Hi guys! I have been in the African bush without internet for ages but I'm making my way back toward civilization. I'm still in Africa for a couple more days but at least I'm in a hotel and it has WiFi. This has been an amazing trip, part safari and part community service. Pictures of the mud hut we helped build and some animals.
It has been hard to do measurable exercise but I have managed to meet my very modest goal of 15 miles.

@JANET - Glad you're having such an amazing time! Love the photos!
I did a quick 1.0 mile walking sprint on the treadmill last night to put me at 91/90.
ETA: Added 6.0 miles on the stationary bike tonight.

Dave, I can only go out in the morning now. When Pat was walking with me we would go out when it was still dark but I won't do that by myself. It's 6:32 p.m. and 91 degrees out there. SUNSHINE!!!!
Adding 17.57 miles
The lack of miles is because we had two birthdays this weekend and I had to cook and wrap presents a lot!! It was fun. A bit too much food, though.

I walked 4 miles today, viewing both the Zimbabwe and Zambian side of Victoria Falls. That's 19/15. I start for home tomorrow, but it will take me 3 days to get there.

@Janet wonderful photos and what amazing memories you will have made. Thanks for sharing
@Dave - a problem with the knee Wouldn't matter but was planning on doing the virtual London Marathon and now missed so many runs. Cycling and deep water jogging are not the same.

CONGRATS on making GOAL to @CLEPANT and @GRANDMAJACKIE!!!
@LEANZ - Ugh, sorry to hear that. It's a bummer when our bodies don't let us do the things we want them to do!
I still need to get a bike ride or something in tonight. Hope to check back in with some miles.
Dave
