Not a good morning for me .... I have carnitas in the crock pot ...I woke up to all the juices all over the place... then I grab the foil and I cut 2 of my fingers on top from the cutter on the box ughhhhhhhh I really need to go back to bed ..but I have a lot to do today ...I hope everyone is having a great day3

Check in for 12/19:
Steps - 15797. A big number but feet didn't hurt to badly.
Calories - 1833. High number. Dessert made room in the freezer and fridge.
Exercise - walk this morning as it warmed up. 2 hrs 22 minutes to walk 7.65 miles.

I will have to be intentional about my steps today, because I have afternoon work to do and a zoom gathering. And then out with friends for a trivia night. Light on calories for the day time!, saving some for tacos and a margarita!

I swam laps and then did a pool cardio/leg workout. Yesterday wasn’t as quiet as I planned as I had to go pick up gifts I had ordered. I think I am finally finished. I will start wrapping today. I am heading to the pool shortly.

Yesterday was a disaster .... my crock pot went to crock pot heaven...so now I need a new one ... the pork butt was bad so I ended up throwing it away ... thank goodness it was on sale so I only paid 12.00 for it ....glad yesterday is in the past .... got labs done this morning and the rest of my grocery shopping done for our Christmas dinner... My high school friends will be flying in on the 22 I haven't seen them in 7 years ...I am excited to see everyone ... and I am very excited to be hosting again ... Alyssa and I will be baking more treats ...we do gift bags for friends... family and neighbors (we do it every year )3

Calories - 1625 or so. I am still trying to log all of my snacks.
Exercise - gym this morning. 9 machines and 20 minutes bike. Moderate effort.2 -

I am in the crochet zone! I was worried I wouldn’t get my steps in though, so I made a goal to have half done before lunch. Breaking it up was a good strategy I need to get back to a little more water this way.

I double checked my Calories because they seemed too low but they're correct and I didn't feel hungry after dinner so didn't want to push myself to eat more. I'm managing salad 2-3 times a week which is a big change for me.
I took a progress pic last sat and thought I could see some progress.
But then someone posted a pic of me from archery a couple of weeks ago and I hate it. Made me feel so fat again.
I hate pics of me at the best of times. I wonder if I'll ever get to the stage where I can look at a picture of myself without cringing.6 -

I had a great exercise day - yoga is really helping. I have started to receive lots of Christmas goodies from friends and family - I'm happy to tell you that I have taken every single one and given them to my neighbors - LOL. I hope you all have a wonderful day!!4 -

@Pippin20206 I see a difference in those pics. I hope you get to the point where you don't hate the you in your pics. I still have that problem after losing 320 lbs, but it is better than it was. At least I am getting my pic taken now. You are doing an amazing job on your trek.2

Sorry for the big gain team. Haven’t been at this weight for a while. At least back into the habits that helped me. Hadn’t realized how much of a difference 8 pounds makes for me now. When I first started MFP, a 30 lb loss translated into losing 1 pants size. Now, the 8 lbs gain is equal to a pants size.
Has anyone seen ads for body transformation contests? I have seen 2 in the last 3 hours. The timelines were 90 days for the transformation. Got me thinking, if we are consistent 80% of 30 days that would be 24 days. In 90 days, you would be consistent for 72 days. If we can do better that is great. If less than 80%, just work on increasing the days each month. Choose something that you would like to be consistent with and note the days that you are consistent. Decide on your reward for achieving 72 days, 63 days, 54 days of consistency in 90 days. Reward yourself and let us know what you rewarded yourself with. If you would be comfortable, you can post what you are working on.
Lets keep on encouraging and inspiring each other through the new year!4
