@LaurieWrobo Thank you! I actually put him in the box. I thought since this one was so big, maybe he would like it, but nope! He just walked around bewildered and acted as if I put him in some sort of prison he couldn't escape lol, so I eventually had to 'rescue' him and pick him up.

@iradi8 Thank you so much! I was pleasantly suprised that the bookcase went together so smoothly. 4 boxes was a little intimidating, but it wasn't bad at all.3 -
@Pupowl OMG!!! Titus has the most human like expressions! I love kitties, I currently have 3 of my own. I rescued them from out front of my work about 2.5 years ago. Feral, but they have mostly adjusted. I'll post some pictures soon.3

@Pupowl my neice has the same chair it's very comfy. Was it a Billy bookcase ? My sister & I have undone & reassembled her 2 shelf units about 4 times when she wanted them in a different room. Its satisfying to get things done on your own isn't it ? .Eventhough you may need to ask for help sometimes.
I had a fab weekend at a 1940s event in a seaside town about 1 & a half hours drive from me.I stayed over on Friday night at my friend's house & her friend came on Sat morning & drove to the hotel. The weather was lovely on the Saturday & a bit windy on the Sunday.Thankfully no rain.
There were stalls of clothes & army regalia.Vintage cars & aircraft.A big tent with singers & entertainment.
Loads of people dressed up & the costumes were amazing. There was a Dance on the Sat night with singers & a great band.We danced alot, maybe a bit too much as my knees & hips are quite sore.
This is me next to a Vintage Morris Minor.

I had a pretty good day today. I got in a 6 mile ride this morning before driving my brother to San Francisco for a medical appointment at UCSF Medical Offices. I skipped breakfast, but we stopped on the way for lunch around 11am. While he was at his appointment, I took what turned out to be a pretty short hike, only 2.12 miles, but that took me 74 minutes! It was a rocky, rough trail with plenty of elevation changes, steps, tree branches, foliage, etc. I had planned on at least a 3 mile hike and 10,000 steps, but I was only at ~7,600 steps when I finished. I would have continued my hike but he called to say he was done with his appointment. Returning from San Francisco in the afternoon can take a long time (very heavy commuter traffic), so we stopped on the way to possibly take in a movie during the heavy traffic hours. But we found nothing of interest, so we had some sushi and continued home. I got home at 7pm, hopped on my bike for a ~4 mile ride, and did some cardio to get to 10,000 steps. So, 2 days down and 12 to go for my Ride to 200 (km) challenge.

@jessicakrall8 sorry I wasn't on time to join the team step challenge this week.I left my phone in my hotel room whilst I was away & doing all that dancing,so couldn't record all my steps.Very annoying !
Made up for it yesterday π
