Exercise: Yes, walked 2 miles. Still not able to walk my normal route and a bit sore from yesterdays weight training so taking it a little easy today.
My calf needed a rest anyway as I "felt it there" after Monday so don't wanna tear it again and not be able to walk for 6 weeks! Listening to the body is just as important as what you put in it! ** learned that the hard way.
@jenkindo and @sandkp Thank you for the reminders that we should listen to our body when it is trying to tell us something!2 -

Sometimes you just need to heed the call and eat it. As long as it was only one you will be fine.
@IvanaKirilova Agreed! There was one time I was really craving a Snickers bar. And I happened to have a ton of extra calories to work with that day, so I made the short walk to the grocery store. However, while I was there, I discovered that a protein bar had just as many calories as a Snickers bar, and obviously had more nutrients, so I bought a protein bar instead. Big mistake. It wasn't what I wanted, so when I got home, I still felt unsatisfied and then continued to eat whatever I could get my hands on. I would have been much farther ahead to have had the one Snickers bar!2 -

I'll weigh in tomorrow. I am seriously inflammed from working in the yard yesterday. I kept thinking all day I can't believe how great I feel I'm not hurting at all....and then I went to bed. My hips felt like they were set on fire.

Exactly. When you and your body want it that bad just get it and go on with your day. Not much of a big deal and it's so worth it1 -

Hope you are doing better today. After a hard week in both GoT and Hogwarts my whole body hurts. And I STILL gained this week. Just goes to prove that you can't out exercise a bad diet. 😔3 -

It was not a great day. I slept horribly the night before, I sat on my butt all day, which explains the low step count and the low water consumption (for me). The only bright side is that I did not stuff my face with junk food, which is my usual MO. Partly because I did not have any junk food in the house (thank you, hubby ) and partly because I feel like I am in some sort of "zone" right now. Some days it feels like the "twilight zone", but as long as I am eating in a deficit, I will be in whatever zone is available!

This morning: 179.6
A bit too aggressive, but it was the first week, so I can expect that rate to slow.6 -
