I'm disappointed, but I had a big loss last week, so maybe my body is just trying to stabilize. I worked really hard this week, though, and really expected more of a result on the scale.

@tallymh @gillis1118 try to remember that the scale is just a tool. If you are following your plan, you may still be losing fat, but retaining water or building muscle! If I start a new exercise routine or lose a lot of weight one week, the scale will tend to fluctuate up the next week. It's very frustrating, but give it time and trust the process!

I woke up in the middle of the night sick Thursday night and didn't get much sleep. Took a ton of meds Friday morning to make it through the day, and then slept for like 12 hour last night! I feel so much better now. I went for a walk at the park and will go out in a bit for some yard work. It's weird but my acid reflux will flare-up like crazy some nights (every few years) and then I can barely eat the next day.

I think I had a good week in terms of eating and exercise, but I either underestimated the calories or overestimated the exercise, or maybe I just gained more muscle. Maybe there is something in the air or water, since so many of us are in the same boat this week.
I hope you feel better, Lauren!

I’ll share! Let’s post and share with each other!
List one thing that you appreciate about who YOU are, YOU deserve self-LOVE!
- I appreciate my sense of humor, yet can be self deprecating. I am thankful I can be compassionate and caring for others. AND YES, that means I need to do that for myself! ;)
What is the reason for your weight loss goals?
- I am now 45 and I am very different than my 20’s when it was just about looks. I am about being living a healthy lifestyle. I grew up overweight as the funny child and I had struggles with food.
Look forward to hear about you!

@Mari33a wow! What did you do on Saturday for so many steps??
One thing I appreciate about myself is not giving up. If I want something I will go after it!
My why: Getting and staying healthy for when I'm older. It's amazing the difference between my parents and my in-laws (activity levels, able to move) and my parents are 5 years older than them! Right now, my 69 year old dad can walk a mile faster than me! He did 6.9 miles for his birthday and averaged 14 minute mile!

I'll share :-)
List one thing that you appreciate about who YOU are, YOU deserve self-LOVE!
- I appreciate my positive attitude and drive. I always try to see the positives in situations and work hard to make things better/improve myself.
What is the reason for your weight loss goals?
- I am now 55. I was down to a healthy weight about 10 years ago, but then over time I regained the weight. I am competing a lot more with my horse, and know that being more physically fit will help with that. I am also looking ahead at retirement and really want to be able to enjoy all my retirement years in a healthy way — my husband and I have all sorts of things we want to do!
