I really liked this. It's the best so far of the Core series I've tried. Most of them I like just one or two elements but disliked others. I liked all the elements here. There are two flavors of ice cream-- vanilla and caramel. Then there are crunchy biscoff cookie pieces and of course the cookie butter core. I liked the vanilla base. The caramel base could have used more caramel flavor if that's the flavor they wanted to go for-- as it was it didn't seem much different from the vanilla for me. I loved the crunchy cookie pieces and the cookie butter core was very good. As for how it stacked up to the Trader Joe's version-- TJ puts more cookie butter in theirs but it doesn't have cookie pieces. I think I remember it being less calories, which isn't surprising. B&J version will run you 290 per 100 grams.
That looks good. Meijer doesn't have the new ones yet, so I have to wait some more. However, I did find Edy's Red Velvet Cake, so I'm going to try that either tonight or tomorrow.0 -

I had some more Jeni's Brambleberry Crisp today. The oat clusters continue to impress, and with more of the berry swirl, I am definitely enjoying it.0

I had a super busy week with a sales meeting and a sick husband and the usual mommy duties. Popped in here to see what's been going on: 26 posts and some new reviews, well done everyone! I am too tired for ice cream or wine, so you know that's bad... Heading to bed but glad I checked in on all of you!0

I can't believe you found it. Awesome. Unfortunately in still searching.
I also found the Cookie Butter at Target today & had to buy their store brand of S'Mores.
If they would've had the Peanut Buttah Core I would've bought that one, but I didn't notice it unless I overlooked while I was scanning.
I didn't see that one either. They had the chocolate mocha one though so I got that also. I'm interested to hear how the s'mores is.
Eh the S'Mores one wasn't that great to be honest. In my opinion it mostly just tasted like chocolate with a few chocolate pieces to crunch on. Maybe I'll feel differently once I eat more of it.0 -
This one is even better than the original cookie butter flavor. The elements are caramel and mocha ice cream bases, chocolate chunks, and a chocolate cookie core. Both bases are very good, nice and creamy. The caramel doesn't really read caramel to me. I thought it was vanilla until I read the package. But it was still very good and I even like the mocha flavor and I'm not a big coffee ice cream person. Could have used more chocolate chunks, but then that's usually the case. I got quite a bit of cookie core, which is like the cookie part of oreos but with a creamier texture. I have noticed with all the core ice creams that the core is mostly at the top and this one was no different. It'd be nice if they could figure out how to better distribute it. But that's just nitpicking. It was very very good. Calorie count is the same as the other one-- 290 per 100g.
These are a huge step up from the previous Core series. I was afraid they would be disappointing but there was no disappointment to be had here.0 -

^^ Jealous. I really want to try the cookie cores.
I'm all out of ice cream until I do my weekly shopping tomorrow.
Instead, I'm having 3 Musketeer's Strawberry with Dark Chocolate minis.0 -
Finally made it to Fresh Market, but no dark chocolate gelato fiasco. Boo. Contemplated the smores flavor, but the calories aren't as kind. And Jeni's was on sale, so I went with that. I'm super excited to try them all.

It's what I started with, and it's so good! The goat cheese flavor is prominent but balanced, and the cherries are sweet and taste very fresh. Very creamy, and definitely worth the money.0 -
Just had some Cadia panna cotta gelato, from our local health food store. I really liked the creamy ness. The cream flavor was awesome. The caramel in it was not my favorite. Will finish the other 270 grams tomorrow to try it again.0

Wish I could find these flavors you all have:(0

Ooo might have to get that Goat Cheese flavor shipped to my house.

I got some of the Goat Cheese with Red Cherries yesterday! I'd never purchased Jeni's before (because $10 a pint), but my husband bought a *kitten*-ton of bacon and felt guilty, so I got "permission" to give it a shot.
The goat cheese is prominent, but goes well with the cherries.
I was in a baking mood yesterday, but restrained myself to making one thing. Lemon & coconut bars.

Tonight's fare (not my pic):
Pretty decent. The cake pieces were more crunchy like a cookie than cake-like, but it still tasted good.0 -
I saw B&J pumpkin cheesecake today... Isn't it a bit late for that?0

Almost shouldn't post this because the colors are *completely* off in these photos, but I already ate the ice cream and I am too lazy to go back and redo or wait for another day.
Enjoyed some Graeter's Black Raspberry Chocolate Chip this evening - my first Graeter's ice cream. It was not what I was expecting when I opened the pint - purple-ish burgundy base with various chocoloate chips ranging in size from tiny to humongous (which was a good thing - I liked that variety). For some reason, I was expecting more of a vanilla base with black / raspberry swirl or flavor.
I enjoyed it but wasn't blown away, and want to give it another taste before really forming an opinion. Not only did I get a call from my MIL who needed something from me just as I started enjoying it, but as I said, I was surprised at the presentation and then flummoxed by the colors when I saw the photos after eating it all (it really is a burgundy base and the chocolate chips are not green-tinted in any way -- crazy fluorescent desk light on light wood desk, I suppose).

I would have jumped on the Goat Cheese had I seen it at Fresh Market. Will have to go back. Also I will be curious about your opinion on the brambleberry crisp!

Graeter's Strawberry Chocolate Chip is one of my favorites, probably because of the gigantic chunks of chocolate they use. I haven't had any in a while, either (mostly because of the calorie amount).
I finally ate the Slow Churned Red Velvet Cake last night. The base is very creamy and smooth, but I wasn't a fan of the cake pieces. The texture threw it off.0 -
I'm not a huge fan of the Graeter's base. It always seems . .. icy? or something to me. But I love their mix-ins so it's usually a toss-up.0

Didn't notice that last night -- but I am noticing something you said about Steve's a while back -- it seems to be consistently rock-hard right out of the freezer.
