I have a few channels on YouTube saved for workouts:
- Leslie Sansone (indoor walking workouts)
- Reps to the Rhythm (fun, simple dance style walking workouts)
- Gin Miller Productions (step aerobics)
- Caroline Girvan (weight training workouts)
I also have subscriptions to Peloton and Les Mills on Demand. I use both of those mostly for cycling workouts.

I take classes at the YMCA & they are awesome! I take a variety of classes - Zumba, Cardio-Sculpt, Body Pump, Body Works , Core Strength, Strong Nation and Soul Fusion. I have never exercised consistently in my life (Iβm 65) but love these and go pretty much 6 days a week. Some of these are sponsored by Les Mills, I think theyβre available online. I can also record some of them on MFP π

I follow Adriene Mishler's 30 day yoga programs, I've done them all once and now on my 2nd round now. Finished Flow yesterday and stated Move this morning. I started doing yoga last February to improve my posture for my sisters wedding and found I love it in the mornings. I always stayed away from yoga because it seemed for zenny cool types but she talks and expains like a "normal" person

@HorsesRock9999 Yes, I appreciate all the different videos that are available for free. You can pick the ones that work best for you. I have an exercise bike too, but I use the videos to make sure I work on my upper body and move in different directions. Thank you for your suggestions. I will try them out.

@gillis1118 I got to the YMCA too and love body pump. I also did Orange Theory for about a year which really helped me with my cardio/jogging, but it was too expensive to keep up. I've done Sydney Cummings on youtube and will look to find random videos for if it's raining and I don't feel like going to the gym.
@HorsesRock9999 great first weigh in!
It's been raining for 3 days straight nowβ¦so over it! I am also ready for the weekend. Work was rough this morning.

Just finished my workout and wanted to stop in and say hi. My weigh-in is Saturday morning, and I am really hoping for a good drop this week. I have been working hard, logging all my food, drinking more water. I still need to work on getting to bed earlier though!

weigh in: August 3rd
Previous weight 231.8
Current weight 231.8
Iβm late to the challenge so Iβll just ask forgiveness and hope I can still participate. This is budget season and deadlines at work distracted me from my goal to post daily.
Iβm Frances, 56, 6β3. I live in Pearland, Tx and work in healthcare administration. I have a very busy and demanding job which really impacts my stress and ultimately my eating habits. I lost 60 lbs with weight watchers 4 years ago but gained 1/2 back. I started strength training a year ago and feel better than I have in years. Iβve dropped 2 sizes but the scale hasnβt changed. Iβm focused on nutrition which is my downfall. My trainer and I set the goal to increase protein and fiber, add cardio 2 x week and stay in my calorie deficit.
So, Iβm here for support and to be a support. I love to hike, bike ride, bowl and am a movie and basketball fanatic.4 -
FRIDAY WI 8/8
PW. 148
CW.145.22 -

Weigh-in Day: Friday (August 8, 2025)
PW: 243.7
CW: 244.1We should get plenty of exercise this weekend as we're moving our older son to his new apartment in Indianapolis, Indiana (we live in St. Louis, Missouri so just ~ 4 hr drive) so lots of lifting, going up and down stairs as he'll be on the 2nd floor so its not worth waiting around for an elevator for 1 flight.
On the other hand, our 2nd daughter (we have 4 kids) also lives in Indianapolis and since schools just started (she's a 3rd grade math & science teacher), this Saturday is her last night for her summer job ... driving a pedal bar so we promised to try it with her and a dozen others. Basically you drink beer, mixed drinks, etc. while pedaling to several other bars to ... wait for it ... drink more beer and mixed drinks. In my youth this would have been great but now that I'm 56, I'm sure we'll have to take it a little slower than the 21+ 'kids' that will probably be cutting loose. She's warned us that it gets a little raucous but we're up for some fun (especially after a big day of moving heavy stuff and cleaning everything). I predict I'll be drinking a lot of 'light' beer on Saturday night so hopefully I'll be going into this with a calorie deficit from earlier in the day. π

@66keto Great loss! π
@flove68 Hi! I just moved to Texas last month and loving π₯° it! Great job on your loss. I am retired now, but understand the busyness of work and finding time to exercise and eat properly. All the best to our journeys!
@tallymh WTG! Nice job on your workout and your goals you have accomplished this week! I stayed up to late last night as we went out with friends! Tonight will be an earlier night for me to go to bed! π€ Great, I will have to look at a few of your recommendations of workouts!

I will be heading to the gym this evening to run on the treadmill after work, then I will weigh in tomorrow morning. Good luck to anyone else who has a Saturday weigh-in! And happy weekend (soon) to everyone.

It sounds like everyone is being physically active and seeing some great weigh-ins!
@flove68 welcome! We are happy to have you here!
I have been working on not having my phone in bed at night, so I can go to sleep instead of scroll for hours. I was successful 5/7 days, I call that a win!

I think itβs a lot of water weight. I was bloated. I restarted my probiotic and got back on track with healthier food choices. Feeling good and headed to my personal training session ready to heavy lift. πͺπΎ. Letβs do this ladies! Have a fabulous healthy and active day.

I was on antibiotics for two weeks and had gained over 11 pounds while I was taking them, so this is part of the whoosh of getting rid of that weight. Good riddance!

Unfortunately day 2 of being home and my son wrecked a 4 wheeler and broke both bones in his wrist. First broken bone π€ I'm hoping to get back on track and get this Vacation weight gone!
