I had this problem one month when I started using Lilyslim too. Dave suggested that I change the goal miles for the ticker set up and write the actual original goal miles in the heading of the ticker. That way they can update you on the spreadsheet relative to your original goal, but will know your actual mileage from the ticker.4+ miles running and 14.5 miles on the bike puts me over GOAL!
Lilyslim won't let me show anything over my goal?!
Total MTD= 302.75/ 300
I guess I fixed it, thanks!0 -

This group has been great for me! Before 2014 I hadn't done any road races or really anything besides walking in an event for a local charity. In April I started pinning my bibs to my gym locker (profile picture) for motivation and am proud to let you know I've done 6 rides, running road races or triathlons since April 20th of this year and have one more to go in October! I'm still reluctant to call myself an "athlete" because I still feel like the same slow out of shape person in the back of my mind, but the bib collection speaks otherwise.
Thanks everyone here for being such an upbeat support system for an average middle age person trying to stay healthy!
Love this!!! Congratulations on your accomplishments and thank you for sharing...it is inspiring to hear success stories!0 -

I got off work early today, picked up my grandpuppy and we hit the sidewalks for a great walk! It actually rained here this morning...yep, all the freeways were jammed up with accidents and spin-outs! We live in the California desert...we don't know how to drive in the rain!
09/24 - 2.13 miles
09/25 - 8.65 miles
Tomorrow is supposed to be in the 80s.
Have a great Friday!

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALL. Congratulations to CECI_O_K, 2ESSIE, CALLIOPE610
SUNFLOWER9194 – That’s great! I’m glad this group has been motivating for you. I remember when a friend of mine was training for a marathon – her first. She asked if I would train with her, and I told her I would train with her for a half-marathon (which would be my first, too), but I didn’t have the time/energy/desire to go for a full marathon. Anyway, one day, when we were getting ready for a 9 mile run, someone told us that we were runners. We both looked at each other and thought, “whaaaa… no we’re just trying to get into shape.” And then it dawned on us that people who run 9 miles at a time and run 3-4 times per week, every week, are, in fact, runners. Strange what “identity” issues come up with exercise, eh?
CLEPANT – you tried to short yourself 100 miles on your last post, but don’t you fret – I got your back. :laugh:0 -
