Despite a slightly difficult run this morning I made it through 5 miles and 1 of walking. I dropped to a BG of 54 at 2 miles, glucose tabbed myself up to 105 and then ran myself back down to 70. Usually running raises my bg. Perhaps because I kept my pace down to to increase distance. Didn't really work since crashes often make me lose energy. This just reinforces why running on a treadmill is a good idea for me. If this had happened 2 miles from home I would have been sitting on the side of the road for half an hour trying to get my BG back up.
Also updated for the last few days of walking.

Adding 15 miles for a killer spin class. Off to DC for a week, might not get any measurable miles in, but I'll be moving!

A complete rain out here. It was so uninviting I decided I'd rather pay bills than go out.0 -

I took my older son on a Fall Color motorcycle ride that my Harley dealer organized called Biketoberfest. About 80 bikes....and a clear, sunny crisp 35F degrees at the start, but it warmed up and we had a blast. Back to the dealership at the end for a German-themed lunch. Brats & sauerkraut, german potato salad, pretzels, etc served by the staff in lederhosen. lol Probably didn't burn anywhere near the calories you did though.

@Chevy_Smart - As a person who also travels on foot, I have to say 125 miles is a quite a goal. Good for you!
@Darkrider42 - Looks like another change is that mods can no longer edit another person's post - even if he accidentally posts the same thing 4 times? Sorry buddy, I was going to clean it up for you but no can do.0 -

What happened was that like I used to do before, I right-clicked on the "quote" link to open my reply in a new tab so as not to lose my place where I was reading and it gave me an error when I went to click the "post reply" button saying I didn't have permission to do that. Turns out I did. lol0
