    Good Evening Everyone!

I do use a granny cart if I know I will need it. There's been many times I have wished I had it with me LoL 🤣.

Today was a stress filled day. Not going to get in to that part of my day. Let's just say by the time I had lunch I ordered delivery from Booster Juice. I am proud of myself for having a healthy lunch compared to the less healthy choices I would have normally went for. I also ended up missing breakfast. Got lots of movement so I am happy about that. Mailed my 4th exam off today.

It's been a rather busy day today but I got a lot done and a lot of steps in as well. Over 10,000 according to my Iwatch. Stopped at Denny's after a walk with my sister Alice and had my usual from the seniors menu. Walked the Bike/pedestrian over pass along the skytrain to Richmond. Got to the level part and then turned around and came back. Both of us were tired.

@Bookienj,,, LOL AND YOU JUST HAD to send the rain on herah huh? LOLOL!! Ohhh it's always interesting living in the Northeast!! We get almost every storm from the west and the south. ON THE PLUS side, it's rare we need to worry about wild fires that are like out west! Guess we are okay with the rain!
@Cseguin2 ,,, SO sorry it's been a stressful day, but the stress also gave you a chance to make choices, and YOU DID A GREAT CHOICE!! That's a HUGE WOOHOO!!! PLUS all the movement and also the 4th exam being mailed!! WOW you are making GREAT STRIDES!! WTG!
@Lindiemaep ,,, I'd be a LIAR if I didn't say we MISS YOU!! I understand why, you know that, and I totally support you 10000%%% times over!! Oh you KNOW I LOVE buildings, bridges are fun too!
I see the draw bridge from where I live. I'm grateful when it's very backed up for a ship coming through at a not so great time because I am NOT ON IT!! YO!!! IT can take 25 mins from the moment the light turns red, it starts to go up, the ship goes under/through it, the bridge comes back down, finally the light turns green.

@Mango1960 did you accept your invitation to your team? To do so, please click on the Community Tab, than onto the darker blue line, GROUPS. As soon as you do that you'll see your invite right there waiting for you. If not please write to @Hicim705 and she can resend it.
@bookienj,, LOLOL PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT!!! LOL we've had RAIN SINCE Weds and it'll go right on through Saturday on and off. When I got up last night to use the bathroom, I TRIPPED cause my feet turned to DUCK FEET!!!
Today I was cleared for foot surgery, now for the date to be set. LOL my foot Dr is backwards, usually you get the date than you get cleared. I had broken a toe, than managed during the fall to chip the bone. It's not healed. It'll be an easy enough one to heal from.

@Dianedoessmiles1 BWHAHAHAHA on the rain, you know I live in RAINCOUVER lol aka Vancouver !! I love the rain, it fills the watersheds so we can have water and the birds have a shower and the trees have a drink. There is so much benefit to water, but I am sure you know that. Naturally when there is too much, it can be dangerous as in the flooding we have had this past fall in the Abbotsford area. Are you ready?? I am ready for the 9th ! and the 15th as well. I enjoyed the walk with my sister. Now I don't have to do that for a while, its not my kind of walk, I prefer flatlands ... and my back is still sore !!
Hello to all and have a wonderful Friday and a great start tomorrow !!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today has been a topical spring day with some sun and showers on and off. It was chilly enough to wear my winter coat and mitts. Went with my Son to his orthodontics appointment. We now know the plan and cost for most of it. We now have to wait to talk to the surgeon as in about a year from now he needs to have surgery to correct his jaw. He is scared about the whole thing but he feels more comfortable about everything the more they talk to him about it. I told him that if need be he can recoup at my place. Also took him out for lunch afterwards. Ended up not working as I would have been late and my client choose to skip this week. Ran to the grocery store to grab a few things. Then went home to do my exercise. Tomorrow is looking to be a fun day.

@Patti241 ,, HI Patti!! DId you get a LOT of rain today? YO we sure did!! LOL@Lindiemaep ,, RAINcouver!! I DID laugh to hard at that!!! Indeed the 15th with the reading starting tomorrow, as is the challenge. It'll be a good day!
    @Macrat12,, HI Sarah!
@Cormierannie,, HI To you also Annie!!
@Margo1960 ,,, I saw you were able to get on with your team! WTG!!! We take off in the AM!! Please please reach out to your leaders if it's confusing, and it was for most of us when we first started. I was so lost for over the entire first weeks!! But the team leaders were GREAT TO me, and yours are same. Hitting the chat on your team may help also with questions, and if you wish here too!! We all want you to achieve that dream!
@Cseguin2,,, It's good your S knows what'll go on. Indeed our minds can go SO CRAZY with stuff that'd not ever happen. Sure hope they'll help him so he's as comfy as he can be. Nice that you got a few errands done! WTG!!

@Patti241 ,,,, I am not sure how much rain we got, but it was more than I care for! Yesterday many of the roads around here had deep puddles. I HAD to go through one because there was no way to turn around, but it wasn't deep enough to do any damage to the car, just enough that I slowed down a lot!
@Bookienj we need these!! As does @Patti241 LOL DUCK FEET SLIPPERS!
    hi7pcx1pyuen.png
Awwww TY for the well wishes. I do not have the date yet, knowing the way things go,, LOL Covid will hit again, and I'll end up waiting for the foot surgery until December!! OOPS NO!! Oh yeah from Oct through March are COVID months, so about a year from now. With the GI system that may be a surgery also, but its not an elective surgery since it's interfering with my breathing. BE NICE if they did them both at the same time! It may not mean surgery, but the GI Dr already said he thinks it's the way it'll go.
WE ARE NOW UP IN THE AIR!! WOOHOO!! Are you all enjoying your team flights? Any questions? Today a friend and I walked around Walmart since it was ,, YUP RAINING on and off. We did get to laughing pretty hard, when as we checked out (after 115 mins of walking! YO!) with our few things it started to pour and pour HARD!! It was fast though, so we didn't really get that wet.
How has your exercise gone today? Remember if you are struggling at all PLEASE let your leaders know. That's one of the reasons we are here. We enjoying passing along what we've learned. TY TY TY TY TY for helping your team plane GO FORWARD!!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Little bit of snow this morning on my way to the farmers market. Went with a couple of friends and then went out for breakfast. Had a good chat as well. Usually we hang out at her house and Hubby is usually there. Need girls time more often. Also exercised and played skipbo with Hubby.

Soup is great food. Broth-based (bone broth) is the best. While I missed my cilantro and bean sprouts in my walk to the grocery store, i enjoyed a pho-like soup filled with freggies.

Soup, salads, and freggies are my "go to" to help me make the best "me" in this challenge.

I forgot to tell you that Amigo had an issue at the vets last week when Gene took him to get clipped - he had an ingrown nail - not on the pads but on the upper part of his paws ( not sure what that area is called) and the tech cut it too short, it bled and then the vet had to look at it and order a prescription of antibiotics and then charged a consultation fee for his own tec's mistake, Gene was livid and called them saying he would never bring his cat back there that they hurt him. I explained to Gene that if an ingrown toe nail on a human hurts to cut it out then it would hurt a cat too and cat's are different. Anyway Amigo is still favoring that pawarm ? but can stretch it, walk, and that, he just won't let us tough it or look at the nail area. Gene said when they brought him back to the reception area, that Amigo was hissing and growling so Gene knew it hurt the cat!
Well I hope all are off to a good start, or good enough, progress, not perfection eh !!

@Marg750me ,,, HI Marg!! How's it going? Are you enjoying our first days?
@Lindiemaep,,,,, I enjoyed our talk today also. Such HOPE! UGH on poor Amigo!! I'd not of paid that bill, I would told them "you made the error. You can either take off the charge, or I'll contact a lawyer since it was your error, and you did hurt my cat (in the US pets are not considered "legally" family, they are "Property" if someone messed up my lawn instead of fixing it, I'd not pay for that). Oh I was so unhappy about Izzy's visit though they didn't hurt her ,,, it did clearly stress her unnecessarily. But, we've got that now, before I go the next time, I call and see if the vet is on time (I'll call them 15 mins ahead of time, I am only 5 mins away from putting her in the carrier,, it's a backpack type on wheels for pets ,, it has so many places she can see out). I will not ever put into a waiting area of 99% Dogs. They moved into a much bigger area. Now it's normal to have 5 to 7 pets being seen at the same time, I am going to see if I can find a small vet office. PRETTY Pictures!!
@Patt241,, today it's FINALLY not raining, it's 54 feels like 49 with the winds gusting at 22, partly cloudy. So much nicer. I enjoyed being outside briefly today. SOON I NEED to get OFF the computer and get some exercise IN!! Think I'll do that now. I'll see ya on PS4L later.

    Good Evening Everyone!

Today was a beautiful spring day. Got to wear a lighter jacket. Got lots of movement today. On top of my workouts and walk hubby and I played Wii sports and marched during the other person's turn. Did a little studying but need to get my study area cleaned. Studying in bed isn't working well as I start to fall asleep.

MFP is finally feeling a bit more comfortable. I keyed in my first recipe yesterday and added two groupings (recipes) today. There really is hope in managing this new social network to help meet our healthy goals. Tracked successfully for two days now.

While I add heavier weight foods at each meal to aid in satiety, I use less of some of my favorites: a half pat of butter will due after having added back a pat or two regularly to garlic toast or grilled cheese I could eat peanut butter by the spoonful, but an making sure I scale it back to less than 2T makes a lower calorie snack:

    Love this "Brownie's troop" treat.

On a four day streak of meeting my goals to be a better me.

    Find your joy this day!

@Cseguin2 ,,, WOOHOO on the activity!! WTG!!! I am about to go and do a youtube chair, 70s music video!! Plus I've done some walking today (25 mins) and 10 mins of movement while getting RID of stuff! YEAH YEAH YEAH!! THe more we move, the more we burn off! GOOO ALL OF US!! WTG!! It feels so FREEING to get RID of "STUFF" we do not use on a regular basis.
@EjoyEvelyn ,, YUMMY adjustments and without cutting your favorites!! WTG!! Do you find it easy to import recipes onto MFP? I did a blog the other day about how to do easily. So far I've have had no issues with it.

OFF I GO to do a 20 ish min video and ENJOY IT TOO! And without getting more exhausted on top of that.

It's a beautiful sunny Monday however the wind is very very cold - so need a winter jacket unless in the car. Yesterday turned out to be very busy. Gene waited at Mr Lube to have his tires changed from the winter ones - one hour in line then how ever long on the lift - I went for a walk to Superstore and brought back a sub for him to eat, but it turns out he only gets a certain bread, that is soft so it never got eaten. I told him to eat the meat and veggies and never mind the bread, it would be better then the popcorn he had eaten earlier - well he's still got the sub in the fridge, I ate my half lol Then we went and got Amigo a new cat litter box. I wanted an open one - it was huge lol like a mini bathtub but lots of room for the cat, but Gene chose a blue one like a carrier with a door that he can push open either way - well guess what, yup, Amigo thought it WAS a carrier and refused to go in. Gene left the door up and then Amgio had no problem going inside. We will see if he stops pooping elsewhere.
Then I got invited to my daughter's for a lasagna dinner on the 24th - she makes a really good lasagna and she is doing extra so we can take some home. Gene sent her 45.00 to help pay for the ingrediences. She and Charise, my granddaughter, will be baking it up. I just need to show up and enjoy the evening.
This morning I was awake at 3:30 am could not get back to sleep so got up at 4 and fed the cat, did my bible reading, then at 530 went and started a load of laundry. After it was in the dryer I went and started my lamb roast and it turned out great. I saved the roast drippings for another use another time and I separated that into 3 different containers. All sliced up and cooling on the counter before putting in fridge/freezer.
Have all that done, now time to do something else, I think we will be going to Canadian Tire later, Gene was not happy about the 80.00 it cost to switch out tires and then the guy never put them in the trunck right so he was peeved about that. He went to Canadian Tire and bought a hydrolic lift but it is too high for his car, his car is low, then he thought he could just make shift something to raise the car up then use the hydrolic, I suggested safety first, take the hydrolic back and get the right one. So that's what will be happening later. He tends to go from a to z with his thinking/thought process and misses the inbetween. He feels he pictures it right in his thinking and then does not foresee issues.
I hope everyone is settling into the first week of the challenge and remembers to post if you need help/encouragement/advise/suggestions - don't be shy or afraid to ask eh !
Have a Mooving Monday - move move move !!
