Slackers? I can skip some cardio? Eat a huge piece of cake? Tempting, Lol. Thank you to all the other team members for your congratulations. I loved this episode. We most likely will not even see Michonne next episode. I loved how Carl realized he still needs his father. And Rick is treating him with more trust and confidence. Carl Rocked!

It was such a great episode last night! Shelley summed it up perfectly! Our kills count for next week totals but that does not mean we can be slackers this week, or we could be eaten!! Our cardio goes up 10 minutes to 250 required minutes for this week, and that includes 90 minutes of arm exercises! Yes, after all that chopping of heads we need to keep those arms in tip top shape. Keep yourself inside of your calorie goals and we should be on top next week.

Agreed, Cindy! There's no real reason for Team Michonne to do too much this week. They have such a lead with 26 kills and all... You've all done your work for the week. Why not take it easy on yourselves and on poor ol' Team Walking Horde... heaven knows we took enough from Michonne in the last episode!

I'm still around, I was away for the weekend so no checking of the message boards (or exercising or eating healthily for that matter. oops!). I haven't even watched the episode yet because we got back late last night but im loading it now. So excited!!

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that I've started Insanity and done my fit test. I've attempted Insanity before and reached the second week when I had to stop because of my shins. However, I thought that it was due to my weight but now I weigh less and am stronger and fitter, I'm attempting it again.
My bad news? I've gained 5lbs! I've no idea how but yeah, I've gained. I'm a sad panda! My friend, who's a personal trainer, has assured me that most of it is gained muscle and good fats and I've got slimmer (he doesn't lie to me, he'd tell me if I look like I've gained). Still, sad I gained! Sorry guys!0 -

Ellie we so rocked with Michonne. So rest up some this week. Because I am thinking she may not even put in an appearance next episode. :laugh: I wonder how many extra minutes it takes to make one kill? We are going to really have to build up our arms!
Dazz, she was awesome. I bet you are super excited we picked Michonne to lead us to victory. And that was so hilarious that Rick told Carl the knock on the door was for him! :smokin: Just like before the plague, can Carl come out to play? :laugh:
Dazz seems we posted at the same time. Lol. I agree, it is muscle gain. I do that also. Trimmer and stronger! You so rocked it. Nothing to worry about. I have done P90X and most of Insanity. Shin splints are not due to being over weight. I had a coach once tell me to toe tap when just sitting. Strengthens the shins. Look up shin splints. Good luck this time through.

What an awesome episode!! I felt like I should feel sympathy for Michonne because she was going through a difficult time but I just kept thinking "kill more zombies!!!" :laugh:
I agree with Shelley though, I think next week will focus on other characters so Michonne mightn't get a look it. We better make sure we get plenty of strength and cardio minutes in just in case!
Dazz, that sucks about going up in weight but some of it might be water weight. are you taking measurements? My weight hasn't be moving downwards at all lately. it fluctuates up a little and then back down to where I have been for two months. I am only 4 pound off goal and am focused more on losing body fat but it would still be nice to see a drop in the scale. I know its because of my eating though. I am finding it so hard to control myself. Must do better!!0 -
I must do better eating also. We had chili and cornbread tonight. Both delish, and both high in calories! I will work harder tomorrow. I still say that Dazz is up due to muscle gain. Especially if his clothes are fitting looser. I have been there.
So Louise we know what we need to do. Yesterday I only walked my boys. 40 minutes in 15 degree weather. Got in 30 minutes walking the back courtroom hallways, and another 40 with my boys this evening. It was a warm 33 degrees out and still light. How could I tell those brown eyed loves of my life no?
I still get goose bumps thinking of Michonne swinging that sword. She rocked. Do not feel bad for her Louise, she pulled herself up out of her funk, kicked serious zombie butt, sorry gentle zombie and Terry, and she was almost laughing when she found the guys! Way to go team Michonne. Now to go to bed so I can lift some serious weight tomorrow.

Mika and Lizzie decided that our punishment exercises is 50 Burpees. You don't have to do them all at once, split them up over the week and include them in your totals when you send them to Angimom or you can't be credited for strength training this week.0

I did my second day of Insanity today and it SLAYED me! A couple of the things I couldn't do so in order to not slack, I substituted for an exercise that's closely like it (like for push-up jacks, I just do push-ups instead). I then went on to the gym and did 30 minutes on the elliptical trainer, 30 minutes on the rowing machine, 10 minutes of kettlebell work and then did the punishment.
Totally done my punishment, y'all! Brought out my competitive side to see whether I could beat the amount I done in a minute and I missed out by two! (I did a competition in the gym which was to do as many burpees as you can in one minute. I did 51 in the gym but only managed 49 this time).
Also, just saying you guys, I have the PERFECT punishment! Should I post it here or message Angi or what? Literally, it's perfect and something I attempted today. It's fun but my GOD you will feel it! I can't tell you my plans on Friday either because that's kind of the punishment but yeah, if you guys want to know, just say but it is something Michonne would be proud of!

Kettlebell- Figure 8- 5 minutes
STRENGTH TRAINING
Push Ups- 10 reps
Kettlebell Swings- 50 reps with a 16kg
Kettlebell- Clean and Press- 50 reps with a 16kg
Pull Ups- 10 reps
Burpees- 50 reps
TEAM MICHONNE NOTES!
130/250 minutes of cardio (0/50 minutes involving combat) and 20/90 minutes of strength training.
105 minutes added on cardio and 20 minutes added to strength training.
Punishment (50 burpees) completed!

Ellie Sundays kills are for this week. They won due to the kills, and their challenges, from the last episode from last season. We pretty much have this week in the bag.
I will be doing my special level of burpees for this week with my team! I will not sit by while you do these burpees. My burpees will take a bit longer than the awesome display that Dazz did! You rock Dazz. I am doing mine with a pushup, leg Jack, and slap to the thighs when I hop into the air! Yelling Michonne Rules after each one! (My hubby may check on me)
We got this team. And retribution will be ours! Take no prisoners.
Got in 30 minutes of arms and 30 of cardio. I worked late due to a trial or I would have done more. Burpees will have to wait until tomorrow.

Muahhaha, when I first saw Dazz I knew I had to have him on team Michonne. So I private messaged him and the rest is history. Hugs Dazz. We are only as strong as our weakest link. And we have no weak link!

Hi Team! Shelley, you crack me up! You don't even have to do the burpees and you are doing the extremely hard ones! You are AWESOME! Just remember that we are one of the advanced teams so our punishment exercises must be something that can be done by every team!
