Happy March. Holy cow the year Is already flying by:noway: . This month I think St. Patrick's day is the hardest thing for me. lovely brews, corned beef and cabbage and Irish coffee!

Well I ended February strong by having zeros Tuesday through today.:drinker: I haven't taken any meds yet today for my back. I am feeling better and may be able to have some wine or something. I will see what the day brings.

Happy Lushing to All.

PS. Syd, your hubby got outstanding weather while he was up here. Now it is supposed to rain/snow today. Please send him back to us if he continues to bring such great weather with him. :wink:

    March already?! One month until baby! I don't know where this pregnancy went :noway:

    Had to get firm with someone at the baby party today, got so pissed I was shaking :explode: but I think everyone realized it is not the time to *kitten* with me. Just sister in law and her boyfriend are still over. I'm exhausted and despite the little altercation it was a fun party.

    We're supposed to get slammed with another winter storm Monday,,, so done with winter :grumble:

    Well happy March all! :drinker:

    Wow, what happened to February? 'blink' and it was gone.

    March, where the sun will make its way north of the equator! Looking forward to longer days, being outside without a jacket, and even some yard work!

    Robins are back (the bird not the "mama" we all love, she never left), trees and shrubs starting to bud. I feel for you all in the Midwest where the winter has been so brutal. Hang in there, the winter will soon retreat.

    And I am with Diana- being a bit lushy this first day of March. :drinker:

    YAY the snow trended south and we got a dusting!!! I love working from home but I am excited to have a full week of work :huh: and get some normalcy back to my life!!! I haven't worked a full week in quite a while.
    Yesterday was 1 1/2 beers, 5 margaritas and 2 glasses of wine. It was a fun day!
    Think I will take it easy the next couple of days!!! Its been a while since I had a zero!

    Had 2 pints of beer and a glass of wine Friday.

    Saturday had a sorry excuse for red sangria and then a merlot. The sangria was good, but mostly juice. Then had a beer at home, 2 beers and glass of wine at first Mardis Gras party. Then a double gin and diet ginger beer and then probably one full hurricane at party #2. So about 9 over the course of the day. 0 yesterday. I was over my goal last week, but only by a few. I was super lazy yesterday; didn't leave the house all day, but did manage to lift weights for a bit. And ate carbs all day.

    We got about 3" of snow and some ice underneath in KY. They were forecasting an inch of ice and 4-6" of snow. Schools are closed again, but my day care was open so I'm at work. Boo.

    Hope spring comes soon for all of you who have had such a rough winter.
    we got A LOT of rain..which we desperately needed. The sun is out today...good thing cuz any more and the flooding would have been much worse.
    The husband is back..drank several cocktails late after he got home Friday night. Moderated well Sat and yesterday and am looking forward to getting into a normal routine this week.
    Have a good week everyone! :drinker:

    I actually had a pretty reasonable weekend.
    Friday=1 drink
    Saturday=4 drinks
    Sunday=1 drink

    No 0s but within cals for the most part and so I count it a win.

    Will try for 0s for a couple of days here...

    I am still being pretty consistent with my wine consumption....

    1-2 glasses a night

    Saturday I had 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine.

    I thought about giving it up for awhile because my weightloss has stalled and I've got a few pounds to get back to pre-pregnancy weight, but I am not ready yet :laugh:

    What a week the last one has been.

    Tues- noticed a blind spot in my L eye. :ohwell:
    Fri- eye specialist takes a look. All is ok, evidently my eye fluid is a bit coagulated. :noway:
    Fri evening, youngest son comes to visit and tells us he is getting married in July to a girl he met two months ago. :noway:
    Sunday, oldest son and his wife announce they will attempt to procreate. :drinker:

    Hoping for a boring week.

    Wine and vodka instead of pain meds. Back is still sore. Heading to Orlando tomorrow for Women in Aviation conference. I fly home on Sunday. I hope it is fun. Talk to you all later.

    Not sure about tonight. I've got part of a diet ginger beer in the fridge that would be nice with some gin or vodka. I hate wasting those things are they're like a dollar a piece.

    Hello Lushes! I cannot believe that it is already March! I was just getting used to writing February!

    So far, I haven't been very lushy this March. I had 1/2 a beer on Saturday & that was it! Hubby & I will probably go to dinner on Friday night and have some drinks with dinner...then some wine at home for me :) Friday, Saturday & Sunday my WSU Shockers are playing and I hope that they kill it! They are 31-0 for the regular season!!! So proud to be a Shocker!! :drinker:

    Monday=0 drinks

    Tuesday= shooting for 0, sounds like I am drinking with friends tomorrow, instead of Thursday, but trying to keep things low...
    Being hungover at work is a drag...

    Another zero last night and going for another tonight!

    Amy, I'm in total agreement. I have had some wicked hangovers when I've come to work...and those days were the longest days EVER! I don't do that anymore.

    Monday - 0
    Tuesday - 0
    Wednesday - 0
    Thursday - going to dinner with my girlfriend, probably have 1 beer or 2, then we're going to a cookie bake-off!! Looking forward to a fun night!!

    T - 0!

    Might have those cocktails tonight I talked of yesterday.

    I have been so hungover at work I've tried to nap in the sick room, gotten sick in the bathroom (and bucked up and stayed at work.....yeah, went through a phase in my life where if I was in bed sober before 2am, it was a success......), still felt drunk, etc etc etc. I now loathe being hungover at work and think I am mostly past getting so drunk the night before that the above things happen to me. It's just not worth it. Being hungover at home is one thing, but at work makes it 10x worse.

    My 0's must be working! I dropped a pound this week! And 3.4" from early January!

    Wow, this is my first post for March....

    Gary wins the award for drama in a week and it's enough to drink for sure.

    Kat, sorry that you had some drama at the baby shower. Why can't people just behave?

    I love all the cute new avatars...Bridget, Chole and Ashley

    Sydney - great job on the 2 per night. I think it's reasonable.

    I agree working with a hangover is awful. I am too old to function with them and be responsible so I try to stay away from them.

    I was super lushy this weekend for 3 days. Sunday was a marathon with my girlfriend. So, now, I have to behave for a while. 9 days off in a row leaves too much room for misbehavior. :devil: <<<<was sitting on my shoulder the whole time.

    Just finishing up Week #7 of my 1/2 marathon training. It was tough today because I just felt so thirsty despite having water with me. Tomorrow, I go for 3 miles straight.

    Tonight is my son's 23rd birthday celebration - luckily, he's not procreating or getting engaged. :noway:

    Happy Birthday to your son Kim....23 what a great year that was for me....not to say the years in between haven't been great, but that's the year I graduated college, started working full time and making good money, Len moved home from RI so I got to spend more time with him , he was also spending summers down the shore working on a fishing boat so I got to spend every weekend down there and that's when we truely fell in love....AHHH memories!!!!

    Monday-Wednesday:0
    I have some wine on the counter...maybe a small glass, which I may finish up tonight. We'll see.

    So, I hadn't been to the gym in about 2 1/2wks due to snow and weather and laziness. Well we went tuesday, balls out, and *kitten* I am still soooo super sore. So, lesson learned, being lazy for so long sets you back. We should be ok to get back tomorrow. We walked last night and will most likely walk tonight or do yoga (depends on how much I loosen up throughout the day).
    Saturday we are brewing out Sunday Funday (imperial stout with chocolate, vanilla beans and espresso) so I think we will head out for a nice long walk early in the morning so we can start brewing early (it takes about 5hrs with clean up). THe gym doesn't open until 8am, which set us back several hours!!!

    Anywho's Happy Thursday!
