who want to help people and cure them is not taking care of themselfs. Adicionally, my health wasnt doing great, and i really started to scared me. So i started my journey.
3. What are your triggers and how can you avoid them? Normally i dont have a lot of triggers, that make me quit my diet but one trigger will be stressing moments and not finding what to eat. I found myself trying to break my diet when for example im studying late at night, and i want to eat something to recharge energy and i dont find anything i can eat for a snack, but now i try to mantain snacks easy to buy and low cost so i can use them as much as i want (obviously il try to moderate them).
4. Do you have a favourite diet you go by? ie keto, low carb: My go to diet or form of eating habit is KETO diet. Ive used it before and it really comfortable for me. I can eat and dont be hungry but at the same time im losing weight and not breaking my calories intake.
5. What is your favourite way to workout? Using the electric bycicle. I have one at home, but with my scheduale, sometimes im too exhausted to do excirse. But in the future i hope i can restart that part of my day.
6. What are some of your goals this month? I would like to be in my 310/320 lbs. by the end of the month, i know its a lot, but sky the limit.
7. What do you expect to gain from the team? Mostly the motivation of everyone working hard to their goals.7 -
@MariEverAfter, welcome and thanks for sharing!
Happy Tuesday everyone! I truly appreciate this group and how motivating everyone is. I didn't lose much weight last month, but I didn't gain any either! So that's a win. I'm hoping to dig deeper this month and increase my exercise, and also be more consistent with my tracking. I did allow myself a day off from keto on Sunday for Halloween and enjoyed some candy, and it was tough to not do it again last night since we had leftover candy, but I jumped back on the wagon which I am really proud of.
It's a cold rainy day here in Oregon, but I'm planning to do a short run today after work which will help my energy and my mood and keep me on track for the remainder of the week.5 -

Yesterday was my first day with my kids back in school after power outages since last Tuesday. I snuck out at lunchtime to the chiropractor for my neck since it has been bothering me since I went back to work from being at the computer all day. I plan to give it a little longer then getting back to working out since ir has been a week and I feel so lazy.5 -
Question for the group. I'm seeing a lot of ads for hormone diets, but I've read somewhere they really don't make difference. Anyone tried one? Results, thoughts? Thanks1

Just got back from an 157 minute walk ...6.35 miles and 970 calories burned ... it was a struggle today since we weren't able to go early in the morning due to the A/C guys being here pretty much all morning/part of the afternoon for upgrading our duct work...we got out there today at around 2:30 and it was 70+ degrees5
