Rookies? Lol, we have no rookies here. Paula for shame. You know I will be telling you to get a move on it all the time. A little birdie told me you love it when I tell you what to do.

I just remembered that Body Revolution has planks in the routine. So I'll get extra in...I guess that's a good thing:laugh:

I decided to start with 60 seconds because I knew I also had planks in another challenge. But I'm only counting the time specific to this challenge. I hope that makes sense:laugh:

    Day 1 - 60 seconds - done

    Bowler952,

You did better than what I did my first time ever attempting a plank. I started in January and could only gut out 10 seconds. Doing them several times a week, I'm up to a 45 second plank, or 4/20 second planks.

    Paula,

I'm waiting to see your post.

    Okay, Chuck. You got it.

I got confused when I saw Chris had posted 45 seconds and was wondering why everyone else was only doing 20.

    20 second plank x 3.

Okay so first day in at 1:30. I probably could've gone longer but I was still under control here, and the quivering just started real good...

Well, 20 seconds was not long enough for me and DAY 7 is 45 seconds and after a REST DAY and my lucky number, SO...I thought I would just 45 second it until then.

Chuck be careful being friends with this one. Paula will be accusing you of suggesting she do this challenge before long. I know, experience speaking here. The things she tries to accuse me of. Something about steps. And walking around in the house after lights out! :blushing:

Some of us have a method for doing planks. I like to set my timer and listen to music or my Kindle. I try and NOT think about what I am doing. I even close my eyes and pretend to be walking somewhere else.

Kathy you are killing me. But I am in for 70. Be back when it is done.

    Shelly,

I place my watch on the floor directly under my nose. That way, if I collapse, I smash my face in. It gives me incentive to finish it.
