    Went over my calorie limit tonight by 300+ with thin-crust pizza and wine. Kinda frustrated that it was over, since all I ate was breakfast AND I got all my steps in. That’s alright, though. My weight is showing a downward trend, and my pants get super loose while walking today. I’ll take those victories. Good night everybody!

    @red1185 thin crust pizza shouldn't have calories. grats on getting your steps in. your trend is in the right direction.
    @tahm42 at least you are getting back to walking right away. great start.

    HAPPY FIRST DAY OF WINTER
    check in for 12/21:
    steps - 8842. went on a shopping trip this morning and walked, instead of driving.
    calories - 1702 or so. good number, but i ate to much dessert. had 2 cuties and 30 grams of chex mix, took my bowl out to the kitchen and grabbed a cookie. dam.
    exercise - 2 mile walk with 2 shopping stops in the first half. walked 3MPH when we were walking. daughter kept telling me to slow down. lol

    I am posting our step results early since I have an hour drive tomorrow to go see my urologist ...It is a pointless appointment since I am not in pain ...all he will say is see ya in 6 months

    Exercise: 95 minutes on elliptical, 15-minute stretching class, 1 hour of yoga
    Steps: 16,246

    Today is my recovery day - I will probably do some stretching and yoga in the evening. I hope you all have a great day!

    Calories no idea ate stuff at a morning tea at work but then didn't have much tonight.

    good evening everyone. another day closer to new year's eve. i hope you have your plans set out.
    check in for 12/22:
    steps - 4023. went and pestered my daughter to make my step goal.
    calories - 1744. a bit more with my small snacking. ugh.
    exercise - gym this afternoon. got in 10 machines and 21 minutes on the bike, moderate effort. still trying to get back to where i was before my back went down. i had some pain after the gym.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 how was your trip? wasted time like you thought?

    I am impressed every time I read your check in. Stretching and yoga are so good for you.

    Have you ever tried logging your day the night beforehand. Then stick to what you logged. I used to do that but it has got away from me lately. This time of year is definitely harder for snacking with all the goodies around. Don’t over do it with your back as you don’t want to be in pain during the holidays.

    I kept putting off going to the pool and then I was just plain too lazy to go. Once I finish my coffee, I am off. I am going to do some laps, leg workout and then lots of stretching. I need 6 more days of exercise to get the December challenge badge. I am cutting it close but I think I can do it.

    Happy Thursday, Downsizers! Today is my last day of work before the long weekend - the stock market is closed tomorrow and so is our office! Here's my check-in for the day:

    Exercise: None - recovery day

    I'm really starting to appreciate my recovery days! Today I hopped right back into exercise - and I have more planned for this evening. I hope you all have a great day!

    I went to see my urologist yesterday ...their office open at 9am nobody was there ... Dr shows up at 9:15am ... I didn't see him until 10 when one of his receptionist showed up ...He asked if I was in pain I said no and he says see ya in 6 months ....at 3pm I had my 2nd vaccine for covid and I got my 1st dose of the shingles vaccine .... I feel like I got ran over by a Mack Truck...both arms are sore.... my head is ready to explode and I just feel crappy ... I hope this changes by Xmas.... As for my 2 best friends their plane got delayed due to weather so I don't know when they are showing up ...going back to laying down

    Steps - 5266. Walked around a mall to get out before the rain.
    Calories - 1797 or close.
    Exercise - none. Waited on the rain to arrive and baked.

    Step yesterday working from home awaiting my covid test results, all good, negative. Spent today doing some last minute shopping which helped to boost my steps.

    Not going to log my calories for the next couple of days I deserve some time off.
