I am at goal and in maintenance. I am nervous about this as I never have tried to maintain a weight in my life.

Congratulations again! My past experience has been that losing the weight is easy compared to maintenance! I've failed over and over again and regained the weight. I'm determined to keep it off this time ... please share your experiences as I'll be in the same situation by the end of the year!

Thank you! Getting back on track the very next day is so important after indulging on a special holiday. So by doing that it shows how invested you are to your weight loss. I know in the past it would take me days to get back on track. Well done!

Yesterday I spent a lot of time reflecting on the last four years. There are so many people I need to thank for supporting me through this journey. I owe a big thanks to my doctor who convinced me to allow her to refer me to the eating disorder clinic. Then my therapist at the clinic who helped me understand my binge eating and gave me the tools to help tame that monster.
The next big thank you goes to each and everyone of you. Without this group and particularly the Downsizers team I never would be at this point. The advice you have given, having patience with me during times I struggled and would gain weight and most of all never letting me quit has been such an important part of my journey. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
I also have to send a big thank you to my friends. I can’t forget my husband. He played a big part in my success.

I wish I hadn’t got 2 shots together. I started running a fever around midnight and have terrible body aches. It’s bad timing as we are supposed to take our granddaughters for breakfast and then decorate our tree. I may skip the breakfast and they can decorate after.

I will never jump out of a plane again. I jumped 3 times and broke my leg. While it is peaceful once your parachute opens, I was terrified of climbing out of the plane. I am terrified of heights. Glad I did it but never again.1 -
