I went to the pool this morning. Forgot to start my watch with the water aerobics so I had to enter it manually. I am pretty well over the bug just tired but I had a terrible sleep last night. Thanks for the get well wishes.

Recap: Rough weekend and start to the week. All (well mostly) my fault. Splurged on Pizza on and wine on Sunday, coupled with rest day. Showed up on the scale yesterday! Note to self: Don't do that again! And then the gym was closed for maintenance(restricted hours) so didn't get a full work out in on Friday or Monday. Unfortunately, it all makes sense!!
- THOUGHTS: Do the work (exercise + quality food/within calorie range) get the results!

@slimmersixties ~ how do your clothes feel? I've been fluctuating a lot as well and I know its the food (retention vs actual gain). I'm only seeing it on the scale and not in how my clothes fit...so that helps me. No you didn't gain 7.4lbs!! It seems when you eat "differently" the body wants to hold on just to see....

I had to have x-rays on my hips and they did an ultra sound for my thyroid .... Dr will have the results in a day or two1 -

Thank you ... I knew about the x-rays for my hips (stupid hip dysplasia) the ultra sound threw me off though it was for my thyroid ..crossing fingers that I do not have to go on thyroid medicine0 -

I had a thyroid ultrasound this morning ...My Dr called me this afternoon and told me that my nodules on my thyroid could be benign ..He is sending me to a thyroid specialist ...If the nodules grow to big, it could result in surgery or thyroid therapy ... That would explain why I am having such a hard time losing weight ...I also had my hips x-rayed ...I have hip dysplasia and they are getting worse ...4

I have been on thyroid medication foe almost 40 years. Truthfully, I don’t even think about it. I have a test once a year or more often if the doctor thinks it might be low again. Usually, if I get depressed they check it as it could be a low thyroid. Good luck getting it figured out.1 -

A week at my mums with 2 meals out, a few glasses of wine and obviously a few to many carb laden treats! Total gain in 9 days was 12lb!! Relatively happy to report I've lost 6.7lb in 4 days! Day 2 of a stinking headache as I drop all those stored carbs and water!!1 -
