Surprised that I was under. I was hungry All. Day. Long. I kept eating small snacks hoping THIS ONE is going to put an end to it. I really struggle in the late afternoon between 2-4. I've tried a little cheese and pepperoni hoping the protein/fat combo will do it. I've tried mixing SF Swiss Miss hot chocolate into my afternoon coffee will work in case I just need a chocolate fix. So far nothing has worked. :/

I am feeling that hunger today. I wish I could ignore it but my tummy keeps growling.

    Are you trying keto?
If so add fat! Or add protein! They both help me a butt-ton!!

They aren't helping me a lot right now. :-/ See the cheese & pepperoni comment above. I don't keto, but keep my carbs below 75g. I like fruit and veggies to much to go down to keto levels. That and of course my PS coffe mate ;) But at least that is SF. I am working now on moving my lunch later in the day. For years (and I'm talking 20+) I've eaten lunch at 1100 so I'm trying to slide it closer to 12. We are creatures of habit though and when 11 rolls around my tummy is looking for it's grilled chicken. :)

I opted to go to pool instead of exercise. Nope I didn’t do any water movement. 😆 then I went out to eat with hubby went over by a little bit. I had so much schoolwork after that so I didn’t exercise. As of this morning im 240.2 lbs. I can see myself getting back to my precruise weight by Saturday. I work today so now exercise but I will log everything regardless

    Track: yes & yes
    Calories: yes & yes
Exercise: yes (38 minutes of walking) & no (I may have overdone it yesterday)
Goals/Day/Comments: I wasn’t feeling too well by yesterday noon, so I think I overdid my outdoor walking exercise. I’m restricted in my movements because of cataract surgery (no lifting, straining, or bending over), so I’m trying to take it easier today. I should have drunk more water yesterday also.

@susanshaughnessy80 definitely take a rest day. Better to take a break than set back your recovery.

Had one of those days at work where the 💩 hit the fan and was glued to my desk all day. I only got about 3500 steps so earned few exercise calories PLUS got into the stress food when my 3:00 munchies hit. 😯. Hoping I didn't do too much damage for weigh in tomorrow. 😟

Have a good night everyone and here's to a better tomorrow. 😊

Keto has been going well for me these past two weeks. Today I was slightly over my carb goal, but it was from my salad and I dont feel "guilty"(crispy buffalo chicken, yum!) I should be at spin right now but I tweaked my back slightly at kickboxing last night. Hoping that the heating pad and active recovery day helps, and I can get back to the gym for Saturdays morning class.

Tomorrow is weigh day, we'll see how this week went!

    @Smlisley great couple of days!

Thanks! I was working downtown and I took the train. So instead of taking the subway back to my commuter train I decided to get a walk in. I'm going to have to do something else today because I had to drive in and missed the walk.

Going back to gym tomorrow. I have to squeeze all the workout in because I work Monday and Tuesday. I work in two different places right now, this is hospital one hour away. So it’s a long day for me. No exercise those two days!

It was, thanks! :) I did ended up eating later in the evening for movie night. It’s going to take me longer than expected to transition to intermittent fasting as a complete lifestyle. I have been staying under net daily calorie goal in the meantime :)

Great job Amber!! Logging is absolutely the best thing you can do for yourself! You don’t need to be perfect either.. We’re all just learning our ways with food and how certain foods can have their way with us!
The other day I ate like 1500 calories OVER my limit and I was sick about it. I ate and then logged, ate then logged.. it was definitely less fun to binge this way but it helped me stay anchored in the reality of what I was doing to myself. I was seeing in “real-time” how quickly I was undoing months and months of progress ..and I just stopped.

Thank you for that! I truly appreciate any advice. Binge eating is the thing that I’m constantly struggling with. When I get urges to binge, it’s sometimes hard to talk myself out of the binge. Like just before a binge, I get the battle thoughts of “you can just start over tomorrow.” Or “you know you want that food. You’re doing so well, you can splurge.” I seriously hate it. The only way I have “control”, is when I’m logging cuz when I see how many calories I consume, it makes it less likely for me to binge. But like you said, I need to log everything. The good the bad and the ugly! I just get so discouraged sometimes…

However, I am proud of myself today! I was having my binge eating thoughts this morning and I got through it by choosing water instead of a super high calorie coffee. I just need to tell myself that in the long run, I need to choose the things to nourish my body.

@DaffyGirl88 thanks! I've been trying to be super focused! The thing is, my "staycation" starts today, so I'll have to try even harder this coming week!

    Week 2 weigh in:
    March SW: 175.2
    PW: 171.4
    CW: 169.1
    Week 2 loss: 2.3lb
    March loss: 6.1lb

I'm hoping I'm feeling good enough to head to boxing tomorrow morning, but we may have other things that need to be done. Hubby and I will go to the gym after errands, if we need to :) I also have a 2000 piece puzzle to work on later tomorrow.
