Good evening everyone.
Check in for 1/8:
Steps - 12729
Calories - about 1801. Had to guess at lunch. Ate at sea world.
Exercise - 4 1/2 hours at sea world. 2 complete laps around the park.
I wore my compression socks for the first time in over a week. Still got "fuzzy" a few times. Wound up with 95 minutes with a high pulse while at sea world. Not a good thing since I wasn't trying to exercise. I hope it gets better. Wednesday is Disneyland. I will be wearing the compression socks every day to get as much benefit as possible.4 -

Thank you Linda. Air fryer is getting worked for sure. Today I made filet mignon wrapped in bacon. The recipe was from skinnytaste. It was so good. Not dry at all which is what worried me most. I’m gonna try a whole chicken next. 🤞🏻

I didn’t think I would close my exercise ring last night. With the Apple Watch if it’s not at the pace of a brisk walk it doesn’t count. I did over 30 minutes of mini walks to hit 21 minutes of exercise. So at 11pm last night I walked around the apartment until I closed the ring. But I got it done. 💪

Thank you. I was hoping for a bigger loss but it’s ok I will take this. I’ve been trying to get back on track but have had a few slip ups. I’m getting there.

I've seen soda stream before, but never really looked into it. I know it sounds odd, but I'm not much of a fan of sparkling water to drink like regular water, it doesn't feel as hydrating to me like regular water. Fizzy drinks don't feel hydrating either, but of course there's particular tastes to them I suppose

Thank you, whilst they are low on calories, I suppose having them isn't the healthiest option, but whilst I get used to smaller portions again, it may just have to be present more so for now. Other than that, I've had a serving or two of BBQ lentil crisps (chips) for 94 cal per 20g serving so a decent amount, they are tasty.

Hi Downsizers Team,
I have been gone for a few months as my husband has been very ill with multiple surgeries and hospital stays. He is now stable (although still dealing with some significant issues). There’s been a lot of stress eating lately… but I’d like to get back on track!
Current weight: 159.6 lbs
@Megan_smartiepants1970 I would like to do the step challenge. Let’s go with 7,500 a day to start for my goal.
I’m thinking about what my overall goals will be for this year. More on that soon.

Good evening everybody! I hope the weekend treated you well. Tomorrow is when I’m making myself get back on track with steps, and watching what I eat, etc. I’m not going to stop being me: eating bread and chocolate and drinking wine, but i will make sure that I’m back to doing activities to try and offset those calories (while also reducing that intake).
I also wanted to share some personal news - not weight-related. I hope that’s ok - if not, just delete this post. I became a travel agent (as a side job - still a teacher) in November - I’m learning A TON.
My best friend and I are planning to take a trip to Hawaii this summer (if all goes according to plan). So, I just completed part 1 of 3 to become a Hawaii Destination Specialist! i got a certificate and everything! I’m very excited! By the end of the program I will know all there is to know about Hawaii and all the different islands.
This is not a venture I ever planned to take, but I loooooove to travel, so this seemed like a pretty logical next step. Anyway…I was excited, and wanted to share. I hope everyone has a wonderful week.7 -

How exciting for you!! Hawaii is amazing. We have family there and have been, seriously, countless times. I don't know if you are playing the Bingo game, but I'm sure your new adventure on becoming a travel agent must check one of the boxes!!

good morning, its cold here in the UK and such a struggle to actually get moving...i have been planning most days to get to the gym and its not surfaced so this week going to make an extra special effort and just force myself to go...here's hoping! ..least I'm back on the calorie counting and so far so good I know once I've had a good week it will be full on with not much effort.4

Hi all, just like that and we're back for our second weigh in of the year!
Whatever caused this woosh who knows, just needs to keep going down this way!
Granted we all know weight loss isn't easy and there is a multitude of reason why the scales go up and down, but isn't it interesting how we can get caught up on heading into bigger 10's in one week, but then things like this can happen and can be in the previous 10's the next? It's quite a rollercoaster.
Whatever happens as long as we keep going, we can achieve success in whatever form that looks like for us, including the NSV's.
