Main forums have cuckoo lately. Depressing. But, on the bright side, meeting friends at a favorite Burmese place in town for cocktails and dinner later tonight. There will be fried banana + either mango or coconut ice cream. Guess that will belong in the Sweets thread.

I am hoping to make an ice cream stocking run this weekend for some of the new Talenti flavors and maybe a Jeni's or Steve's or Graeter's (in addition to more Gelato Fiasco)!

Love the new profile pic MrM :)

Thank you. I put it up as a joke and it got a bunch of laughs so I figured I'd keep it up for a while.

It's like Leo is curious to see what insanity is going on around here.

I was too tired to shop after work today, but when I was walking around frozen foods on my lunch and saw still no new Talenti...but Graeter's Dark Chocolate Truffle gelato. I have a feeling it's going to be on my list tomorrow.

I need to find where Jeni's is, and the brand you guys were talking about in the other thread. That's the problem with only having three groceries around me and one's Walmart.

And apparently the nice store by my brother and sister-in-law has it. Time for a road trip!

I think if you go to the Jeni's website they have a store locator for places that carry them, you might just need to call the store to confirm it. I've never bought Jeni's for myself, but I have mooched off of @CallMeCupcakeDammit‌ when she's gotten it. It is very good.

Definitely sign up for the e-mails so you know when they have their flash sales. It's worth it!

This morning, before I left for work, Bailey popped open the freezer and pulled out the Cookie Butter B&J's and asked if she could have some. I said yes, but a normal serving, not half the pint! You know I stood there and watched her scoop it out. I don't trust Sarah's friends with my ice cream. I might need to keep all the good stuff at work from now on. I opened the Mexican vanilla to find a spoon stuck in the very last bite full.

No, no. Her friends will not ruin the party of deliciousness you have going on in that freezer...start hiding them in the back. I find it funny that Sarah's friends eat the last bits of foods, but she yells at Jack for eating his own B&J  (God knows he needs it...) I still haven't opened the Talenti Hazelnut because I'm waiting to bring it to your house for us to try together. What??? And that Mexican vanilla was so good. Just like an uncooked pizza in the toaster oven? What's wrong with these kids parents!

I've had the Graeter's Dark Chocolate Truffles. The truffles were great. I don't care for Graeter's base (too icy) but I still enjoyed it.

All the new talenti has been acquired(at least the ones I want). Along with some tonight dough and a few krogers pints mentioned above. 10 pints in freezer. 6 boxes of girl scout cookies. And two frozen pies. Lol. Is this the wrong time to commit to cutting my seven lbs? Happy Saturday!

I found everything but damn Tiramisu the one I really want! But stocked up on all the others, 8 pints bought today had to get them on sale, and only 4 boxes of GS cookies. I brought it all home and told Mr. C think I'm going to drop 10 more lbs. He just laughed at me.

Haha yes. I really want to lose my last 3 pounds now (plus the one I probably gained this month. Oops), and I have 9 pints of Talenti in my freezer.

No Tiramisu either. I don't know why they got them all but that one. I'll have to check Target and maybe I'll go to the Shop Rite out of the way to check it out (Talenti is on sale again next week).

Did you have to drive for hours?

Yep. Lol. My daughters mom lives 4 hours away and every other weekend she goes to see her. So 4 hours drive for 4 pints. The rest are finally in town.

Went to Trader Joe's but no room in my freezer so cookie butter ice cream was not bought. Has anyone tried their sea salt gelato? My daughter wanted the regular chocolate one but again... no room in freezer.

I was also both disappointed and relieved that they did not have the cookie butter cheesecake.

Have you all ever tried these?

    Mochi.jpg

I used to buy them and eat them one box at a time. They are so delicious. Especially the chocolate ones.

The cookie butter cheesecake was too rich for me. Those little treats will be tried next time I drive to Albuquerque(closest trader Joes.) as will these if they are still available. Also the nearest krispy kreme 9ivp3mcu5j91.jpg

Oh wow. I think the closest Krispy Kreme is 30 minutes away... But I still need to get that raisin danish I've been craving first. I'm thinking I'll drive over this week...

Last night was my first taste of Talenti's Salted Peanut Caramel - absolutely delicious, texture is perfect, could use some more mix ins, hoping there's more as I go. Like it better than the Salted Caramel. 9/10 will buy again

Now I want to try it... but I'm not a huge peanut fan...

I finally got to try the Talenti fudge brownie. Oh gosh. Why did I take so long to buy it? It's right in the top 3 now (after hazelnut chocolate chips and sea salt caramel).

    Restocked my freezer today.

    Going for this tonight:

There were quite a few flavors, and I've never seen TH Gelato, so that was exciting.

Also picked up the Talenti Oatmel cookie anyway, because I'm curious.

I saw the TH Gelato yesterday, almost bought it but figured I would wait for one of you to try it first

Still no Talenti but I picked this up from HEB because I really wanted to try some gelato. I'd definitely buy it again, it's got great presentation and flavor.

I saw that brand at my grocery store this weekend and was wondering if it was any good. I still have a couple unopened pints from our local gelato place that I need to eat up, as well as a couple pints of Talenti before I try anything new...

Talenti is 2 for $7 this week. I bought some of my old, stand-by flavors since I still can't find the new ones I want to try. I think I saw the Fudge Brownie, but I'm not a big chocolate ice cream/gelato/custard/frozen treat fan so I didn't grab any.

I'm holding out hope that my store will get them before our remodel starts next month. Otherwise, meh. Kroger has even less of a selection (no mint? Really?)

I haven't had a chance to check any of the Kroger Marketplaces yet. I'll be really disappointed if they don't have any either.

I heard on the radio that Talenti is on sale this week at Randall's/Tom Thumb/Safeway. I need to see if I can find any of the new flavors.

Tried these yesterday & they're not bad. 150 calories for two.

    Not my picture

Yeah, the one in Englewood doesn't have a great selection

I found them at Wal-Mart for $2.88 & you get four cookies.

I'm sorry to say that I finished the Hazelnut Chocolate Chip last night. I mean, I'm not sorry, but sorry I didn't share. I'll have to get more, because that one was delicious.

@Francl27‌, I almost bought that Mochi ice cream. I'll have to try that next time. My mom bought the Sea Salt Caramel gelato and said it was really good. I didn't want to get yelled at for hogging the office freezer space, so I didn't get it. Yet.
