After being in the hospital for a UTI and a small bowel obstruction, physical therapy has been coming to my house. The obstruction is not there anymore. They think that I ate something and that it got stuck. Anyway, the exercises I have to practice every day are tiresome. I was told that the other clients call the physical therapist a "drill sergeant"! I told her that she is agonizing.

I like to do the exercises before bed.

I did a 48 minute walk today. 2.5 miles. Then regular walking throughout the day but nothing substantial as I have a desk job.

    Today 8/30/22 Tuesday

I walk/jogged for 50 minutes. I did a pace of 18"03. Not bad. I did that for 2.72 miles. Almost a 5K. I should have kept going and jogged more.

    Wednesday 8/31/22

Today I walk/jogged 2.60 miles at a 18"27 pace for 46 minutes. It was a little slower but my boyfriend's Mom called while we were walking and she can talk your ear off. Cannot jog while she is on the phone. To hard to speak.

I practiced my home physical therapy which is logged in as aerobics, low impact, for 3 reps for each exercise.

    Friday 9/2/22 I went for a 20 minute walk.
Saturday 9/3/22 I went for a 48 minute hike. I am trying to stay active. I don't want days where I don't do anything.

    Sunday 9/4

    Went for a short walk

    Monday 9/5

No exercise today unless you count grocery shopping. That took all of 20 minutes. So we did not get much walking in there. I need to exercise right away in the morning. I cannot delay. I feel so bound up that I need to do something.

We did a 48 minute brisk paced walk. Almost jogging in some spots. So we burned a lot of calories.

    Yesterday Friday 9/9/22

I went to the gym and did the Fatburn training module on the recumbent bike. Man did it kick my butt. My boyfriend went with me and did it too. It kicked his butt too. It was a good workout. I loved it. Going to go back and do it again.
