@pupowl Thank you for posting the tracker. I downloaded it as a PDF and printed myself a copy.

@CasandraW That sucks about the medication. Not being able to sleep well has such a big impact on daily life. Hoping with you it will be resolved soon! Cool that you like the tracker. Let me know if you want me to change anything for your printed version! If I am reading it right, you aren't able to edit it yourself.

@angmarie28 - I hope you can carve out a bit of time for yourself each day. Do you have any morning or evening rituals you can try?

Personally, I’m not very good at this but I’m trying to spend about 20 minutes in the morning centering myself with a cup of coffee and some little rituals β€” read a newspaper columnist I like, play one quick word game, look at the day ahead on my phone calendar, and check MFP. At night, I wash my face and put on some lotion with intention before brushing my teeth. It seems simple but I still need to improve the nighttime habit β€” though I never miss brushing my teeth!

I wonder why some habits are so ingrained and others take more work. Does anyone else have a daily ritual that is going well? β€” or one you want to improve?

My brother-in-law plays the piano shortly after he arrives home after work as way to transitIon to family time. Then, he and my sister cook together. They have so many positive habits! There are many things I’d like to work into my day so I’m not giving up!

    Best wishes, ShapeShifters!

@PatriceFitnessPal I love what your brother-in-law and sister do. I never really had routines like that. Perhaps I'll think about creating one for the morning. As for the almost 50 pounds gone... it's so weird. I don't feel like I've lost that much. I guess because it is slow going. Tonight I put on some jeans that I haven't worn in a while because I've been wearing shorts. It's very hot where I live. My goodness! They were falling off of me. I was shocked because I didn't realize there was that much of a difference in my body:)

@Pupowl I am doing my first 100 day challenge right now. I find that it is really helping me with the daily posting of my weight. I can see the pattern of ups and downs. It gives me insight as to what is working and what isn't.

@iradi8 What a great achievement! And a nice NSV!

@LenGray welcome! I'm fairly new but I like this team a lot so far and already seeing good progress!

I'm developing the new habit of wearing my watch soon as I get up and about to track steps and it also shows me my estimated daily calorie burn. Watching the numbers is a huge eye-opener. Now I am getting clarity on the little habits that need fixing here and there. Like the mid-afternoon two heaps of peanut butter or just shaking the bottle of balsamic vinaigrette loaded with OIL and SALT all over my salads (no measuring whatsoever and I can go through a bottle of salad dressing in a few days because I am eating lots of healthy salads). I see I also eat in a distracted state, like while working. It's these little innocent things that land me in the OOPs I just went over in daily calories by 570, how did that happen? Throw in a small innocent handful of chocolate chip calories onto that.
