Recap: Struggling week....Started off rough, then had a really good Tuesday...back on track I thought. Then husband wanted to go out to dinner on Wednesday, we did. Bread should only be available upon request. Choices weren't the best. Thursday was ok and here we are at today....Going to spend the weekend planning for a good week to come.

A week at my mums with 2 meals out, a few glasses of wine and obviously a few to many carb laden treats! Total gain in 9 days was 12lb!! Relatively happy to report I've lost 6.7lb in 4 days! Day 2 of a stinking headache as I drop all those stored carbs and water!!

This day has gotten away from me. I haven’t done any exercise today so I am going to do some walking before my husband gets home. Inside because it is snowing again. Someone needs to let the weatherman know it’s spring.

On Tuesday I weighed 146.8 but I knew it would go up. I have a weird week coming. Tomorrow we are going to my daughters for something to eat plus cake. I am away Monday for the night. So several meals will be eaten in restaurants.

I have a busy day today. We have an appointment with the financial advisor and then we are heading to my daughters for a belated birthday celebration for my husband. They were ill two weeks ago and us last week so it got delayed. I am going to try and fit some walking in. I have to get 3 swims in this week so I get my Apple badge.
I have very mixed feelings about the coming week. My last week as captain. Not sure what weight loss will look like without that in my life.

😂 Hi! Still here but rough week. My cousin passed away on Sunday Morning and my uncle is not expected to survive the weekend. And to add to it I have something going on that my doctor is trying to figure out. I’ve been voiding blood with clots. Culture is negative though for UTI and CT negative for kidney stones or other infections. 🤷♀️. So yes, I’ve been absent here but still in the game. Not much of a loss at all this week but I call it a win. Have a great weekend!2 -

Thank you ... I knew about the x-rays for my hips (stupid hip dysplasia) the ultra sound threw me off though it was for my thyroid ..crossing fingers that I do not have to go on thyroid medicine
I have been on thyroid medication foe almost 40 years. Truthfully, I don’t even think about it. I have a test once a year or more often if the doctor thinks it might be low again. Usually, if I get depressed they check it as it could be a low thyroid. Good luck getting it figured out.

I am so sorry for your loss. Cousins are our first friends in life. I cherish the time I spent with mine. Having weight loss when going through so much stress is definitely a win. I hope they figure out what is going on. Keep us posted.inshapeCK

When you have done the leadership thing since 2019 it’s not a stretch to wonder if it is the key to your success. I know my family and friends have wondered if it will affect my weight loss/maintaining. I guess being a motivator/captain has been to my weight loss what Monte has been to yours. I guess we will find out over the next month. @Megan_smartiepants1970 has promised to kick my butt if I stray. Also I have seen a few people over the last 5 years slowly move away from the group once getting to goal and gained weight back.2
