Are we talking the caramel Apple pie? I've not seen just Apple pie. The caramel Apple is one of my favorites.

I had the caramel apple pie for lunch yesterday. It was interesting. Not like anything I've had before. As ILHA says, the apples are...spongy? chewy? IDK. The caramel swirl and the chunks of pie crust were nice, though, as was the cinnamon flavor.

I found the peppermint bark to be a good typical mint chocolate chip, but nothing particularly special.

I'm all out of ice cream, so no updates from me. :(

The closest thing I have is some Yoplait Greek Whips in Vanilla Cupcake flavor. Doesn't really taste very cupcake to me though. Gonna have to doctor it up.

The caramel apple pie is very bland to me. However, I'm tempted to try a bit with the apple crisp I have in the freezer now.

Do you have a Giant near you? They have Talenti on sale for $3.79 & if you buy two of them you get a free Ristorante Pizza.

No, just have Shoprite and Pathmark near me. Giant is too far. I'm not going out though because it's going to snow shortly and I'm not dealing with the crazies... plus having a newborn... I'll suffer through it. lol

Had a serving of the Steve's Cold Brewed Coffee and Cinnamon with a Trader Joes Jo Jo White Frosted Ginger Sandwich cookie. Great combo... Too bad that was my last ginger sandwich cookie. I think I still have Chocolate Peppermint cookies... What can I pair them with!?

Also, I never noticed this Steve's ice cream is vegan. are they all? This is the first one I've tried.

I didn't like the apple pie-- I found the apple pieces to have an odd texture.

disappointing…I was hoping it might be similar to the raspberry cheesecake...

Maybe still give it a shot if you think it sounds good-- I know a lot of people love it. They just seemed kinda spongy to me, like they used dehydrated apples maybe?

The banana pudding isn't-- whole milk and cream on the ingredients label.

The white chocolate ginger jo jos were amazing. I'm super sad they aren't sold by themselves (or if so, I didn't see them; only got them in the mix of 4 kinds of chocolate covered jo jos). Made the mistake of sharing them with friends...

That's exactly the box we got as a gift for the holidays too - so far we have finished off the peanut butter and now the white chocolate ginger ones. I think we have a couple of the double chocolate, and a whole sleeve of the peppermint ones...

    Ciao Bella Bourbon Caramel Chocolate

    a88de3d6-ec57-4103-8996-6602ac049048_zps8ofimtvb.jpg

Really nice flavor. Sweet creamy caramel base with chocolate chunk mix-ins. Bourbon flavor could have been stronger. And there was just a hair over 3 servings in the container so I felt a little shorted.

I like bourbon. I like caramel. I like chocolate. I don't have Ciao Bella gelato available near me. [Sad Panda jpg]

I restocked my freezer with ice cream today.

I picked up a pint of Baskin Robbins Gold Medal Ribbon ... which is my all time favorite flavor, taking me back to my childhood. We don't really have Baskin Robbins where I live, but growing up in California, that was THE ice cream place to go to.

And it's every bit as good as I remember. :D

That was a good flavor back when I was a kid. My all time B-R favorite is Chocolate Peanut Butter. With the huge pieces of peanut butter in there? Oh how I loved that.

Also their baseball cap sundaes in the summer time were awesome!

How good is Baskin Robbins? I found pints in stores actually and there's a store not far from here...

I've never found anything except the sorbet up until now. Oh and the bars, which weren't very good.

Finished off the Gelato Fiasco and I haven't been able to get back to the one store to get more. Sigh.

@dunnodunno - I found it by searching their website. Directed me to a Fresh Market (which I had never of of - it is very new to the west coast).

Sweet and Salty Caramel Crunch ice cream. A vanilla base with crunchy chocolate covered toffee chunks, and swirls of salted caramel. The caramel is really nice, not too sweet and not too salty. This ice cream is really really good. I have a hard time limiting myself to just a serving of it :)

I should have used a smaller bowl, the scoops look so tiny in the big bowl!

    Yum. I adore toffee.

Just realized last night that my fancy Vosges chocolate bar has cute sayings imprinted on the chocolate...

I'm going to have to make a trip to Giant for Talenti and pizza, if that deal is still good. This morning I bought Turkey Hill's Party Cake, and Chocolate Marshmallow frozen yogurt, just for a lower calorie option at home. I always passed up Party Cake because I thought it was just like the birthday cake ice cream I've had before that was just ok, but then Turkey Hill posted a picture on their FB page and I realized it has actual cake pieces in it. Then I read on the carton that there's also buttercream frosting! I'll be having a spoonful after the gym tonight, because I can't wait til the weekend to try it.

Not my picture, but I'll probably take one.
