Back home after three days at a conference. 2600 yds in an hour. Light rain and kinda glad I didn't bother with the hotel pool that I used a year ago. No markings and I'm swimming a bit faster so I don't think it would have worked out well...0

I've had about a month off due to my usual pool closing down for the winter and life being busy. Swam twice this week.
2km in 50mins for the first session back, but it was extra tough due to being out of the water for so long, the pool configured at 50m, and no lane ropes at all across the ten lanes! I managed to swim straight but not many other people could say the same so it was pretty chaotic.
2.5km this morning in 55mins. I didn't have a swim buddy today so didn't feel pressured to finish up a little earlier as they always swim less than me.
500 mixed
100 kick
4x100 IM w 20s
250 kick with fins
5x50m free @80% on 60s
500 mixed
500 free with fins
The final 500 free I considered a stress test for my bung shoulder. I decided I would either go to failure or to 500m. Only just made it but it was better than I've managed before. Having the fins on really takes some of the pressure off it but I don't want to do the entire set like that. Appointment with the specialist only a month away now so I'm hoping to get some answers as ideally I'd like to be able to swim with no pain and without having to constantly mix up my strokes!0 -
No swims all weekend due to this arm thing. I tweaked something when I was sitting at a table at work and turned to get something off the counter behind me. It hurts when I do certain things, but it's really hard to replicate. My health insurance is Kaiser (HMO), so getting it sorted with a doctor or PT will take months, probably longer than whatever it is will linger. For now, ibuprofen and heat, and no swim arms.0

Someday I hope to have a good day like your bad day.0 -
2600 yds 60 minutes. One more month and then the pool moves to summer hours, which is a PITA for evening swim starting at the awkward time of 6 pm.0

6000 yards so far today. Another 5000 after work later.1

You totally will.
Then you'll be eyeing @fishgutzy with absolute envy. I don't think it ever ends.2 -
Swam yesterday and today-- 1.5 miles each day. And Monday, I had a co-worker ask if she could follow me to the pool (which she did), and she's planning to walk over with me again tomorrow! I may have a swim buddy-- or at least a walk-to-the-pool buddy!1

3000m of mixed sets in about 60 min. The pool was less busy in the last 30 min so managed to get in 1000m of breast and back - which was a real treat.0

2.4km in 45 min
600 warm up
2x(4x100 backstroke)
3x 200 Freestyle
4x100 backstroke
Had to stop because my calf totally cramped up. Tried to wait it out but figured I managed to get in a decent workout so called it a day.
