I knew I was going to have a gain on the scale. I played cards with a friend last night and she sent me home with a plate of cookies. Yup, you guessed it, I binged on cookies and bread. Good thing Christmas only comes once a year. 😂 Tonight we are having our Christmas Eve smorgasbord that my daughter puts off. I just picked up a tray of pastries from our local bakery for tonight. I am so thankful that I get to celebrate Christmas with my family this year. We had Covid last year and were quarantined.

Glad you are feeling a bit better. Hubby got his booster today so I hope he does feel ill for Christmas Day. He didn’t get sick for the first two or when we had Covid last year. Sorry your friends can’t come.

I am glad your test was negative and you are not quarantined for Christmas. I am also not logging the today, Saturday and Sunday. I do my best the rest of the year.

Well I have restarted resistance training and daily walking along with eating within calorie budget since Tuesday. Today I weighed 139.4 lbs, almost 6 lbs lighter than Weigh In Tuesday! However it was all so I could enjoy the holiday treats tonight and lunch tomorrow. Weight will probably pop up Sunday but at least I am picking and choosing what and how much to indulge this holiday. That is an improvement from previous years.

Merry Christmas! I ate a little to much and drank a few festive specials. More of the same today. Pool is closed otherwise I would go for a Christmas morning swim. We are off to our daughters soon and then we are all heading to a friends for brunch. Then back to my daughters to wrap gifts. We are having Christmas dinner on Boxing Day. Have a great day everyone.

Happy Boxing Day! Anyone going to hit the sales today? I am trying to get some energy to go to the pool. I am trying to decide whether to grocery shop today or tomorrow. Later we are going to our daughters to, yes you guessed it, eat some more. We are actually having our Christmas Dinner today. I am actually shocked that my weight is down from Friday. I will probably see a delayed gain in the next few days.

Have to change my calories for yesterday. Trying to stay up to watch cartoons led to a snack binge. Ate at least another 200 calories. Dang. At least the scale said I only gained 1 lb yesterday. Time to forgive myself.1
