I had another Afib heart event on Sunday when I went to the gym, so I had to call it a day. I may have been dehydrated. Still waiting on my doctor's appointment this month to talk to my doctor about it. I've had it twice now a month apart.6 -

We have had a couple of raining days, so I did not get an evening walk in the last two nights. Today the sky looks kinda clearer lol, so I hope to walk this evening. Enjoy your Wednesday everybody.2 -

I need to move more but I have zero energy lately. I can't wait for my baby to start sleeping throughout the night. Having a newborn at 35 is exhausting🤣🤣
I can imagine! I find my nieces and nephews exhausting compared to when my own were small and I’m 39
I have an almost 3 yr old and a 3 month old. I don't sleep during the night hardly and am trying to keep up with a toddler during the day. Most days I just want to curl up on the couch with a book and not move lol5 -

Finally feeling a bit more in control, which is a relief. I'm not 100% on track, but not quite so scared about completely falling off the wagon. I'm five pounds above my low weight which I recorded on April 12th at 188. My sister and I are back to hiking on Sundays, which is something I absolutely love. And...I feel great. Hopeful to hit a new low by the end of the month.8 -
It’s great to see so many Shape Shifters using the Habit Tracker @Pupowl, @LaurieWrobo, @JenHul, and Susanna527!
Today, I realized that I haven’t been using it this month so I just filled in some goals for the June. I’ll start using the tracker today. Here’s the link in case anyone else is interested:

Yesterday, I was wondering how Tinus’ appointment went at the vet, @Pupowl. So, I appreciate @CassandraW checking in —
I hope everything is alright with both of you, and Tinus is on the mend ❤️🩹.1 -

Thanks for checking in and sorry to leave you all hanging! The vet found one of the nails on his front paws was almost gone and he had some bruising there too. So maybe he got stuck somewhere at night when I was sleeping, because I never saw anything. While I did look over his paws, he has a lot of hair, so I mostly hunted down his toes by feeling for his nails and then checking it. But since this toe only has a tiny stump, I guess I didn't feel it and skipped over it. Next time I will make sure to count his toes as well! It wouldn't have mattered for the plan of action either way if I did see it. He got a last dose of painkillers this morning. The vet said it could take a few weeks to heal completely, but he should already be walking better, so we will see tomorrow. She couldn't really explain why he suddenly got so much worse in a few hours on Saturday, but there was also nothing else she found physically, so I will just assume this was the problem. Unfortunately, he is still throwing up hairballs too often so we may need to go back to the vet next week. I am gonna wait and see how this weekend goes.
I have been really tired and my headaches have been a constant companion so that is not great. I sometimes also go a bit into hermit mode and don't want to deal with people and being social, so I haven't been to the gym so far this week and probably wont on Saturday either. This usually goes away after a few days, but for now I will just stay at home with Tinus.
Hope you are both doing well!5 -

My doctor fit me in this morning. I am going to have to wear a heart monitor for a month. I also have to get an echocardiogram and bloodwork done in the next few days. Yay for getting older.8 -
Thanks for the updates @Pupowl and @Jax_Grim. I was trying to remember when you said your appointment with the cardiologist was taking place - and searched through the posts fro the end of May and early June so I could check in with you after the appointment. I’m so glad to hear they fit it an appointment for you so you can start your monitoring. I remember the doctors thought I had a heart murmur as a child and it was so frustrating to wait. The data collection brings you one step closer to resolution! I hope it turns out to be nothing serious. In my case, everything was fine but it’s a scary experience.
I try not to worry while waiting for a diagnosis because there’s nothing worrying can help with — but that’s easier said than done!
I hope everyone feels better soon. Sending healing thoughts to Shape Shifters, family members (e.g., your husband @LaurieWrobo) and all other loved ones (including cats). ❤️🩹

Thanks for the updates @Jax_Grim and @Pupowl. Jax_Grim, wishing you all the best with your upcoming tests and Pupowl, hoping you feel better soon.
I'm off to try and open my Wayfair box - I ordered a chair online (first time I ever used Wayfair or even ordered something like furniture online). Put off opening it for 2 days because I haven't felt well, but I'm tired of seeing this giant box in my living room!
