I've been lovin' my nature walks before connecting with my walking group at the pavillion. We finally remembered to bring feed-mill peanuts to share with about two dozen chipmunks. Such fun!

I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, and enjoying what ever activities you have planned. It was a quiet day here today, tomorrow Gene will leave with his cousin and Aunt to go camping for a couple of days - he's been so stoked by it, he's been shopping, planning, shopping, loading the car and all for a 2 hour drive, lol well at least it is not a 2 hour tour eh ? I might get energetic while he is gone and do some well needed cleaning/organizing/turfing, we will see how the joints feel. The hips are not cooperating this weekend, maybe too much wheat products. ... Amigo will be here to help me, and maybe even stay in his tree or on my bed out of the way. He's curled up in a ball now. He's so funny, when he gets on the bed, he comes to the corner closest to the desk and meows till I turn around and go pet him.
He does not like the camera but I get him when I say his name and he looks. His original name was Cilantro but he does not answer to that name. He'll be on my bed till bedtime and treats will be his reward for getting off.
I tried making some 4 ingredient cookies this afternoon but the batter was not cooking well in the middle of the cookie, I think too much banana and maybe the baking powder lost it's touch as it was expired in '21 - only used 1/2 tsp. I like the recipe I will try it again another time.
I have been researching for a new mattrice for my bed - I have a Kingsdown Chanel, twin but it is a height of 14 inches and I need one not so high - I looked at Saatva - its all foam but suppose to be environmentally friendly, anyone hear of them or tried them? I can get another Kingsdown, but thought I would look around. I also thought of taking the bed off the frame that would be maybe 3-4 inches different in height. I thought of a stool, sure one more thing to trip over besides my slippers for the night potty run.. na... I'll keep looking and planning.
Last night I went to Fraser River Park and stayed till the skeeters came out then my friend and I headed home, it's so peaceful there, even with all the dogs and they always want to slobber on me yuk ... oh well.. lol There's a couple of black berry bushes and my friend picked some and said they were really good. A couple of weeks ago when the Pine trees were dripping their sap, she tried it and said it was very sweet, she tries things out in the parks all the time. Some roses leave a bud you can eat too, but I am not that adventurous !!
Can you hear the surf in that one picture? That boat went by and the surf it left was awesome, we both enjoyed just listening to it. Then the skeeters started hitting so we knew it was time to go.
I need to go report my numbers for today. Have a great morning tomorrow as some of you will be up before me !!

@Lindiemaep ,,, its not a cheap bed, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE my sleep number bed. I love it set on 45 so it's quite soft, a friend stayed over (LOL I am so mean! I KNEW She hated a soft mattress. She came into the place, went over the bed, touched and declared "I CAN NOT SLEEP ON THAT!! Than I put it up to 100 and "NOW THAT"S PERFECT! For her, yeah, HARD as a ROCK!! The rock might even be more giving. If you want a foundation that goes up and down (I DO NOW WANT ONE!) I'd suggest getting one from a different place, just because they charge so much, and even with the money there, WHY DO THAT??? My Dad told us years ago "SHOP around! ALWAYS SHOP AROUND." He was right of course.4

good afternoon everyone! it is a beautiful, warm and sunny day here today. my daughter says hi to all. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! we are all keeping cool here. i have been for a walk and i feel great! i will be doing some dancing later on. i dropped off some extra food to the local food bank bin at the grocery store near my place. i like to help others whenever i can. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.2

@Lindiemaep ,,, Had a great day yesterday, meeting and after that was another one for cart witnessing. WOOOHOO WANNA come and do ANY of our floors? Mine are done weekly, I am grateful for the help. Here's to an AWESOME MONDAY for us all!! SO FAR so GOOD!! Though we are in the 80's AGAIN!! LOL To me that's simply not good, to hot! The humidity and dew points are also up.2 -
good afternoon everyone! it is a warm and mostly sunny day here today. my daughter says hi to all. both budgie birds are doing well and say cheep, cheep! we are all staying well hydrated and are keeping cool. i got in my strength training workout earlier this morning and i feel great! i got in a walk earlier this afternoon and i enjoyed it. i will be doing some dancing later on tonight. i had my eye checkup today and i am getting a new pair of glasses. have a great day, everyone! take care and stay safe.1

Good Evening Everyone!
Today is hot, humid and rainy on and off. Completed all planned workouts except my morning walk as it was raining and to windy for an umbrella. Working on trying to get everything done and ready for tomorrow. I think I procrastinated a little to long. Oh well. Have been struggling with calories this week so not sure about my weigh-in at TOPS tomorrow. Just glad I get to go. I know how hard I have tried and how hard I have worked out. Not having the best dinner tonight but will at least be in range as long as I stick to the plan.1 -

@Cseguin2 ,,, OH I WANT THIS HEAT GONE!! It's not interested though in leaving nearly as fast as I WANT! LOL give me a few low 70s and high 60s,, ahhh with at night from the high 40s to 50s. I am GOOD with that! It'll come. Hope everything goes well tomorrow. Wishing you well at TOPS. I'm waiting for the challenge to be over, and than on that following Thurs we are going to the Clambake!! YUMMY PLACE!! It'll be easier when the kids are in school since that place in the heat of tourist season is CRAZY AS CAN BE!!2
