Doh. Did you check the end of the isles where the promo items usually are? Both the Shop Rite I went to didn't have them with the regular flavors.
Yep. Then I got the frozen guy lol who was not much more help than an ice cube. Told me simply strawberry and caramel apple pie were new. I wanted to throw a tantrum.

I need to find where Jeni's is, and the brand you guys were talking about in the other thread. That's the problem with only having three groceries around me and one's Walmart.
And apparently the nice store by my brother and sister-in-law has it. Time for a road trip!
Dorothy Lane Market has Jeni's, and there's a restaurant in downtown Dayton that has it on their menu.
I still haven't found any of the new Talenti flavors. I have two more stores that I want to check, so hopefully, one of them has at least one new flavor.
My husband told me last night that my ice cream addiction is getting out of hand. There's only 3 pints in the freezer right now; out of hand would be like 30+.

Yep, they also have Gelato Fiasco (the other one I mentioned). My brother and sister-in-law are five minutes from the store in Springboro, so I could pick some up the next time I'm out there. But I'm also wanting to make a trip to Jungle Jim's soon to check out their selection of everything.0 -
Jungle Jim's is heavenly. I wish I live in Cincy "only" to be near there and IKEA.
But honestly, I love Columbus too. The Craft Beer scene here is insane - which keeps both me and the SO very happy!0 -

I think if you go to the Jeni's website they have a store locator for places that carry them, you might just need to call the store to confirm it. I've never bought Jeni's for myself, but I have mooched off of @CallMeCupcakeDammit when she's gotten it. It is very good.0 -

Random note, inspired by your profile pic, I picked up some krazy kookie dough although I haven't tried it yet. I think I'll break that open as I cry into my bowl because I'm missing out on Fogo de Chao. I hate being sick...0 -
Almost forgot to take a photo, so I've already plowed into the serving:
It's better than I was expecting, and I needed to warm up to it a little. I usually prefer stronger flavors, but the dough pieces were firm and tasted very good (I still don't understand the crazy colors). Overall, very good.0 -

Yes you can go to their website and find a local store or order directly from their site. Sign up for their emails and you find out about specials and new flavors.0 -
So I've formulated a new plan to get my talenti. Lol. After all the reviews, I'm wondering if it's worth the effort. Have 2 pints of oatmeal raisin cookie and two pints of salted peanut caramel being delivered to me. I will drive four hours to the meeting place over red mountain pass, which was closed Monday and Tuesday due to avalanches. This picture was last Friday on same pass. My daughter and I watched them pull this suv up from several hundred feet down. Lol.

Oh wow that's dedication. To be honest, I like that local ice cream that is $2 a pint better than Talenti. It's really fantastic. But no calorie information just sucks. I can't eat it too often because I could be off by 100 calories a day, and it adds up. So, Talenti it is, but I don't think I'd pay full price for it (except the hazelnut one).0 -

The sprouts where my little girls mom lives at was out of the raspberry cheesecake and the cookie dough unfortunately. We make the trip every other weekend so it's really not that bad. Unless you know two feet of snow falls. And they were but one get one free. So about 2.50 each.

Our local Publix now has the Raspberry Cheesecake but none of the others. I've already tried that one so I was annoyed that it was the one they picked. :laugh:0

First time posting in this sub-forum. I'm a freak for ice cream and had a big shopping day today.
For anyone that lives near a Stop and Shop grocer, Talenti is $3.99 per and then, there's $10 off $20 of select items, which include Talenti. So I got 5 pints for $10, which is pretty good where I live. I might go back and get another 5 before the deal expires.
I also tried two of the new B&J flavors: Peanut Buttah Cookie Core and Speculoos Cookie Core. I was extremely excited at the prospect of both. Just last week I tried the Trader Joe Speculoos Butter for the first time and had a "where have you been all my life?" moment. I was hoping the ice cream would have the same effect but no, it did not. Maybe tomorrow I'll be able to judge it on its own merit but it paled in comparison to the TJ's cookie butter so at this moment, I'm quite disappointed. I'm saving the Peanut Buttah for latah.
At the suggestion of one of this subforum's moderators (I don't remember which one) I tried several different Gelato Fiasco flavors: vanilla, blueberry, caramel sea salt, dark chocolate caramel and pistachio. All very good but unfortunately overpriced, at least at Whole Foods. However, I was impressed enough that I have a "must-do" for when the weather gets nicer: a road trip to Portland, ME to visit one of their shops. I'll use any excuse to go to Portland, lots of incredible restaurants there.0 -
Does Stop and Shop have the new flavors? How do you get that $10 off $20 deal? I do have their card... I think. It's not very convenient but I know one 10 minutes away.
I'm out of freezer space though... But the TJ cookie butter ice cream is next on my list I think.0 -

Oh well their new circular starts tomorrow so it's probably too late anyway.0

You can go today. I think the sign said 2/27 - 3/7 (but don't quote me on it).0

THe only new flavor mine had was vanilla.0

I recommended the dark chocolate caramel and the peanut butter stracciatella. I'm iffy on most of the other Gelato Fiasco flavors I've tried.
I like the B&J's cookie butter-- I do think I liked the Trader Joe's version better, if only because less calories.0 -

I don't really know what the new Talenti flavors are so I'm not sure if they have them. I did get a few that I hadn't tried before but not sure if they're new (Butter Pecan and Pistachio).
The $10 discount is applied automatically. I'm off to get my next batch of 5 now!0 -
(I still don't understand the crazy colors)
I went to HEB yesterday with my insulated bag all ready to buy my first tub of Talenti and there was nothing but popsicles that really didn't appeal to me. I'll probably have to wait until my weekly run to the local Krogers next week to replace the Creole cream cheese I finished off today.
I did get myself a nice marranito from my favorite Mexican bakery though.

I bought the salted caramel core from Ben and Jerry's and I'm not super impressed. I "saved the core for last" because I figured it would be the best part; not a good idea. Salted caramel overload. I'm hoping it will taste better if I don't eat it like an idiot next time. I don't think the blondie bits add anything though; they have almost no flavor.0

I did not love that one, or any of the other previous Core series. I thought that one would have been better if they'd taken the salted caramel core and put it with the caramel ice cream from Karamel Sutra.0 -

I just had the Tiramisu this morning. I loved it! I agree, it was smooth and creamy. I didn't buy Oatmeal Cookie after I read what GiveMeCoffee said, and I couldn't remember if I'd read anything about the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, so I bought it. It just tasted like vanilla with alcohol in it and a couple of pieces of cookie dough. Not my favorite.
I "had" to eat some of my daughter's B&J Boston Cream Pie because it got smooshed, and I couldn't reshape the container without eating some. That's a legit reason! I really liked that one. I saw someone else mention it, too. And Peanut Buttah Core, holy mother of YUM!0 -

I want to move to where there's a Kroger. Whoah.

Definitely sign up for the e-mails so you know when they have their flash sales. It's worth it!
This morning, before I left for work, Bailey popped open the freezer and pulled out the Cookie Butter B&J's and asked if she could have some. I said yes, but a normal serving, not half the pint! You know I stood there and watched her scoop it out. I don't trust Sarah's friends with my ice cream. I might need to keep all the good stuff at work from now on. I opened the Mexican vanilla to find a spoon stuck in the very last bite full.0
