I’ve decided to give intermittent fasting a try. Not sure how it will go. I’m doing 14:10. 14 hrs fasting and 10 hrs eating. So far in the 3 days I’ve done it my only problem is I’m hungry. Hopefully that will go away soon. Have a good day everyone.3 -

Tracked: yes
Calories: under
Exercise: I play volleyball and basketball in the winter and softball in the summer
Comments: I am just getting started back to watching my food intake.
Goal is to lose 30 lbs. My last two jobs were at home being a Covid tracer. I kept in shape by biking on a stationary desk type desk. I've gained 20 lbs since that job ended. I am starting a new job next week at a desk so I have no idea what direction my weight will head.
I've been in a few biggest loser groups here before and had much success.
Let me know if I can help anyone. I have been a Fitbit advocate for many years.
Thanks for listening.
Peace to all!
Bobby T.
Welcome Bobby! Maybe you can do some biking at your desk like before?1 -

Tracked: Yes
Calories: Surprised I was under
Exercise: 0 x Walks, only 4,659 steps
Comments: I woke up early enough for a walk, however it was raining, and being the wimp that I am, I skipped it.Eating was good throughout the day, knew I couldn't overdue it because I wasn't going to have my exercise calories to lean into... after dinner I really overdid it... but somehow was still just under... I need to stop the after dinner snacking!

Exercise: 0 x Walks, only 3,495 steps
Comments: Raining again today. I'm not feeling bad about missing my walks though, I am taking advantage and sleeping in an extra 30+ minutes. The experts say sleep is also very important! I did much better last night on keeping the after dinner snacking under control. I love the Trader Joes Vanilla Meringues! So sweet, crunchy, and 4 fairly large ones for only 90 calories!3 -
on the subject of - Eggs! My lunch today is:
1/2 c. liquid egg whites, cooked in the microwave
2 Tbs monterey jack cheese, (would have worked with just 1)
1/4 avocado
2 Tbs pico de gallo
salt & pepper
Really yummy and easy to make at work... just about 200 calories & 18 grams protein.
What are you eating today?
